Enjoy the 2. 800 hours of sunshine a year in Alicante. El Saladar (Urbanova), a very quiet family beach of golden sand where you can take long walks by the water. The flat is located in a protected environment between the old salt and surrounded by dunes on both sides. The beach has been awarded with the distinctive Blue Flag of the European Union. The residencial area is closed to traffic and only the movement of vehicles are allowed to park. We have parking garage roof surface for the exclusive use of this property. We are just 10 minutes drive from the Alicante Center. The views from terrace, dining room and master bedroom are great, the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to infinity. Eighth floor. Multisport courts, tennis, playground, petanque and swimming pool from 15 June to 15 September. It' is the right place to enjoy family, relax ... without sacrificing the enormous cultural and leisure offering Alicante and Elche. City bus from the door to Alicante Center. There is a boardwalk (promenade) with beautiful night views of Alicante and local where you can taste tapas, meals or more formal dinners, pizza, drinks, ice cream shops, supermarket and press. It is also suitable for business people who do not want to lose unnecessary time in transfers and optimize their travel; we are 5-7 minutes from the airport, the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OHIM), Alicante Center and highways of Madrid, Murcia and Barcelona.

Conchi is the incredibly helpful owner of this lovely apartment with amazing sea views of a beautiful beach; its the best of both worlds because everything you need for a quiet holiday is on your doorstep with a pool, beach, restaurants, and a little supermarket and yet Alicante City is just a 10 min bus journey away. A 30 minute walk up the beach brings you to a little town with more restaurants and shops too. I would recommend this lovely venue to anyone and me and my family will be back Conchi!!

We arrived to find this property very clean. The sea view is terrific and the complex quite well maintained. There is a wonderful restaurant called Moments within walking distance and a small grocery/convenience store that is behind the restaurant. If you get a chance then visit the Castle Santa Barbara while in Alicante it is worthy of your time. If you are inclined to fine dining then La Ereta serves some of the finest tapas I’ve ever had.

Lovely apartment for a short break

We spent 4 nights in the accommodation and we're very happy with everything - comfy beds, great view, clean accommodation. Just a warning that if Staying off peak the information listed in the description may not be accurate. Staying out of season (Feb) we realised too late that there were no supermarkets within 30 mins walk, and the winter bus service into Alicante meant less frequent/sometimes long journeys. We would happily stay again when all the amenities are in full swing!

Het appartement ligt erg mooi; een prachtig uitzicht, vlak aan het strand, en vanaf de zonsopgang tot een eind in de middag zon.De ramen op het balkon kunnen open/dicht gezet worden, afhankelijk van hoeveel warmte en frisse lucht je wilt hebben.Alles wat nodig kan zijn is aanwezig.En dan is er de knusse inrichting en het goede contact met Conchi als dat nodig is.Een aanrader!

Fijne plek om met het gezin samen te zijn

Het verblijf was buiten het seizoen. Hierdoor was er in Urbanova niks te doen. Maar voor ons was dit prima. Het appartement is prima, ruim genoeg. En het uitzicht is fantastisch! Verhuurster en ook de waarnemer ter plaatse zijn heel aardig en behulpzaam!

Spacious, comfortable, cozy apartment with an awesome view!

My wife and I loved our 31 day stay at this apartment. The three-bedroom unit was clean, comfortable and cozy, with plenty of towels, dishes, cookware, spices, etc. available. Most of all, we loved the view! My wife, a writer, used the expansive view of the clear blue sea and sunny skies from the balcony as her muse. The long walkway between the apartment buildings and beach offered us many leisurely and power walks during the day and evening (being nicely lit during the night). We didn't have a car so we relied on bus #27 to get to Alicante, about a 20-22 minute ride, costing 1.45 Euros. The bus stop is conveniently located less than half a block in front of the apartment building. We knew that the temperature in February would be more like late fall or early spring in the Midwest, where we live, which we prefer to a hot summer. At least 90% of the days were sunny. For us that was comfortable in the low to mid-60's, though there were some days in the upper 60's. Cool to cold at night. There is a small grocery store about an 8-minute or so walk from the apartment. It provides basic foodstuffs, household and personal items. Since it was the offseason, its hours were from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Knowing this, it was a simple matter to adjust when we shopped. There are also several very good restaurants along the walkway, though their hours tend to vary, with the exception of Moments, a cool restaurant/bar open daily from 9:00 am to 2:00 am. (that's correct, 2:00 am) Finally, it was a pleasure working with Conchi, the owner, of the apartment. She was responsive and attentive to making our stay as pleasurable as possible. For all these reasons, we had a wonderfully memorable stay at this apartment.

