everything Washington great in the apparent kust one important thing is missing because of the weather in Provence during the sommer time. Air conditionning in the living room ansd in the two sleeping rooms. It s really too warm in those pieces if you want to sleep confortabily but for the rest, the appartment is rallye nice.
a beautiful village with very friendly elderly residents

A Lovely Accommodation and Part of Provence
Over the last eleven years we’ve arranged medium and long term
rentals for ten accommodations in Europe and the U.S. Our
three month rental of the two bedroom apartment in Villecroze
was special in terms of comfort, attractive furnishings, and
thoughtful attention to all practical needs--- kitchen ware, bath
supplies, washer and dryer, comfortable bed, living room, heat,
and wifi. Too, the views from the apartment--- park on one side,
steps to the old village on the other--- were bonuses along with
the lovely selection of watercolors on most every wall. The small
village itself is charming, the region rich in natural and human
history, and all of our exchanges with the owner, Bob, and caretaker,
Annie, were as pleasant as could be. The experience was excellent
in all ways.

Character setting - excellent facilities
We stayed a weekend at the villa and loved it. The town was very cute and traditional - exactly what I imagined. From the moment we got there Annie made us feel very welcome. We managed with a lot of sign language and nodding. The facilities in the villa were excellent. Everything we needed. We had 2 wonderful meals in the town square. The distance to the coast was possibly greater than I imagined but there was plenty to do in the area if you don't feel like travelling. All in all a wonderful weekend.

A lovely stay at Maison Rose
Stayed at Maison Rose with my sister. We found it easily from the map supplied and with good parking close by. The apartment was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean & comfortable. If you have mobility issues though this appartment is accessed via a steep staircase. The old village was literally on our doorstep and what a village - like a pearl inside a shell! Just a short walk away, off the village square are the most amazing troglodyte caves. This area is full of stunning villages and thanks to the book and other good tourist information at the apartment we found most of them. Maison Rose is perfectly placed to explore this region. Villecroze is central to this area and within easy driving of many interesting places. Of the villages, Tourtour is a particular beauty. Aups had one of the best and reasonably priced restaurants in Auberge de la Tour. Also a must is a trip up to the lake and Grand Canyon of Verdon where you can take a pedallo ride into the gorge.

Delightful appartment
We really enjoyed our stay in this well appointed, clean and charming appartment. Everything was well organised and all our needs were met. We were attending a local wedding so didn't spend much time actually in the appartment, but the beds were comfortable, the bathroom very clean and we appreciated the use of a washing machine. While we didn't have the opportunity to do any cooking, the facities were there, and it was nice to have a dishwasher. Our local contact, Annie, was most obliging when we asked for more linen and all in all we had a very pleasant time.
