Great Location and apartment
This apartment is situated in the Pernera region.
20- 30 minutes walk along the beach road into Protaras or go by bus ( either the 101 or 102 ) from the bus stop situated near the diving centre on the main road down from the island.
It was very quiet around the pool which also had little shade available. We chose to take the 10 minute walk down to Blue Spice to use their pool facilities which are free of charge as long as you had a drink or maybe food which I may say was fantastic quality and also very friendly. With a lovely beach just across from Blue Spice charging only 7.50€ for two beds and an umbrella for the day it just endorses the location of this great apartment.
The area has changed a lot since using the same apartment 8 years ago with private villas being built, but that doesn’t alter anything.
A 10-15 minute walk along past the divers centre into the centre of Pernera also offers a range of good pubs and restaurants also accessible along the bottom road where the beach and night club are situated. Food and drink well priced.
The immediate area also offers 2 or three pubs for entertainment or just watching the football. Tipsy Turtle is a great place as is The Spectrum bar just around the corner from the supermarket with The Station Bar further down the same road off to the left. You can also take this road as a quicker alternative to the beach path for a walk into Protaras although walking on the road as well as the pavement.
