The altitude and position of Val d'Isere have shown yet again that it has some of the most reliable and best snow conditions in the Alps throughout the season. Amazing powder snow last season right through to the end.
A really exceptional appartment! Change over day Sunday. Centre town, 1st floor 50 sq m, fabulous views from Solaise to Face de Bellevarde. Incredible 40 sq m private terrace with furniture. Brilliant for spring ski-ing! Drop in at lunchtime for a beer in the sunshine.
Cosy well designed exceptionally sunny flat, pine or white painted ceilings and old oak beams create chalet atmosphere, always bright and warm. 2BD flat for up to 4 people, perfect for families.
Fully repainted, all soft furnishings redone, "new look" smart high quality anthracite and matching materials.
Pistes and lifts 5 min walk or bus. "Train Rouge" local free bus stops right outside, taking you to Fornet, the Rond Point for ski school, La Daille. Only few minutes' walk from central town parking, you don't need a car in Val d'Isere!
Largest supermarket in town next door, the famous Chevallot boulangerie and chocolatier opposite. Situated between shops, restaurants and free transport running all day.
Beds made up ready for arrival, clean white linen and fluffy towels. Cleaning included, all cleaning accessories provided, including bathroom toiletries.

I have skied Val d'Isere for well over 50 years, know it well in the summer time, and bought this flat 20 years ago to make it into "my place". I am delighted to be able to share it with you. My daughter in law did all the soft furnishings, see the photos for quality of materials and design. Now happily retired and remarried my husband and I ski there early December, January and March allowing me to rent it out to pay the bills! I hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
If you're looking for total peace and quiet with no bars, few young and are more interested in who is walking around town in a fur coat, then I would not advise Val d'Isere. But if you really want to be centrally based in one of the top ski resorts in the world, with a greater guarantee of being able to ski when other places are closed, Val d'Isere is for you.
Ease of access to the slopes, bus stops in either direction immediately outside the flat, take you to either end of the ski transport system (La Daille or Fornet) or centre of the slopes for the many many ski schools, then take the bus to the Rond Point and find your meeting point.
You have every shop you might need on the doorstep in particular the world famous Chevallot boulangerie a step away, fresh croissants and bread in the morning and if you can resist their mouth watering chocolate cakes and patisseries in the afternoon you are a stronger soul than most!
The fantastic 40 sq m private terrace sets the property back from the road but still provides picture post card views of the slopes and the town in front from early morning to late at night when the slopes are lit with lazers and busy with machines preparing the pistes for you the next day.
There are no high buildings opposite to block your view, this is truly a perfectly situated flat.
