We had a lovely stay at the cottage, it was a good base to use for our two beagle's on various walks.
Clean & tidy, we just about fitted in all weeks shopping as we can't eat out because of our dogs, so we usually cook. Plenty of room for our clothing, the welcome pack was a lovely idea us & the dogs enjoyed them.
Nice secluded location just be weary that it is a single lane to the cottage from the main Rd so just drive carefully, though its hardly used only for the residents that's inc the holiday cottages across the way.
Ruth was on hand to answer any of our queries and suggested some close by walks.
We would definitely stay again if we venture out towards Yorkshire again .

About the host
Hosted by Ruth Field
We bought this small holding in 2007. We have horses at livery as well as horses of our own. Both my husband and I live and work in our local community and our children go to the local school. We are on site so if guests should have an queries or need some local information we are always happy to help.
Why they chose this property
We bought Thirley Banks Cottage after leaving our arable farm. We wanted a fresh start whilst still wanting to live and work in a rural area. It also provides our children with a beautiful place to grow up.
What makes this property unique
The scenery and views from our windows is stunning, it is hard to believe that we are still so close to the seaside. It really is the best of both worlds. This area provides a good balance of coast and country.