Great week in Alicante

We stayed as a family for a week in this apartment. the key handover went smoothly and we even got some tips on what we could do and visit. The apartment looks like the pictures and we were very satisfied. perfect for relaxed beach holidays. The beach is perhaps 3 minutes, just great. When we are back in Alicante, we will be happy to come back. :)

We had a great stay. The apartment was clean and the hostess was very helpful. If you like to go to the beach, I would definitely recommend this location. The city-center of Alicante is not too far, about 30 minutes by public transport or 15-20 minutes bij taxi (approximately 15-20 euro).

Great sea view and well kept gardens

March was not the time to visit Alicante as it was cold and most places were closed surrounding the apartment block except weekends. The apartment, whilst good, could do with maintenance work being done as door knobs and rails were loose or falling off. As we arrived on a Sunday afternoon as shops were closed, it could have been better if we had received a welcome pack of milk, water and toiletries so we didnt have to drive into Alicante and search a petrol station for supplies that day. However, we enjoyed the area and travelled around in our hire car visiting other towns, markets and the caves and parks. We found some good restaurants also. A nice break, even though the weather wasnt great.

Fantastic home from home apartment with stunning views

The apartment was great, towels, tea towels supplied, spare adapter plugs, cooking utensils, food staples eg salt, pepper, cooking oil. Washing machine. Conchi the owner was available by WhatsApp to answer any queries almost immediately. Urbanova in February was 18-20 degrees, lovely but a bit windy. It was also pretty deserted which was lovely on one hand though not all the restaurants were open. There are sports courts in front of this apartment, you need to bring your own footballs or tennis rackets. Urbanova is a residential area 10 mins by taxi from airport. If you don't hire a car, you are relying on getting the bus into Alicante (the no. 27 bus which stops in front of the apartment blocks, a 20 min journey, 1.25 euros. At that time of year the bus goes once an hour, it also can come early!! We Googled mapped the trip and it gave us the bus times that way. The last bus back to Urbanova leaves Alicante at 9:15 pm ish. All in all it is a good place to stay to get you the best of both worlds, and this apartment was particularly good, with beautiful panoramic views from the sun room.

Lovely, clean apartment

Overall, I loved my stay here. The apartment was bright, clean, and well stocked with everything needed. Conchi was a dream of a landlord. She was always available to answer questions quickly and give suggestions for restaurants, transportation, etc. She even found a private Spanish tutor for me (Belén), who turned out to be a fantastic teacher, with whom I am continuing with online Skype classes (thank you Conchi!). The view from the sun room was magnificent and, for November, the weather was nice and sunny, although windy at times. The only caution I have is that Urbanova is not a place full of nightlife, especially during the week – at least during the winter. Many of the restaurants were closed while I was there. But there is a bus to Alicante that leaves once an hour and gets you to the center of the city in a little over half an hour if you don't have a car. I would recommend this apartment for anyone who wants a quiet beach location with a fantastic view and good weather.

Schöne Wohnung gut ausgestattet

Wir waren die ersten zwei Oktober Wochen als Familie mit drei Kindern in dieser Wohnung. Sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Genügend Handtücher Bettwäsche alles was man in der Küche braucht und sogar Strandutensilien wie liegen und Sandel Sachen sind vorhanden. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin und zu dem Verwalter vor Ort war sehr gut. Die Anlage um den Wohnkomplex ist sehr gepflegt. Zum Strand ist man 2 Minuten zu Fuß unterwegs. Der Strand ist genial. Riesig und gut gepflegt.

Perfect for beach and sea holliday :))

I would like to say that it was an absolute pleasure to stay in Conchi's apartment. Description and photos of the flat are very accurate, such as those shown on the website.We was family of six ppl and there was no discomfort associated with lack of space. Flat is very bright and spacious perfectly clean and very well equipped.The view from the terrace directly on the sea and beach is just breathtaking totally stunning, location of the flat is perfect (exactly like shown on the photos).Very close to the Alicante airport just 5.6 km about 10 min. in the taxi. Ther's bus stop right outside the flat witch taking you to Alicante city center in about 15-20 min. and it cost only 1.45 euro. Conchi is very communicative ovner and provide excellent service she respond within the minutes if you got any questions she is there for you.We had a wonderful time in her apartment it was absolute pleasure visiting Urbanova and we looking forward to stay there again.:))) Many thanks :))

Great place to stay!

We went to Spain with mom on her birthday and we truly enjoyed the whole holiday. Our flight was arriving late and I was worrying about getting and finding the apartment so Conchi offered to pick us up from the airport and show us the flat. When we came to the flat everything looked great and we had fruits and drinks in the fridge, it was really generous to leave all of that for us. She explained everything about local areas, where to get food, where are the best restaurants, what to visit in Alicante, she even was helping us with the bus times. The area was great it was 20-25 min by bus to Alicante (10 min by car), 20-25 min walk to the nearest few small towns. The beach outside the apartment is great, there are quite few restaurants around (unfortunately very few people speak English), also few shops where you could buy groceries. We were really happy to stay in your apartment and we would definitely recommend other travellers to book it :)
