Awesome Vacation

The house was in a great location, extremely nice, very clean, and fully stocked with everything you could need. Jennifer was an excellent host and was available if we needed her. Marie (housekeeper) was incredible and her cooking was great. We caught some fish and she cooked them. I 100% recommend this place for a vacation and we will be back. Thanks Jennifer and Marie.

Lovely Villa in awesome Location

Out stay in this villa was perfect. The house is beautiful, clean, fully equipped, well maintained and the locatiom in first row beach front is awesome. Supermarket, restaurants and street food places are within walking distance.We especially enjoyed the garden with the beautiful sea view.Jennifer was a great host, she was really accommodating with check in and check out times.During our stay the construction site was still operating, which Jennifer let us know beforehand. For us, it wasn't to loud or annoying. Overall, I would totally recommend this place and we would love to visit again!

Wonderful

We stayed 11 nights at this cute cottage right on the sea at Trou Aux Biches. Everything was wonderful, great location , well equipped kitchen. Lying in bed looking at the spectacular sea was amazing. Great outdoor seating . Sun beds right at the ocean side. You have a supermarket and restaurants very close by. You can swim right in front of the house but it is a little rocky and you most definitely need sea shoes. However you can walk 100 metres and there is the sandy beach we did a combination of both. There is construction going on next door it didn’t really bother us . A lovely place on the west coast. Marie the housekeeper was very nice and Jennifer was right at the end of the phone. would definitely come back again.

A Dreamy Property

This characterful house is simply perfect. Jennifer our host kept in touch throughout the booking process and came to meet us on check in to explain everything, thanks again for the welcome treats .The pics did not do it justice and we never got tired of the turquoise sea sitting at the end of the lovely garden for 2 weeks. Trois Aux Biches has everything for a home stay and the house is equipped with everything you need as well as the large PoPo supermarket less than 5 mins away with fresh pastries and french bread. We cant wait to come back soon to this house, we really didnt want to leave it. Thanks to Marie Lourde for the daily visits to say bonjour and give the place a quick spring clean each time, she is a lovely lady.

Tolles Haus mit Ausblick.

Wir haben im Haus von Jennifer einen tollen 12-tĂ€gigen Urlaub verbracht. Wie bereits in den Vorbewertungen ersichtlich hat das Haus eine tolle Lage mit direktem Blick und Zugang zum Indischen Ozean. Der Sonnenuntergang ist fantastisch. Im Haus findet man alles was man zum Leben braucht. In der NĂ€he sind ein kleiner Supermarkt und mehrere Restaurants. Highlight ist die gute Fee des Hauses - Marie Lourdes - die mit immer guter Laune sich um die Sauberkeit des Hauses kĂŒmmert.

Mauritius 2023

This is a wonderful property in a fabulous location, in fact the website pictures do not do it justice. We did have a hire car so could explore the entire island but felt we had chosen the right place to base ourselves. There are so many fabulous restaurants within walking distance that we were spoilt for choice. Marie-Lourdes, the housekeeper, looked after us very well and cooked us a fabulous meal one evening and was a fountain of knowledge about the island. Throughout the booking process, the owner, Jennifer was extremely helpful in arranging transport to and from the airport and we were extremely grateful for the flexibility on check in and departure.

Großartiges Haus in toller Infrastruktur.

Bestens ausgestattete KĂŒche mit allen erdenklichen KĂŒchenutensilien (egal ob Blender, KĂ€sereiben, Knoblauchpresse, sogar Austernmesser - alles vorhanden) Ideal fĂŒr Selbstversorger! (Auch Waschmaschine und GeschirrspĂŒler sind vorhanden) Die wirklich nette Marie Lourdes (HaushĂ€lterin) kommt jeden Tag um sich um das Haus zu kĂŒmmern. Großer Supermarkt in Gehweite.(200m) Etliche Restaurants ebenfalls in Gehweite. Man braucht wirklich nur ein Fahrzeug um hinzukommen. Toller westseitig ausgerichteter Garten, mit perfekten SonnenuntergĂ€ngen. Einziges kleines Manko: Kein Strand direkt vor dem GrundstĂŒck. Das stört aber keinesfalls!! Die 5km lange Bucht mit tollem weißen Sandstrand beginnt 50m weiter rechts. Wir kommen wieder!!

