A rustic-lux retreat in a magical corner of the orchard.

The beautiful oak clad Shepherd's Hut located down a lane on Cardeeth Farm. Completely private, leave your car in the yard & walk up the windy path through the Apple trees. Look out onto green field & woodland.

Everything you need. Warm & cosy. Logs supplied to fuel the wood burner plus an electric radiator for quick heat, the sheep’s wool insulation within the walls keeps everything toasty warm in the winter & cool in summer.

The kitchen is fully fitted, electric fan oven & ceramic hob are easy to cook on if you don’t fancy lighting the Weber barbecue or going for the whole outdoor experience & lighting a fire in the stone circle! Cold storage & cupboard space, pots pans & crockery. Check out the elm boards, they were once growing on the farm!

Walk down into Carew through the wood along the lane, over the footbridge. Try a meal in Carew Inn, pick up organic milk from the vending machine in Milton, grab a packet of take-away fish & chips while your there.

Chose just to lose yourself in the space or go off on bikes, foot or take the car. Very central to explore the whole area.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park has so much to offer and it’s all literally on the doorstep. Golden sandy beaches, castles, tourist attractions, pubs, cafe culture, farm produce, restaurants etc.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hut & communication with Sally was great. We were lucky to get a clear night where we could sit under the stars by our fire pit, in the Orchard which was just for us. Would happily go back!

Pretty and peaceful location

This was a lovely weekend for me , I felt comfortable and cosy. I had everything I needed. Would have been great if the rain held off but it still didn’t spoil the experience. I hope to return this summer so I’m hoping there will be some availability. Value for money.

Love this little gem, it’s quiet and in a beautiful orchard location, the trees abundant with apples. Everything is available that is required for the stay along with a good sized fridge and logs are free if you decide to light the fire pit. It’s close to Tenby which has lots to offer. The hosts are responsive and very friendly, many thanks to them both. Would recommend.

Great accommodation, not so peaceful.

The accommodation and setting is lovely. The shepherd's hut is cosy and well equipped and in a great location. We had a 2 night stay. The first night was perfectly peaceful, however the second night was slightly spoilt by the fact that a large children's party was booked on the property. We came back after a meal out and had to put up with lots of children running around the orchard and shepherd's hut and loud music until 2230, which meant we didn't feel comfortable sat ouside. Although I appreciate that this venue has multiple rentals and there are other people staying, we felt that this was too intrusive and we wouldn't have stayed if we knew about this in advance. That aside, i would still recommend as the host and accommodation are both lovely we may have just been unlucky on this occasion.

The location was perfect for us to visit many of the beaches on our list and the accommodation was a perfect glamping experience! The shepherds hut was done to a very high standard and the separate toilet/shower room was only 2 steps away. Beautiful surroundings and very accommodating hosts. Thank you for a great stay!

Idyllic getaway

A truly delightful shepherds hut, even better and more spacious than the photos indicated, in a lovely secluded setting. A great base from which to explore the beautiful sandy beaches, castles and Pembrokeshire. Sally and Jim great friendly hosts, not forgetting our welcomes from Archie. Would definitely come back again.

Idyllic place in the country

My husband and I had an amazing stay at this property. The bed was super comfortable and the hosts were very friendly. Both the property and the hut were beautiful and well maintained and had everything you could possibly want for and escape from the city. Will definitely look to return in the future.
