My family and I stayed in this apartment during a visit to Toronto in March 2015 proceeding a country move from the UK, we loved it so much we decided to rent it from August as a starter property for our first 7 months in the country. it is a beautiful property in a great family neighbourhood, the area is full of leafy tree lined streets with wide roads and quiet streets.
It really does not feel like your in the city, it is close enough to Yonge to make public transport and downtown very accessible, but far enough away to make you feel like your in the suburbs. The garage is a real plus as to really experience the best parts of Ontario a car is a must.
Moving country is very stressful, it was amazing to know that all we needed to do was turn up with our suitcases. It is completely equipped with everything you will need, the only thing we have bought during our stay is a permanent cot for my 16 month old son. There are plenty of great restaurants and shops in the area, as well as some great parks and play spaces for kids.
The owners of the property were extremely helpful, and not only helped with any questions or problems we had with the property but also gave us a huge amount of help with some of the challenges of moving country.
I would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a vacation in Toronto who does not want to be in the hustle and bustle of downtown. Also it is a great place to start of your adventure in Toronto if just moving to the area like we did, particularly if you have children as the Mom and Tot programs and schools are some of the best in the city.
We have another baby on the way so have decided to move to a larger house in the same neighbourhood to accommodate our new arrival. We will miss our first Canadian home a lot!
