The property is situated in Manot, a quiet village with a shop and post office .Manot is on a scenic route and has its own small beach where you can kayak and pan for gold! There is also a public tennis court in the village.

There is no pool at the property at the moment as it is being renovated but you can swim in the nearby Lac du Haute Charente or in Confolens swimming pools.

Nearby Confolens is a quaint Medieval town on the River Vienne where there are plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and a cinema.

Beautiful area for walking, cycling, kayaking, bird watching.There are also fishing and golfing facilities nearby. Other activities available near by are Velo rail,( which is like a pedalo on a railway track) Adventure park

Maison ancienne ambiance chaleureuse

Excellent accueil avec petits cadeaux dont un joli bouquet. Le barbecue était prêt! Les hôtes anglais sont charmants.Logement très propre. Maison aux ouvertures anciennes donc un peu sombre mais cela ajouté aux murs de pierre très épais permet une belle fraîcheur pendant les journées chaudes. Ambiance chaleureuse. Jardinet donnant sur la rue( attention aux jeunes enfants.) Je recommande le loquet de la porte ou la porte elle-même.Sanitaires impeccables.Question cuisine, Alison, ce serait sympathique d'avoir un moule à tarte et à gâteau. Dans le joli village, je recommande l'épicerie/ bureau de tabac et journaux qui est même ouverte le dimanche. L'épicier est très aimable et propose du pain frais( le commander est conseillé)Petit dîner simple à la guinguette, dans le magnifique cadre du camping au bord de la Vienne, à 5mn en voiture et 15 à 20 mn à pied.Excellent rapport qualite/prix.Je reviendrais avec plaisir si j'en avais l'occasion.

Maison agréable et spacieuse

Petit village tranquille avec plein de possibilités de détente aux environs : randonnées, vélorail, lacs avec baignade, visites de châteaux (La Roche Foucault, Rochechouart, .. Un petit bémol : la maison est située près d’une route très passante, ce qui rend peu agréable le repos dans le jardin en fin de journée. Par contre le bruit n’affecte pas le séjour à l’intérieur de la maison. Bilan globalement positif . Merci aux hôtes.

Séjour agréable à la campagne

Les propriétaires sont très gentils accueillants et disponibles. La piscine et le jardin mis à disposition offre un bel espace de détente. Petit bémol pour la piscine qui n'est pas chauffée. Pas de chance pour nous car il n'a pas fait très beau lors de notre séjour et l'eau était trop froide pour pouvoir y rester toute l'après-midi, à 23 ° notre enfant de 3 ans n'a pas pu en profiter. Mais nous savons qu'habituellement, l'eau est à 28/29° en cette période.

Super semaine à la campagne!

Nous avons passé une super semaine à Manot, le cottage était super avec toutes les commodités nécessaires pour des vacances. Une agréable surprise en découvrant les jeux de société, le jeu de boules et d’autres distractions mises à notre disposition. La piscine était top dans un grand jardin avec transats, badminton, table pour déjeuner au bord de la piscine etc.. Le village est très joli, Alison et Braian ont mis à notre disposition un petit guide avec les activités et les marchés locaux. Alison and Braian, are marvelous hosts, welcoming and very kind! I hope to see them soon for an other holiday at the Manot Cottage! Thank you for everything! Big kisses

Maison atypique

Belle maison du 18e bien rénovée sur 3 niveaux. Un étage pour les parents et 1 étage pour les enfants ! Très propre et bien conçue ! La piscine est grande et malgré qu'elle se trouve à 50m de la maison, nos hôtes très sympathiques ont pensé à tout ,! Petite cabane avec toilette glacière verres jeux....et au bord de la piscine table transats,fauteuils....je recommande !!

Agreable séjour

Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Alison et Brian dans jolie petite maison très propre et bien équipée. Le jardin et la piscine sont un vrai plus mais ne sont pas attenant à la location (ce n est pas clairement dit dans l annonce,) mais ça ne pose pas vraiment problème d aller dans le jardin des propriétaires tellement ils sont discrets. Manot est un joli village Nous sommes ravis de notre sejour.

Maison de village Manot

Accueil sympathique et chaleureux de Brian et Alison.Maison de village rénovée avec goût,très propre et confortable.Bon point de départ pour des ballades dans la région, ne pas hésiter à aller jusqu'au lac (25 mn en voiture) avec une plage de sable .Nous avons passé une bonne semaine à Manot ;)

Petite maison agréable

La maison est bien aménagée pour avoir tout ce qu'il faut. Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié le fait d'avoir un étage rien que pour eux (la chambre parentale étant en dessous). Dommage qu'il y ait si peu de terrain avec la maison, mais la piscine à 50 m offre également un très beau jardin pour jouer, une petite cabane pour se changer et mettre des boissons au frais. On peut facilement passer l'après-midi là-bas.

Propriété très bien placé propriétaire adorable et discret seul bémol piscine géniale sur un grand terrain mais à 50 mètres de la maison (maison des propriaitaires ) ce qui n'est pas dérangeant mais non précisé pour finir sejour très agréable

Nice house, great pool

We had a lovely stay at Chez Pineau with our two young children. The garden was lovely and Alison and Brian were most kind and accommodating. The WiFi and Cebeebies were a great bonus with the little ones!
