This extremely well presented lodge is situated in the grounds of the old Shannon Oaks Hotel & Country Club which is under reconstruction. Die Lage der Lodge ist perfekt für Ausflüge. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und trotz der Nähe zum Ort sehr ruhig. Die Lodge ist schon älter, liebevoll und großzügig eingerichtet. Die Gastherme und die Lüftung in den Bädern ist altersentsprechend relativ laut. Wir waren zu 6 Personen dort und hatten ausreichend Platz. Einzig ein paar Handtücher mehr wäre schön gewesen. Wir würden wieder hinfahren.

We enjoyed an excellent holiday in Bill’s lodge in Portumna. The lodge was spacious and spotlessly. There was plenty of green space to enjoy and for the kids to burn off some energy. The lodge was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. We used the lodge as base, and did many local activities - such as paintball in Pallas, the forest park in Portumna, Derg Isle kayaking, petting farm, Birr Castle & Playground; further afield we went to baysports in Lough Ree and surfing in Lahinch. All in all, a great holiday and would strongly recommend the Lodge for a family holiday.

Contact with host was excellent, property excellent also for 6 adults and 2 dogs. Because we had no access to the App, we did not have access to what items were actually at the property.. eg coffee maker, hairdryer etc so as to know what to pack.. But excellent apart from that

Very quiet and family friendly area

The house is very comfortable and well suited for a big group. The area is beautiful and perfect for holidays. The live music at the local pubs very fun. The service was excellent. We had a small problem with the hot water and was fixed in a few hours.

House could accmodate a large group easily. Loved location near Lough Derg and good central Ireland experience All essentials were there for cottage stay but House was a bit worn. A picnic table or other outside furniture as well asInstructions for foreign visitors for TV and washing machine were needed. Dana was our point person and she was great. Once the hotel next door is renovated this place will be a must to stay in! Up stairs hallway bathroom shower needs to be adjusted Overall a great stay Nice neighbors