Nous avons passĂ© un super sejour dans la maison de Jennifer, face Ă  l'ocĂ©an indien les pieds dans l'eau, la maison est vraiment toute Ă©quipĂ©e et proche de tout, magasin chez Popo et restaurants Ă  proximitĂ© ainsi que les arrĂȘts de bus pour toute destination.Sans oublier Marie Lourde, qui a Ă©tĂ© au petit soin avec nous. Paradise on the beach

My husband and I spent 9 perfect days in this beautiful house. The sea starts almost at the bottom of the garden and the sunsets are to die for. A supermarket is close by and a small restaurant/grill bar is across the road. I can confirm all other 5-Star positive reviews. We'll definitely come back. Thank you Jennifer! Idylle in traumhafter Umgebung

Sehr charmantes Haus mit großer, ĂŒberdachter Terrasse und kleinem tropischen Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Meer. Immer sind ausreichend PlĂ€tze in der Sonne und im Schatten zu finden. Durch den GĂ€rtner und die ausgesprochen nette HaushĂ€lterin Marie Lourdes, die auf alle WĂŒnsche umgehend eingegangen ist, ein perfekt gepflegtes Anwesen. Und dazu hatte uns Marie Lourdes auf Wunsch auch noch sehr lecker mit frischer mauritianischer KĂŒche zum Abendessen versorgt. Wir haben jeden Abend das Sonnenuntergangs-Kino vom Garten aus genossen. Vom GrundstĂŒck aus ist das Baden direkt (mit Badeschuhen, da kein Strand) sehr gut möglich - und sogar das Schnorcheln zum Riff (einer der besten SchnorchelplĂ€tze in Mauritius!) kann direkt vom Haus aus gemacht werden (wozu andere sonst ein Boot mieten mĂŒssen). Eine Fuß-Minute entfernt beginnt der lange Sandstrand - und in ca. 3 km Entfernung liegt mit Mon Choissy einer der schönsten SandstrĂ€nde von Mauritius. In direkter Umgebung (5 Fußminuten) gibt es einen gut sortierten Supermarkt und ebenfalls fußlĂ€ufig diverse Restaurants unterschiedlicher Preisklassen. Und auch TagesausflĂŒge in den SĂŒden waren mit dem Mietwagen gut möglich (kleiner Tipp: Port Louis weitrĂ€umig umfahren und deutlich mehr Zeit einplanen als die Navi-Apps ankĂŒndigen, da der Verkehr sehr dicht ist). Sehr schön war auch, dass Jennifer, die EigentĂŒmerin jederzeit erreichbar war und der Kontakt schon im Vorfeld immer sehr angenehm war und sie uns viele hilfreiche Tipps und Informationen zu Haus und AusflĂŒgen gegeben hat. Kurzum: wir hatten drei herrliche Wochen - und wĂ€ren gerne lĂ€nger geblieben. Aber wir kommen sicher wieder.

TrĂšs belle maison au calme avec une superbe vue sur la mer

Maison et jardin trĂšs agrĂ©ables. PropriĂ©taire trĂšs gentille et trĂšs attentive au bien-ĂȘtre des locataires. Si on le souhaite, elle se charge de nous rĂ©server un taxi qui nous attend Ă  l'aĂ©roport (superbe minibus climatisĂ©, avec un chauffeur trĂšs sympathique et professionnel, Ă  un prix trĂšs raisonnable). Dans la maison, il y a un porte-vues avec plein d'astuces, d'adresses et de numĂ©ros de tĂ©lĂ©phones pour passer un bon sĂ©jour. Elle prend la peine de nous tĂ©lĂ©phoner pour nous avertir qu'un avis de tempĂȘte est annoncĂ©... Que demander de plus? Quant Ă  la femme de mĂ©nage de la maison (trĂšs important Ă  Maurice!), c'est une vraie perle, excellente cuisiniĂšre et toujours de bonne humeur. Au dĂ©but, nous avons un peu regrettĂ© que la maison ne donne pas directement sur la plage (elle donne sur la mer mais la plage a disparu depuis quelques annĂ©es Ă  cause de la montĂ©e de l'eau) mais nous y avons gagnĂ© en tranquillitĂ©.

