The gardener's house has just been completely restored and decorated in summer 2016. Its exceptional and very rare location overlooks the walled vegetable garden of the property. It is full of flowers, including more than 400 roses, fruits, including collection of apple and pear trees and many vegetables. Very Relaxing Stay

The cottage was comfortable, location was perfect and outdoor space amazing. Both Oxanna and Brigette were very helpful with the aid of Google translate. We unfortunately couldn't use the main pool as there was a problem with the filtration system and we weren't aware of it until we arrived which was disappointing. Overall we had a lovely relaxing break.

The house, though not state of the art, was okay. Everything we needed was available. The rooms are spacious as the kitchen is. The garden was so beautiful. We couldn't stop watching (we were at the right time I suppose). Flowers were still blooming and there was an abbundance of fruit and vegetables we were allowed to use. This and the absolute silence was overwhelming.The environment of the estate is beautiful and quiet as well. Ghislaine is a very nice host. Present when needed.

Lovely cottage with unique garden

We stayed two weeks in the cottage in august. We enjoyed a warm and friendly welcome. The cottage is cosy, the kitchen is well-equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The view from the master bedroom is truly splendid. The backdoor give you access to a very large walled vegetable garden that is absolutely unique. We made great meals with fresh salad and tomatoes. The pool of the owners is accessible and there is a private pool in the front lawn which our kids loved. Within an hour’s drive there are more than 80 castles. The nearby city’s of Angers and Nantes are also worth a visit. This is a place of peace and quiet and a lovely holiday destination for all ages.

Un cocon de calme et de verdure

Petite maison nichée dans la verdure, un coté de la maison donne accès à un grand jardin de pelouse, parfait pour le foot et le badminton et de l’autre coté on profite du verger/potager/roseraie. Magnifique !! La maison elle même est très agréable et bien équipée, idéale pour notre séjour en famille.

Relaxing Rural Retreat

The characterful renovated gardener’s cottage is sited in the beautiful countryside of the Loire (although it is very dry at the moment) and has all the amenities for a very enjoyable and peaceful holiday. The highlight of the property is the magnificent walled garden and orchard with its abundance of flowers, fruit and vegetables as well as a haven for bird life. We spent a lot of time simply soaking in the tranquility, lounging under the trees and cooling off in the swimming pool. Local amenities are only a short drive away or an hours walk if you feel so inclined. Ghislaine is an excellent host as is Alfons her constant canine companion. We would highly recommend this property especially if you are looking the unwind, enjoy nature and recharge your batteries.

Hellauf begeistert - ein fantastischer Ort

Um es direkt zu sagen - ein ganz traumhafter, spezieller Ort. Wir -13, 17, 20, 46, 50 - haben uns dort sehr sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist top eingerichtete und ausgestattet. Man kommt an und die Entspannung kann starten - auch Dank unserer netten Vermieterin und ihrer Art, ihre Gäste willkommen zu heißen. Ein großer Korb mit Gemüse aus diesem fantastischen Garten stand direkt in der Küche. Und damit zu dem Anwesen: dieser einmalige Garten, der sich direkt vor der Tür befindet - unglaublich toll. Er ist innerhalb einer alten Einfriedung top angelegt, Blumen, Obst, Gemüse, Kräuter, Schmetterlinge, Bienen - und das alles mannigfaltig. Wunderschön. Drumherum das Anwesen, Wald, alte Gemäuer, Scheunen, Wiesen, diese kleine Kapelle - alles frei zugänglich (bis auf das Wohnhaus, ein schönes kleines Schloss, der Besitzerin natürlich). Nicht zu vergessen sind natürlich auch die beiden Pools, die wir sehr genossen haben. Dieser Ort ist gut für die Seele - vielen Dank! Wir werden wiederkommen.

Magnifique séjour au calme

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison bien équipée et idéalement placée. Il y a beaucoup de sites à visiter à proximité, à commencer par les alentours du chateau. Le potager est extraordinaire ! Nous avons été très bien accueillis.
