Traditional materials of Tuscan architecture, such as wooden-beamed ceilings and rustic terracotta-tiled floors, are the characteristics of this three-storey home, originally a 13th-century watchtower, which has internet wi-fi connection, a living area with satellite TV and a well-equipped kitchen. Outside the property is surrounded by a garden with swimming pool that, thanks to its hill position, offers a breathtaking panorama.

External Area and Swimming Pool
The house stands on a well-tended lawn, dotted with olive trees, which slopes gently downward for about 50 metres to the pool with its unparalleled view of some of Tuscany’s loveliest hills. The fully-fenced-off rectangular pool with external shower measures 6 x 13 metres by 1.5 metres’ depth. Various areas in the garden invite guests to relax outdoors such as, under a spreading tree, an area equipped for open-air dining with a table and a barbecue.Interior
The ground floor consists of a dining room with fireplace (decorative only) from which 3 steps lead up to the living area, to a smaller living room with satellite TV, to the well-equipped kitchen with fireplace. On ground floor there is also a laundry room and 1 bathroom with shower. From the living room a staircase leads to the first floor with 4 double bedrooms e 3 bathroom with shower. A spiral staircase leads to the tower, on second floor, with 1 twin-bedded room open on the staircase, suitable for children.

Casale Tignano is set on the road leading to the tiny, captivating hamlet of Tignano in the hills above the town of Tavarnelle in the open Tuscan countryside.

The house is equipped with Wi-Fi Internet access (The wi-fi signal is only suitable for browsing and emails), laundry room with washing machine, ironing board and iron, screens on the windows, ceiling fans in the first-floor rooms, central heating.

The rental price includes final cleaning, weekly changes of bed, bath and kitchen linens, Wi-Fi Internet access, 1 baby bed and highchair. On request and to be paid on the spot: a personal cook, cooking lessons, housekeeping services, babysitting.

Important Information
The swimming pool is open from 29/04 to 30/09. The holiday home is detached on three sides and independently accessible from the exterior but there is a small apartment also on the property with a permanent resident who will not have access to the pool or gardens. Only small pets are allowed upon payment of 50 Euros/pet/week. Activities and Attractions
Due to the position Casale Tignano is an excellent vacation choice for those interested in alternating rest and relaxation with excursions to such famous towns and cities as San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence and Siena. The property is set in the heart of a splendid rural area marked by vineyards, olive groves, woodlands, small lakes and a host of trails for pleasant walks and/or mountain bike excursions.