Parfait je recommande

La maison est bien situĂ©e au bord de l’eau,juste Ă  quelques secondes de la plage de sable cela permet de profiter d’un calme continu et de la magnifique vue sur l’ocean. L’accueil de Mme Fleurot est tout simplement parfait vous profiterez d’un petit panier avec cafĂ© thĂ© beurre fruit.. trĂšs bien pour arriver tranquillement sans avoir a courir faire les courses. Un classeur ou toutes les indications et les bons plans sont notĂ©esune belle organisation avec des explications trĂšs claires. Marie lourdes qui s’occupe de l’entretien de la maison est trĂšs souriante et trĂšs conviviale elle vous concoctera de bons petits plats Ă  votre demande. Mme Fleurot nous Ă  fait profiter d’un bon premier repas prĂ©parĂ© par Marie Lourdes Ă  notre arrivĂ©e. Encore merci Ă  Mme Fleurot pour ce beau sĂ©jour.

Direkt am Meer

Mein Freund und ich haben ca. 3 Wochen hier verbracht. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Unten befinden sich die KĂŒche, ein Badezimmer, ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und das Wohnzimmer. Oben sind ein Badezimmer, ein Schlafzimmer mit zwei Doppelbetten und ein Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten. Die ĂŒberdachte Terrasse ist extrem groß und gut ausgestattet. Es gab einen Esstisch mit 6 StĂŒhlen und eine gemĂŒtliche Sitzecke mit 2er Sofa, 2 Sessel, 2 Hocker und einen Tisch. Wenn wir zu Hause waren, haben wir die Zeit immer auf der Terrasse verbracht und unsere Mahlzeiten dort eingenommen. Der Meerblick ist einfach wunderschön. Der Garten ist groß genug und hat eine Außendusche. Über einen direkten Zugang kann man ins Meer, welches an der Stelle etwas steinig ist. Geht man aber ein paar Meter weiter, beginnt auch schon der wunderschöne Strand. Ca. 300 m vom Haus entfernt gibt es einen sehr gut ausgestatteten Supermarkt. Ein StĂŒckchen weiter sind eine Apotheke, Bankautomat, Autovermietung etc. Direkt gegenĂŒber vom Haus ist das CafĂ© International, bei dem es extrem gute Burger und Steaks gibt. Am Tag unserer Anreise wurden wir mit einem typisch mauritianischen Willkommensdinner begrĂŒĂŸt. Da wir spĂ€t Abends angereist sind, wurde auch der KĂŒhlschrank fĂŒr das erste FrĂŒhstĂŒck gefĂŒllt. Der Kontakt mit Jennifer hat super funktioniert. Auf alle Fragen kam innerhalb kurzer Zeit eine Antwort. Den Flughafentransfer hat sie auch organisiert. Marielourde, die HaushĂ€lterin, ist sehr freundlich und immer gut drauf. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, vor allem den kurzen Weg zum schönen Palmenstrand und die SonnenuntergĂ€nge.

A la fois calme et proche de toute commoditĂ©, la maison offre tout le confort nĂ©cessaire Ă  un sĂ©jour agrĂ©able (Nous sommes restĂ©s un mois) et des lieux oĂč il faisait bon se reposer ou prendre ses repas (varangue et jardin). Jennifer s'est montrĂ©e trĂšs attentive Ă  notre satisfaction Ă  l'arrivĂ©e et au long du sĂ©jour et rĂ©active en cas de nĂ©cessitĂ©.

superbe localisation

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans votre agréable villa, bien située à l'extrémité de la plage de trou aux biches à laquelle on accÚde par le bord de mer. L'ensemble de la villa est fonctionnelle et ses 2 salle d'eau wc, sont trÚs pratique lorsque l'on est nombreux. La literie est correcte, pour nous un peu trop ferme. Une belle terrasse abritée permets de passer de bonnes soirées avec tout le confort, canapé et ses fauteuils, table extérieure. plusieurs lits de plages, tables permettent de profiter du soleil. Marie lourdes est trÚs sympathique,et les différents plats préparés sont tous succulents, un régal. Nous avons fait plusieurs excursions avec Mr Veegen, qui nous a permis de nous balader en toute sécurité, et toujours de bons conseils. Merci pour toutes les prestations. Cordialement.

