Luz de Sol is a fantastic newly built beach side villa 25 meters from the beach

The magical island of Majorca is where this stunning newly built villa is situated and is opposite the beautiful beach of Cala Sa Marjal,in Costa de Los Pinos, Son Servera. The entrance to the villa is through a large gate with inside parking, if required. The villa is situated just outside of the small resort of Cala Bona on the East coast of Mallorca. Once a traditional fishing village, Cala Bona has retained its original charm and remains a small working harbour and plenty of good bars and restaurants. The villa has 4 bedrooms all en suite with an additional guest bathroom. It has been built to a very high specification with marble floors, under floor heating, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen and separate laundry room. The main lounge has a wood burner, dining table, two settees and two armchairs; four large windows open up to the garden and pool area. There are another two living rooms which include a library/reading room with views of the mountains and beach and an upstairs sun room with a vaulted beamed ceiling with entrance to two terraces which boasts 360 degree views of the Levante Mountains, Son Servera Golf course and the beach. There is a fully equipped kitchen which features an island with seating area for more informal dining. The bedrooms include one double bed, two with king size beds and one room has two single beds. Three of the bedrooms are at the rear of the house, each room having double doors which open to a private area, with a stunning view of the mountains. All bedrooms are ensuite. The main bedroom overlooks the pool and has views to the beach. This bedroom, also en suite, has a bath as well as separate larger shower. There is a large 12 meter swimming pool, with sun loungers and sun shades. The villa is within 10 minutes walking distance to Son Servera golf course. There are two televisions, internet enabled and wifi. There are various terraces with outdoor dining tables. A travel cot and high chair can be provided. Bathroom towels are provided. Beach towels are not provided . With the benefit of underfloor heating this villa can be used all year round with excellent golfing. Golfers will associate the name of the town of Son Servera with the local golf course; Son Servera Golf is Mallorca’s second oldest course and opened in the 1960's. In 2012 the course expanded to 18 holes. Diving fishing and walking and cycling around the Island are easily accessible from this location. This is a wonderful holiday home on a magical island.

Incredibly relaxing beach house with beautiful pool

My wife and I and two university aged adult kids just spent 4 nights at this beautiful villa. We really enjoyed hanging out by the pool and the short walk across the street to the beach. There are some great restaurants nearby and a beautiful beach side community (including a small grocery market nearby). The villa is very spacious with large bedrooms and bathrooms. We could have easily brought along another family or friends! We would highly recommend this villa and would definitely like to return.

Great house, great location

We spend a week last May at this superb house and had a fantastic time. With three kids (10,8,3) we couldn‘t have asked for more. The house is very spacious and very well equipped, especially playing stuff for the pool. The rooms are bright and they all come with ensuite bathroom, that made it easy with five people. Also the house is located just across the beach. Perfect. That was great, no car needed. Even restaurants are walking distance. All in all, we would definitely come back!

Fab holiday villa with the beach on your doorstep

Pauline and Bill are owners who care how much their guests enjoy their holiday. They went above to ensure we had the best time. We had family and friends share our holiday and everyone loved the villa, the pool, the beach and surrounding areas. We had a month in this fab villa and would suggest a car to ensure you see all on offer, albeit the bus is available on the doorstep. We found some great hidden gems. Family bliss

First and foremost a huge thank you to Pauline and Bill whose warm welcome and thoughtfulness to there beautiful home was outstanding. The house and location is faultless a stones throw from the beach and walking distance to restaurants yet set in a calm and tranquil position. The house itself is superb with all modern amenities and beautiful decor. We were a party of seven aged between 70and12 and made full use of the large swimming pool, there is no better sound than childrens laughter and this was in abundance as our grandchildren played in the lovely pool. We have stayed in several properties from various sites but this stay has been far the best, be reassured who ever had the pleasure of staying here in the future will not be disappointed.

Family birthday celebration holiday

This is a super Villa. Very well appointed, clean, comfy beds, great showers, amazing pool, and terraces. Living area was enjoyed to play cards in the evening, or a bit of down time for our grand daughters to watch tv, when it was too hot, air conditioning kept them cool. Everything you needed in the kitchen, utensils, crockery, and cutlery. Spacious efficient fridge/freezer. Dishwasher a godsend! We all had the most relaxing, and enjoyable time. Pauline was very prompt, and helpful with answering questions, before arrival. Hazel the housekeeper was lovely. Pool cleaned without intrusion. Fabulous location. Thank you for everything.

