This was a lovely home with gracious and helpful hosts, off-street parking and a fabulous garden right next door to a historic 14th century Norman church. Alistair gave us lots of very helpful information about beautiful local walks, along with excellent maps and detailed instructions. The village is great with several nice places to eat (again Tricia and Alistair gave us excellent advice), and a local bakery which will make you a packed lunch for your walks. We thoroughly recommend this B&B and would happily stay here again
The property is beautiful, with exceptional attention to detail. Very comfortable room, in beautiful location. The breakfast was delicious and perfectly cooked. Note the accommodation is only suitable for pets if they will be OK in the outhouse.
Amazing stay, we were made to feel very welcome , the breakfast was wonderful, we will definitely be back!

Excellent historic property hosted by owners who truely care about your comfort
We had a very comfortable stay at this B&B. The common area is top notch; clean and well appointed. Our en-suite room was also furnished with antiques and new bathroom fixtures. The owners are very engaging and greeted us with tea and cakes. It is located in the center of town and you can reach several pubs and restaurants within a five minute walk. The town is also centrally located within the Peak District if you are exploring the general area. I highly recommend that you stay here !