Gleich vorne weg: Dies war der schönste Platz an dem wir jemals Ferien verbracht haben. Und wir waren schon in Hawaii, Thailand, Sri Lanka. Wir wollen ganz sicher wiederkommen!!! Jennifer hat unseren Transfer organisiert und so wurden wir gleich nach unserer Ankunft von einem freundlichem Fahrer zu unserer Unterkunft gebracht. Nach der freundlichen BegrĂŒĂŸung durch die Vermieterin erklĂ€rte sie uns die Technik des Hauses. Dann erkundigte ich Garten und Terrasse. Ich war ĂŒberwĂ€ltigt: Der ungestörte Blick ĂŒber den Ozean, wirklich mindestens 180°, diese Farben, die exotischen, riesigen BĂ€ume, die Palmen und die verspielte, einmalige Architektur des Hauses, einfach ein Traum. Und dann die SonnenuntergĂ€nge: Einfach unbeschreiblich!!! Doch was wĂ€re dies Alles ohne Marie Lourd. Ihr Lachen wĂ€hrend sie das Haus besorgte hat immer gleich fĂŒr gute Stimmung gesorgt. Sehr selten trifft man so freundliche, warmherzige Menschen. Sie ist die HaushĂ€lterin aber sie kocht auch manchmal fĂŒr GĂ€ste, wenn man sie fragt. Sie ist eine hervorragende Köchin und so kamen wir oft in den Genuss original einheimischer Speisen Die RĂ€ume des Hauses sind ansprechend groß, die Einrichtung einwandfrei. Die Lage ist einmalig. Nichts verstellt den Blick auf den Ozean. Die Terrasse mit ihrer Einrichtung lĂ€dt zum Entspannen ein, wir verbrachten die gesamte Zeit, wenn wir nicht auf Tour waren an diesem fantastischen Platz. Große Hotels sind in der NĂ€he aber nicht so nahe das ihr LĂ€rm stört. Direkt gegenĂŒber ist ein sehr gutes Grillrestaurant, ein paar Meter weiter ein erstklassiger Italiener, wenn man so etwas auf Mauritius denn will. Ganz in der NĂ€he befindet sich ein gut sortierter Supermarkt. Noch paar Meter weiter gibt es GeschĂ€fte fĂŒr Alles und auch eine Apotheke. Noch viel Schönes, ĂŒber die Freundlichkeit der Bevölkerung gegenĂŒber uns Weißen,trotzt unserer unrĂŒhmlichen Taten in der Vergangenheit der Insel, ĂŒber die Naturwunder könnte ich erzĂ€hlen. Über das GlĂŒck das es Hausbesitzer gibt die auch anderen Menschen die Möglichkeit geben fĂŒr einige Zeit die schönsten PlĂ€tze auf der Welt zu erleben. Deshalb vielen Dank an Jennifer die uns eine so schöne Zeit ermöglicht hat.

This wonderful, quaint, fully equipped house is lovingly maintained and cared for by Jennifer, the owner, and cleaned spotlessly by Marie Lourde every day. Jennifer kept in touch with us when there was cyclone weather to ensure that we were OK. We felt truly welcomed and loved our stay here. The sea is right at the bottom of the small garden and there is easy access to the most amazing beach of Trou Aux Biches. Off the beach we were easily able to swim to the coral beds and snorkel for hours. Do not be put off by the “private area” sign in front of “Le Plage” beach bar
..public use of this beach Club is allowed and we spent time there every day, enjoying cocktails and eating light snacks as well as watching the sunset from their beach beds. The waiters are friendly and welcoming. Within easy walking distance is a great supermarket, Chez PoPo and plenty of good restaurants like International CafĂ©, Souvenir, la Caprese and make sure you order Peking Duck at the Chinese Palace. Trou Aux Biches is a very expensive area to rent in but Jennifer’s house is affordable for most budgets and absolute value for money. We are so grateful that we found this Island Gem.

Traumhafter Urlaub!

Wir haben 2 wunderschöne Wochen im April in Trou aux Biches verbracht und wĂŒrden am liebsten sofort wieder kommen. Nach unserem langen Flug wurden wir von einem sehr freundlichen Fahrer abgeholt (Jennifer hatte den Transport fĂŒr uns organisiert). So konnten wir die ersten EindrĂŒcke dieser schönen Insel ohne Linksfahrstress genießen. Jennifer begrĂŒĂŸte uns dann im Haus und hat uns alles gezeigt. Der KĂŒhlschrank war bereits fĂŒr unsere Ankunft gefĂŒllt und es stand sogar ein richtiges Mittagessen fĂŒr uns bereit. So sind wir bisher noch nie begrĂŒĂŸt worden. Vielen Dank, Jennifer! Marie-Lordes, die HaushĂ€lterin, kam jeden Tag (außer Sonntag) und hat ein bisschen Ordnung in unsere Schuhreihe gebracht ;-) Sie ist die gute Seele und am schönsten ist ihr fröhliches Lachen! Man kann Marie-Lordes auch fragen, ob sie fĂŒr einen kocht. Das Essen ist soooo lecker und gar nicht teuer! Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Es gibt einen kleinen Safe und eine Alarmanlage. Die Klimaanlage in den SchlafrĂ€umen sorgt fĂŒr die nötige AbkĂŒhlung in der Nacht. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine, die Musik macht, wenn sie fertig ist. In 5 min Entfernung findet man einen gut sortierten Supermarkt und eine sehr gute Pizzeria! Ein Mietwagen ist trotzdem unumgĂ€nglich, damit man die Insel auch kennen lernen kann. Links fahren ist gar nicht so schwer. Die Menschen auf Mauritius sind unheimlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir sind hoffnungslos verliebt in diese Insel und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder! Wir können dieses tolle Haus an diesem wunderschönen Strand uneingeschrĂ€nkt weiterempfehlen!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft direkt am Meer

