One bedroomed converted barn suitable for couples or families, there is a double bed and two single beds in the large bedroom with its own ensuite shower room.
La Grange is in a small hamlet and surrounded by woodland and 50 metres from the River Sarre, a beautiful location and fantastic countryside. You can walk for hours in the surrounding woodland without seeing another person on safe and designated paths. Only a 10 minute stroll to the village of Melrand with its boulangerie, grocery store, butchers, bars creperie and an excellent restaurant, one of the best in the area.

Ein sehr schöner Urlaub

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in dem sehr gemütlichen Häuschen in dem an nichts fehlt. Martyn und Jenny sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber und insbesondere in ungewöhnlichen Situationen (defekte Autobatterie) stehen sie mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Eine tolle und erholsame Woche. Wir kommen wieder.

Gute Zeit in Frankreich

Wer die absolute Ruhe mag, der ist hier richtig. Ein perfektes Örtchen, von wo aus wir unsere Tagesausflüge gestaltet haben. Der untere Bereich des Hauses ist recht klein, dafür hat man auf dem ausgebautem Dachboden reichlich Platz. Besonders fanden wir die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft unseres Gastgebers, das halt alles supergut funktioniert. Rundum, wir würden es wieder buchen. Vor allem mit Hund, für den es rundherum so viel Raum gibt.

Great hosts, great location... quiet.

This is a well maintained property sitting across the road from the river and endless forest walks. Melrand with bakeries, shops and very good restaurants is a five minute walk. Quiet and peaceful.

Petit gîte pour deux

Gîte convenant à un séjour au cœur de la Bretagne. Au calme. Proche charmant village. Dans petit hameau de quelques maisons. A une heure de la mer et des grands axes. Hôtes sympathiques très discrets. So british ! Beaucoup d'escaliers genre meunier, chambre et sanitaires a l'étage. Pour deux personnes bien mobiles. Equipements suffisants, sans superflus. Pas de documentation touristique. Manque un jardin clos pour le chien. Mais belle décoration florale. WiFi et réseaux très faibles à l'intérieur. Ne devrait pas être mentionnés dans les possibilités équipant le gîte. Bien pour séjour de quelques jours.

Très joli petit gîte isolé pour se ressourcer... Martyn est charmant, souriant et discret tout en étant disponible si besoin. Une toute petite réserve sur la qualité de la connexion wifi parfois très faible. Bon rapport qualité prix. Je le recommande. Jean pierrre.
