In the historic center of Scicli, Unesco heritage, now famous for Montalbano, a recently and finely renovated detached house, with 4 double bedrooms each with its own private bathroom, a large living room and a competing kitchen.
The house which is located high in the San Bartolomeo district, has a magnificent and large terrace overlooking Scicli, ideal for aperitifs and outdoor dinners.

Casa San Bartolomeo is ideal for discovering Scicli with its wonderful baroque churches and palaces, and as a base for exploring the entire Val di Noto, with Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Noto; the house is located only 5 km from the splendid beaches of Ragusa, 40 km from Comiso airport or 150 km from Catania airport.
Casa San Bartolomeo is ideal for at least 3-4 guests up to 8 people, and is equipped with the main comforts to spend an unforgettable holiday

The house has three separate entrances: the first entrance is directly into the first bedroom with en suite bathroom located on the ground floor, from which an internal staircase leads to the main body with living room, kitchen and 2 other bedrooms with two bathrooms interior plus one service. The central body can be accessed directly through an independent door without having to pass through the room on the ground floor. Leaving the main building through a short path (max 20 meters) you enter the fourth bedroom with bathroom, with totally independent access, with its large terrace which is located above the central body. Next to the bedroom on the terrace there is also a closet with a small table, chairs and a refrigerator.

The San Bartolomeo district is in the historic center of Scicli close to the famous caves of Chiafura. It is located in the center of the town in the upper part above the splendid church of San Bartolomeo. The house is reached via a staircase and cannot be accessed directly by car due to the small size of the alleys; however in the via San Bartolomeo there is an easily accessible outdoor parking

Super apartment in a quiet area of Scici

We enjoyed our stay in this property very much - it has all we needed, and is in an excellent location on the edge of Scici, with superb views over the town - well located for visits to Ragusa, Modica, and Ispica. Luigi welcomed us, helped carry our bags up the steps (note, there are quite a lot of these - you don't get a good view without steps!), and suggested good things to see and do locally. We enjoyed a meal at La Grotte restaurant, and pizzas at the small pizzeria on San Bartolemeo with a wood fired oven inside. Thanks, Luigi!

Wundervoller Aufenthalt, sizilianische Stadt wie man sie sich vorstellt

Luigis, Haus liegt super idyllisch am Berg von Scicli. Das heißt auch man muss sein Gepäck den Berg über schöne Gässchen hochtragen. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern also nicht so geeignet. Ist man jedoch erst angekommen so erwartet einen ein sehr geschmackvolles eingerichtetes Haus mit super Dachterasse und Blick über die Stadt. Scicli selbst wirkt sehr authentisch. Der Kontakt mit Luigi war schnell, unkompliziert und sehr freundlich.

Ungewöhnliches, charmantes Haus

Ein besonderes Objekt, über einige Treppen oberhalb der quirligen Altstadt gelegen. Wunderschöne Dachterrasse mit Blick über die Dächer der Stadt. Die Besitzer sind sehr entspannt und haben uns mit hilfreichen Tipps (Restaurants, Strände,…) versorgt. Bei Fragen/Problemen waren sie jederzeit erreichbar und haben sofort reagiert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
