Mana Talingchan, the modern Thai wooden villa on Bangkok famous BangPhrom canal, is a true getaway in a busy city! It perfectly fits a couple or a small family. Located on the area of my family estate, a quiet part of Bangkok, within 5mins drive to the nearest BTS station, Relax by the canal and enjoy my mom's greenery.


The Space

This truly unique renovated Modern-Thai style home is the best kept secret for those who seek quiet,clean, greenery, local living(laid back Bangkok), floating markets, canal adventure , within the busy City.

The house sits on the famous canal,the waterfront Villa has a private dock that can be use for getting on a long tail boat into floating market scene on the weekend, sightseeing along the way up to the river!

I am open for all your question/request prior booking. The house has been renovated so furnitures and things may not stay on the same spots as shown in the pictures. it just kept getting better and better if you know you are meant to be here.

Interaction with Guests

Privacy, friendly, happy, flexibility. The House where I live is just right next door(the other side of the canal). Personal Driver/taxi or rental car - recommended if you want to travel many places. The Neighborhood

Quiet Canal neighborhood.

Sound of birds singing, noise of the local boat engine, floating kitchen chatting, and wood floor squeezing..

Very rare and unique location, Peaceful Local neighborhood always welcome any style of travelers. Sit back and relax on the wooden balcony or private dock while watching color and sound of the real old Bangkok that you won't find easily these days in Bangkok.

Getting Around

Accessible by: Short minutes to the nearest BTS station by driving . Road (2mins walk at Villa to main road) 24/7 call taxi, private driver van, boat, private boat.

The House location is good for everyday living or traveling around Bangkok because one can stay away from the central Bangkok traffic. Easy to get around for many tourist attractions and famous temples in Bangkok.

5-10 mins to nearest BTS station
10 mins to Siriraj hospital
45 mins drive to/from main Bangkok's airports
2 mins walk to the main road.
~20 mins drive to Kaosan and Grand Palace
20 mins drive to Silom
40 minutes drive to Sukhumvit

Attractions: Ta-ling-chan Floating Market, Lad-Ma-Yom Floating Market, boat tour, bicycle tour, orchid farmetc. (There are boat tour service that I can call to the house dock for sightseeing or floating market while enjoy local food cooked from floating kitchens located right on the boat at the private dock)

Guests allow to smoke at the balcony or garden but not in the room as we keep it fresh with non smoking.
Party is acceptable for special occasions, but not so loud at late night.
