Our unique converted farm house dates back to 18th century and is a charming mix of stunning Country side set in 80 acres with traditional features matched with a high-end contemporary twist. With luxury carpeting and granite flooring throughout, a bespoke Clive Christian luxury kitchen has everything you need with an additional dining setting in the large comfortable living room in with a 75” TV

Bathrooms have fully granite & tiled walls & floors with a large powerful Jacuzzi bath made by “Jacuzzi”themselves and separate luxury rainbow showers. We provide bath robes, large heavy weight Egyptian cotton towels & slippers.

This is our largest 4 bedroom house filled with authenticity, warmth and character. We pride ourself in quality beds & pristine high thread count bedding amongst fine dinning and glass wear.
We welcome children & infants and have everything you will need including a new outdoor children’s area, our cottages are extremely comfortable both inside & out.

We are Situated in the heart of Scotland, with beautiful views of the Scottish country side, access in 6 minutes to the M74 with Glasgow, Prestwick, & Edinburgh airports easily accessible, the stunning Loch Lomond & Trossachs, or just extensive shopping in Glasgow with museums, art Galleries & Resturant’s……..

Stirling Castle, golf at famous Royal Troon, a wide range of local activities incl fishing, quading, hiking or horse riding. Our charming village with Tudor style coffee houses & crafts, we are a perfect base to retire back to after a busy day exploring the delightful area of Scotland.

We host over Scotlands only Balloon fest in August each year.

Please can you put all trash in the outside bin, we are awaiting our new recycle bin, so meantime everything goes in to the same one and we take it from there.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Only those booked into the property may enter without prior agreement. No smoking policy inside the cottage.

Super stay.

A wonderful stay visiting family and friends in and around Glasgow. House was super if a little quirky (boars head /antlers) and had everything we needed. I would say you do need a car but Strathaven has plenty of shops as well as a super bakers in Taylor’s. Hosts always ready to help. 👍

Family Retreat

Staying in this this country house was great for what we were looking for. We have extended family in the area and this was a good location to move around and see them from. The house was great and spacious with lots of room for my family and in-laws. If I could make any recommendations, a booster for the wifi so it would work better in the main living room and maybe a better description regarding the barbeque in the listing as we were not prepared with charcoal. That could be on us as well though. All in all, Yvonne was an amazing host and if you are looking for a country retreat, I would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely home, with some limitations

The house was spacious, comfortable, warm, and easy to stay in. The host and the staff, as well as the welcome, were lovely and accommodating. They left wonderful goodies for both the children and the adults. The limitations went to function. The kitchen is pretty, but it has only a bar sink, not very useful for washing up. The stove and microwave could benefit from instruction manuals. The hot water was finicky. And the internet service was 3 MB (somewhat slow) and intermittent (but that could have been a provider, not a house, issue). All in all, we'd stay again because it was such a comfortable place, despite the limitations.

Chill out weekend

Booking experience was excellent. The host was extremely prompt and helpful when I asked numerous questions. The property was fantastic and just what myself and family needed for a relaxing weekend. My 4 year old granddaughter loved the toys and surprises left for her as we did with our welcome gifts. The host was the most friendly, welcoming and kind person who has thought of every comfort you could possibly think of. We will most definitely have a return visit.
