In Sampieri, a few meters from the beautiful beach, on which stands the former Fornace Penna, (the "Manyara" Commissioner Montalbano) is the holiday house "Clara", an elegant villa consists of two separate apartments, with large garden private parking. Holiday house "Clara" is located near the bike path that connects Marina di Modica and Sampieri.
Two bicycles are available free of charge for guests.
The apartment Luna, on the 1st floor, consists of one double bedroom, kitchen-living room with sofa bed, bathroom and a terrace with sea views.

Great apartment, great location, great welcome

We stayed 6 nights in June 2017. Alessandro our host was very welcoming and attentive, providing a meal to heat up and an assortment of cakes on arrival and responding immediately when the gas canister emptied. The apartment is clean and well equipped, secluded but not isolated and perfectly located for the beach and right next to a cycle path with bikes provided. A 15 minute walk down the beach brings you into Sampieri. Many of the other sights are within easy reach by car. A short drive will take you to the train station. It looks deserted but you can catch trains to Noto and Syracuse and elsewhere. Just download the ticket onto your phone from the Trenitalia website. All in all we found Clara Luna to be an excellent place in which to relax and from which to explore. A perfect combination.

We were greeted by the owners parents who were most welcoming and charming. The house was well equipped and homely. The fridge was stocked with water, milk, cheese, fruit and the mother had made us a lovely meal. The gorgeous long sandy beach was just over the other side of the dunes. So eating breakfast on the terrace overlooking the dunes and sea was a bonus. Enjoyed walks along the beach to Marina Di Modica & Samipieri. We visited Mt Etna, Siracusa, Ragusa, Modica, Scillies, Ispica, Pozzallo and Punta Secca. There were also bikes available to use. An outside shower which was invaluable after being on the sandy beach. Spoke, text and What's App Alessandro several times who was so helpful and friendly. Overall our stay in Clara Luna was fantastic Su Dore
