Claudette’s home is really nice. It’s located right in the center of Vendome and all the nice bars and restaurants are within walking distance. The house has all the basics and you can enjoy the nice garden. Claudette is a great host with a lot of great tips for Vendome and the surrounding area. We would love to come back one day!

Tweede verblijf in Vendome

Vendome is een heerlijke stad, zeker als je in dit appartement midden in het centrum logeerd. Alles is makkelijk bereikbaar, er zijn veel bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving.De gastvrouw is erg vriendelijk.Wij waren hier voor de tweede keer en hebben het laatste deel van de fietstocht langs Le Loir richting Bonneval gereden. Prachtige dorpen, kastelen glooiend valeitjes. Ook nu hebben we weer erg genoten.

Marvellous court

Een heel sfeervol en met smaak ingericht huis met voldoende ruimte en met alles wat je nodig hebt. Prima plekjes buiten in de court om te zitten in zon of schaduw. De gastvrouw woont in een groot huis in landhuis-stijl aan de andere kant van de court. Ze is een geweldig aardige vrouw die je helpt en een praatje maakt als je dat wilt en je met rust laat als je dat wilt. Het voelt dus goed in de court. Buiten de poort sta je tegenover het stadhuis en is de rest van het mooie centrum rondom. Kortom dit is wat je hoopt tegen te komen als je de advertentie leest.

Helle, wunderschöne Wohnung mit französischem Flair

Diese Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll im französischen Stil eingerichtet und blitzsauber. Man befindet sich inmitten der kleinen, schönen Altstadt und kann trotzdem im Garten die Ruhe genießen. Das Gepäck kann man direkt vor der Wohnung ausladen und dann auf einem nah gelegenen Parkplatz gebührenfrei parken. Das erklärt einem dann der sehr nette Vermieter, der jederzeit ansprechbar ist. Wir waren sehr zufrieden :)

Fantastisch verblijf😊

Wat een heerlijk appartement, we kregen veel tips. Vendome is heel gezellig, mooi centrum leuke terrassen en heerlijke restaurants mooie parken. Wij hebben bij Morris gegeten, aanrader! Verder hebben we genoten van muziek en exposities. De fietsroute langs Le Loir is prachtig en afwisselend. Kortom een perfecte vakantie week!

Fijn verblijf

Hoewel het verblijf werd overschaduwd door het slechte weer, bleef er genoeg te beleven in en rond Vendôme. Een omgeving die wij goed kennen. Onze gastvrouw en -heer waren zeer behulpzaam en hun advies zorgde voor nieuwe verrassingen. Zeer rustige plek in het historische centrum van de stad.

Wundervolles Stadtdomizil

Wir haben ein ruhiges Haus mit Garten mitten in der Stadt gesucht und es in diesem Haus auch gefunden. Es liegt in einer verkehrsberuhigten Strasse nur wenige Minuten zu Fuss von der Innenstadt entfernt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es gibt sogar eine Spülmaschine. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben viele Tipps bekommen, unter anderem über kleine Kirchlein in der Umgebung und gute Restaurants. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten auch an der Loire sind mit dem eigenen Auto leicht und schnell erreichbar. Besonders die Märkte der Umgebung haben es uns angetan. Der Freitagsmarkt in Vendôme lohnt sich absolut, incl. eines Kaffees im Anschluss an den Markt. Und die Boulangerie ist auch um die Ecke. Wir können das Häuschen auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Overall, the property was great but the second bedroom in the roof wasn’t ideal because of the hot weather and the sloped roof. But having said that, downstairs was lovely, clean and well equipped. Beautiful cottage in a great location run by a lovely family.

Sehr schöne kleine Wohnung, total ruhig gelegen, trotzdem mitten in der sehr reizvollen kleinen Stadt. Die Vermieter, die gegenüber im Haupthaus wohnen ( beide Häuser sind durch den gemein samen Garten verbunden und von einer gemeinsamen Mauer umgeben) sind wirklich ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben uns zahlreiche Tipps für Besuche, Restaurants etc gegeben. Wir haben die zwei Wochen dort sehr genossen.

Lovely back-house in Vendome

Our stay was very nice. We loved the little town, although we spent a lot of time on the road exploring. The lodging was a nice size, the garden area (between the back-house and the main house) is lovely. We were there in late Sept. so it was a bit cool to sit out much. In warmer months, it would be a perfect spot for an evening glass of wine. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen small but perfectly functional. The shower in the bathroom was quite an experience - no separation between the shower and the rest of the room. No step in or enclosure - just a drain. After the shower, you use a floor squeegee to pull the water back into the shower "area" and drain. It was weird at first, but at the end of our week, I really liked it. It allowed for a large, comfortable shower in an otherwise tiny area. The only complaint is the wifi was non-existent. Every once in a while we'd get a weak signal, maybe enough to get a text out or, if lucky, a web page open. Then it would go away. The modem was in the main house and the signal just did not make it to the back-house. We used a TON of data that week. But, other than that - it was a lovely stay.

Perfect could not wish for more.

The property is in a perfect location a few short steps to the town center. It is quite and there is parking close by. Everything about the property is 100% , spacious, private and immaculate. The host are very helpful and went way beyond what was expected to make our time there very enjoyable. I will be back and 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for accommodation in the area.

Charme und Friedlichkeit

In Vendôme kommt man schnell zur Ruhe. Das alte, schöne, historisch reiche Städtchen entspricht ganz dem Charme dieser Wohnung, die im Zentrum und doch von allem Verkehr abgewandt durch ihren Garten bezaubert. Die Stimmung der Bilder entspricht der Wirklichkeit. Das Domizil ist bestens geeignet, das kulturreiche Tal der Loire kennenzulernen. Das Ehepaar Delattre sind zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Sie haben die Ferienwohnung ansprechend ausgestattet und stehen einem, falls nötig, mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.