Wonderful!

Everything about the property and about our hosts, Pauline and Bill, was just terrific. Their home is beautiful and sparkling clean, and full of simple, elegant touches like lovely linens and stylish outdoor furniture. The location next to a beautiful beach that is less crowded than some of the more touristy ones was perfect. Several cute restaurants and a nicer- than- average Spar grocery (small but more gourmet, and with a very nice wine selection) are within walking or biking distance, as well as a hotel with a lovely bar with views out over the ocean. We especially loved sitting out on the upstairs terrace near sunset, having a glass of wine and listening to the tinkling of the sheeps' bells while they grazed. The swimming pool is enormous and totally fabulous - our kids spent hours splashing about. It was really nice that there were plenty of pool toys, too, so we didn't have to run out and spend a bunch of extra money on items we'd just have to leave there (although we did leave boogie boards for the next lucky family!)! I really can't say enough great things about our hosts and their home - it is obviously a labor of love!

Summer holiday

We had a fabulous time in the villa. It is an amazing space, there is loads of room, bedrooms are perfect and we particularly liked the little nooks around the property to sit and enjoy a quiet drink. The pool is great - large enough for a proper swim and there were loads of inflatables and the like to play with. The beach is literally across the road - we tended to use the pool but it was nice to swim in the sea every so often. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance - we enjoyed Davide's in particular. We also managed a game of golf - the course is 5 minutes walk and is immaculate. Overall, a great holiday was had by all the family and we are looking forward to coming back

Amazing villa!

This villa was ideal for our group of 9 which consisted of 5 adults & 4 children (age range 10 years to 4 months). Excellent accommodation with everything you would need inside. Lots of lovely sitting areas around the property in the sun or shade depending on what you fancied. The pool was so big and the children and adults alike loved swimming in it! There were lots of sun beds dotted around to so a large group like ours had plenty of space. An absolutely beautiful location between the beach and the hills. So picturesque! A little village close by with a few lovely restaurants & a wonderful deli style supermarket but busier resorts just up the road if that’s what you want. We loved sitting up on the terrace at night and watching the sunset listening to the bells on the goats in the fields behind. Wonderful hosts. Very prompt communication & very willing to help with any problems we encountered including driving up and sourcing us a taxi when our own didn’t show up for the airport. Will definitely be back!

The location was great, Restuarant on beach was a bust, unless you are local. Rooms were great. Kitchen needs some cooking utensils and some cutting knifes. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

Das Objekt ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber bis auf kleinere Probleme ging alles gut. Es sollten nur mehr als 2 Abtrockentücher für 1 Woche bei 8 Personen zur Verfügung stehen. Auch sind die Handtücher etwas älter und sehr hart.

Wunderschöne, liebevoll eingerichtete und gepflegte Ferienvilla

Es gibt fast nur Positives zu berichten! Es handelt sich um eine wunderschöne Villa mit einer sehr komfortablen Ausstattung und sehr viel Platz. 4 Schlafzimmer vorhanden, alle mit eigenem Bad en suite. Das absolute Highlight ist der Außenpool (ca. 5 x 12 m). Direkt gegenüber liegt ein Strandabschnitt und fußläufig (ca. 900 m entfernt) ist ein kleiner Supermarkt für die kleineren Einkäufe vorhanden. Sehr schöne im oberen Stockwerk gelegene Terrasse mit Ost- und Westblick. Einziges kleines Manko ist die zwischen der Villa und dem Meer liegende Straße, die leider zu einem Großteil des Tages relativ stark befahren ist. Dadurch wird die Idylle ein wenig gestört und recht viel Staub aufgewirbelt, was aber dem insgesamt sehr positivem Gesamteindruck kaum trübt. Die Besitzer der Villa (Engländer) sind sehr nett, engagiert und hilfsbereit. Bei jedem Problem wurde uns sofort geholfen. Für uns absolut empfehlenswert.

Why they chose this property

Having bought a piece of land several years ago we commenced building in 2012 and completed the build at the end of 2016. My husband and I both work in the UK and we project managed the build ourselves,along with our architect. We are more than happy with how this turned out as we have never been involved in building from scratch before. However, the land, in a stunning location, had to have a very special house built on it , and I think we have achieved this.

What makes this property unique

The unique benefit of this property has to be the close proximity to the beach, amazing views and large swimming pool; Plus all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.