Gepflegte Unterkunft. Nette und zuverlĂ€ssige Gastgeberin. ZuverlĂ€ssige Hausangestellte, gute Köchin. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der NĂ€he. Perfekter Ort zum Ausspannen. Verkehrstechnisch gute Lage fĂŒr AusflĂŒge.

Maison trÚs agréable dans un emplacement exeptionnel pour des vacances superbes !

Nous avons passĂ© des excellentes vacances avec ce sĂ©jour dans cette maison trĂšs agrĂ©able, calme et trĂšs propre , parfaitement Ă©quipĂ©e et disposant d'un emplacement exceptionnel avec un accĂšs direct Ă  la mer et un jardin ombragĂ© devant la maison. La plage est trĂšs belle et agrĂ©able pour la baignade et la natation. Les couchers de soleil dans l'ocĂ©an indien sont magnifiques. L'accueil par la propriĂ©taire a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs agrĂ©able et chaleureux avec la communication d'informations utiles pour le sĂ©jour. Nous avons aussi pu dĂ©gustĂ© des plats typiquement mauriciens grĂące aux trĂšs bonnes preparations de plats de Marie-Lourdes. Nous avons Ă©galement fait notre propre cuisine en achetant du poisson aux pĂȘcheurs situĂ©s juste Ă  proximitĂ© au retour de leur pĂȘche. Les commerces et arrĂȘt bus sont trĂšs proches. Ce qui nous a permis de visiter facilement diffĂ©rents villages de l'Ăźle et d'aller sur diffĂ©rents marchĂ©s locaux. Nous recommendons trĂšs vivement cette location !

Vacances de rĂȘve

Nous avons passĂ© une semaine de rĂȘve dans ce gĂźte " les pieds dans l'eau". Il est spacieux, bien Ă©quipĂ© et trĂšs confortable et nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© la connexion internet ainsi que le tĂ©lĂ©phone qui nous a permis de rester en contact avec la propriĂ©taire qui n'a pas manquĂ© de prendre de nos nouvelles et nous conseiller durant le sĂ©jour.La superbe plage de Trou aux Biches est accessible depuis le jardin et les restaurants et commerces sont Ă  proximitĂ©. Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© les services du taxi proposĂ© par Mme Fleurot . Il nous attendait Ă  l'aĂ©roport et nous a permis de rejoindre la location sans souci. À notre arrivĂ©e en soirĂ©e nous avons eu la surprise de trouver un excellent repas prĂ©parĂ© par Marie Lourdes, qui nous a d'ailleurs fait dĂ©couvrir sa cuisine tout au long de la semaine. Sa bonne humeur et ses bons conseils nous ont ravis. Nous recommandons cette location sans retenue et nous y reviendrons sans hĂ©siter si nous revenons sur cette Ăźle de rĂȘve

Location parfaite

Nous gardons un trÚs bon souvenir de notre séjour; cette location y a grandement contribué. La maison est conforme au descriptif et aux photos. La vue est magnifique, la terrasse est trÚs agréable et le jardin "pied dans l'eau" est tranquille et idéal pour admirer les couchers de soleil. Bruit des vagues pour nous bercer et chants des oiseaux pour nous réveiller... on a apprécié. N'oublions pas Marie-Lourdes qui vient entretenir parfaitement la maison et qui nous a préparé de délicieux plats locaux que nous étions ravis de trouver le soir aprÚs nos journées découvertes de l'ßle. Et merci à Jennifer pour tous ses bons conseils, depuis la navette transfert aéroport-villa jusqu'aux suggestions de promenades ! Oui, nous vous recommandons cette location ! ! !
