Fully converted authentic farmhouse with nice large pool area, BBQ, free Wi-Fi
This centuries old property compliments the charm of the rural village of Gharb, which is a gem in itself with its quaint streets, and splendid church. The village also boasts exceptional country walks.
Property still retains rare features of when the property was a working farmhouse including, its own arched mill room with fully functional fireplace - now a beautifully furnished living space. Excellent for the winter months. (No Air-conditioning in this room instead there is a fan)
A separate kitchen and dining area also retains the ambiance of times of the past, when it was the heart and centre of rural family life. The old back garden has been turned into a spacious sun lounge with a great sized private pool. Completed with a built in stone BBQ area ideal for a summer evening meal. (No Air-conditioning in this room instead there is a fan)
The property sleeps 8, in four rustically furnished bedrooms (one with ensuite facilities) on the first floor, all of which retain old original features - some with arches spanning the room and others with stone roof side supports. All of which are quite rare to find in present day Gozo. The bedrooms are accessible through a wide airy corridor overlooking the pool area, again an old feature which takes you back centuries and gives the place a serene and cool ambiance. This floor is also equipped with two separate shower rooms.
Additional services:
Included in this accommodation: All beds will be prepared with the appropriate bed linen, along with extra blankets in the wardrobes should you need further layers. In addition to this, you will also be provided with 2 towels per person – which will be placed on the beds ready for use.
The bedrooms ONLY are equipped with AC units that are available with an electronic coin system (€1 & €2 coins) installed at property with a screen to display the credit remaining, each AC unit consumes around € 2.50 per night.
We will also provide all bookings with 1x dishwasher tablet and 1x washing machine tablet per night of your stay.
Maid service is included when you book for 8 nights or more.
Flights to Malta and ferry crossing to our island of Gozo:
Land in Malta International Airport and than ferry crossing to Gozo. We can offer Car Hire and/or Direct Transfers from Airport to property after making the booking by completing our flight arrival and departure details form.

Gharb is a small quiet village situated in the west of the island of Gozo. The village is built upon a flat surface surrounded by three hills - Ta' Ghammar, Ta' Gelmus and Ta' Dbiegi. Near the local food store, one finds the Crafts Village which consists of a café along with several unique shops. Ta' Pinu National Shrine is 2.7km away from the property which is one of the most famous places of interest in Gozo. Along the way to Ta' Pinu one can appreciate Gozo's landscape and peaceful atmosphere.
The city of Victoria is 3.5 km from property and here you can enjoy the rich history from the knight’s time while unwinding in one of the coffee shops you can find whilst you explore.
A mandatory fully refundable security deposit will be temporary held from a valid debit/credit card as follows:
€ 200 for up to 6 adults and
€ 400 from 7 adults and up for properties with private pool
This amount is needed to cover for the following:
Any damages (excluding normal tear and wear)
Any missing items from the property
Any excessive noise that can create a nuisance to neighbours.
This amount will be temporary blocked from the card provided when prompted by our automated email system, and released automatically within 3-7 days of checkout. Baron Holiday Homes have 48 hours from checkout to report any damage or missing items to guest in writing.
Please respect your neighbours during holiday with us, may we remind you that any loud noise is not permitted at any time during your stay.
