About this property
RODOS PARADISE VILLA is an exceptional, peaceful property.
The Rodos Paradise Villa is an exceptional property, one that guarantees a luxurious holiday in a peaceful, private Rhodian setting.
The privately-owned villa is synonymous with elegance, ideal for holiday makers who are looking for something special, something the standard of a deluxe hotel and, at the same time, offering a taste of local living.
The villa reflects its owner's love and respect of Rhodes' history and heritage - a touch of paradise in an unmatched setting with an unrivaled view.
Rodos Paradise Villa was built to match its magnificent surroundings and the unique section of land which offers privacy and spectacular views over Rhodes’ east coast, across the Aegean Sea towards the Turkish mountains, and, more locally, Rhodes town, which is only minutes away.
The 345 m² Rodos Paradise Villa is set on a vast 3,000 m² property. The family home was designed by its owner, Michael Kasiotis, who was determined to combine contemporary style, modern facilities and a touch of luxury with the magnificent architecture and lines of the Aegean.
Rodos Paradis Villa is located on the east coast of Rhodes island, just minutes away from Koskinou village. The villa can be accessed at the end of a private drive, through a wide gate, with plenty of parking spaces.
It is easily accessible, only 12kms from Rhodes’ international airport, and 5kms from the island’s international harbour area.
This great location makes the villa, the ideal starting point for exploration of the island’s magnificent natural and historical attractions, its beaches and tourist spots.
The villa has a modern, well appointed kitchen which leads on to comfortable front veranda, the ideal spot for relaxing, dining and evening cocktails and dining.
The home’s dining area is perfect for both cosy and family meals. Rodos Paradise Villa features a ‘winter corner’ with a modern yet traditional fireplace and its spacious lounge is furnished for comfort. The lounge also leads out on to the spacious front veranda.
On the ground floor there is a small toilet and shower.
Upstairs the four bedrooms are comfortable, well furnished, with large wardrobes and cupboard space and desks. All offer fine views over the property and beyond. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and its sofa opens to an extra bed if required. The other bedrooms all have king size double beds. They share toilet and bathroom facilities
It is obvious that the garden surrounding the property has been developed with care and attention. It includes local plants and shrubs including hibiscus, bougainvillea and jasmine, and an amazing range of fruit trees, including orange, lemon, mandarin, fig, avocado, prickly pear, almond, pomegranate, apricot and plum. A large vegetable garden is a further indication of the property owner’s passion for gardening.
Within this garden setting, Rodos Paradise Villa also offers the best of outdoor living. The purpose-built barbecue area is easy to operate, there’s a small garden kiosk and another seating area under the shade of the property’s pine tree. All perfect places for casual dining, on-site picnics or just lazing about enjoying the unmatchable Rhodian climate.
The villa’s 50m² swimming pool is styled to match its magnificent setting; a perfect place to relax, swim and sunbathe in perfect privacy and away from the island’s busy beach areas.

The villa is minutes away from the centre of Koskinou, a delightful Rhodian village which, despite rapid tourist development on Rhodes island, has managed to maintain its own character. The village combines old and new, boasts some very good local tavernas and is known for its hospitable and welcoming inhabitants.
Rhodes town is also 5kms away, minutes by car. This busy cosmopolitan centre also combines old and new, and boasts a unique Palia Poli, or Old Town, which is designated a UNESCO historical site. The walled Old Town, with its paved and cobbled streets, boasts a plethora of restaurants and tavernas, shops and bars. This monument is a living Old town, with more than 2,500 local inhabitants. Cars are not permitted in the Old Town but what better way to take in its atmosphere and charm than a stroll along its lanes? Besides its seemingly endless tourist services and facilities, the Old Town also has an amazing Palace of the Grand Master, harking back to the days of the Knights of St John; a world-class archaeological museum; one of Europe’s oldest Jewish synagogues; mosques, Byzantine churches and many more historical monuments. You walk and breathe history in the Palia Poli.
The Old Town, however, also has a very lively nightlife and a different charm in the evening light.
Rhodes town is, however, not just the Old Town. ‘Downtown’ Rhodes is a busy commercial centre with shops to match those of any major European centre. Mandrake harbour hosts pleasure and day trip boats to suit all tastes and pockets and the town’s beaches are, like all those on Rhodes island, lucky to have sparkling clear water.
Just 2.5kms from Rodos Paradise Villa lies the outstanding Kalithea spa, an area developed in the 1920’s when wealthy Europeans and travellers from the Middle East sought out its natural spring waters. Restoration work on the original spa buildings and the surrounding areas has Kalithea rated as one of Rhodes’ top attractions. It’s a stunning area, great for swimming, sunbathing, diving and perfect for an evening cocktail. It is also a popular venue for weddings.
Close by (3kms from Rodos Paradise Villa) is the island’s largest resort, Faliraki with a staggering range of hotels, facilities and services for holidaymakers.
The east coast road, which is easily accessible from Rodos Paradise Villa, leads on to Afandou (13 kms) and the island’s golf course. Then, on to another major resort, Kolimbia. Inland the Seven Springs valley is well worth a visit.
Back on the coastal road there are numerous towns and coastal resorts en route to what is considered the ‘jewel’ of Rhodes island, the town of Lindos.
Lindos is 35kms from Rodos Paradise Villa. It’s a stunning village, nestling under the Lindos acropolis which is one of Greece’s oldest. It’s a favourite of most visitors to the island and it’s easy to see why! Lindos is a town of whitewashed houses and tiny paved lanes. Cars are not allowed; Lindos streets are ruled by its local ‘taxi’, donkeys which weave their way through the town up to the acropolis. Lindos offers a wide range of shops, restaurants, tavernas and bars; its sandy beach is rarely empty!
A trip up to the acropolis is recommended.
The road along the east coast continues, through more resorts and small towns, to lead to Prasonissi at the very tip of the island.
The Western side of the island is also easily accessible from Rodos Paradise Villa and offers another array of sightseeing possibilities including: Philermos, the unique Valley of the Butterflies; Ancient Kamiros; ruins of castles and fortresses and many towns and villages, each with its own character and atmosphere.

About the host
Hosted by Michael Kasiotis

Yia sas! Hello! My name is Michael Kasiotis and I am the owner of Rodos Paradise Villa.
I am very proud of the property as I believe it ‘speaks’ about my love of the island, my love of Greek architecture, my desire to have somewhere special and remarkable to go home to after a long days’ work.
For many years I owned and managed Rhodes’ town top jewellery centre and gallery of fine carpets and gifts. I have, however, always enjoyed cooking and entertaining and, more recently, turned my talents to developing one of the Old Town’s top fast food outlets, a Greek deli which aims to impress its customers with its range and quality of its eating and drinking options.
I am passionate about the island where I was born and grew up. I have always been and will continue to be a ‘voice’ in local politics and anything that has to do with the island’s future and the services and facilities we, as Rhodians, offer to our visitors.
I live off-site but close to the Rodos Paradise Villa and am more than willing to help in any way to make my guests’ holiday on Rhodes memorable and enjoyable. I have a deep knowledge of the island’s history and its place of interest and will readily answer any queries or point my guests in the right direction.
I can also assist with car or motorbike hire, extra travel arrangements, tours, tour guides etc and make suggestions and offer my opinions on local restaurants, tavernas, coffee shops, bars and nightclubs.
I have dual nationality – Greek and Swiss – and speak Greek, English and German.
I aim to offer you the best holiday possible on Rhodes…so please feel free to ask anything!
