Holiday house in Vatos. 65 square meters. Ideal for families and couples. Children welcome.Environment: Picturesque, peaceful.The traditional house, in the area Vatos-Ermones-Myrtiotissa is located outside of the village to the West of the country, over the green Meadow Ropa at the foot of the mountain Ai Giorgi, near the river of Ermones and is probably the most warm and welcoming place for your stay, if you are interested in a holiday with Cycling, Hiking, but not only. Romantics enjoy peaceful and relaxing days and nights. Others can eat, coffee and drink in Vatos or in the famous village of Pelekas.
Very close to the house you can find some of the most famous beaches on the island.
Ermones, Glyfada, Kontogialos and Myrtiotissa (Naturist beach)).
Located 4km from the house is Aqualands Theme water park, one of the biggest in Greece.

We loved it

We spent almost two weeks in Elenas Home. It is a Sweet house with a very nice terrace and Garden. It is located on a Good Spot on the Island so yo reach almost all destinations within an Hour. There is Even a Cute Café up in the village. Elena is a really Sweet host and made US Feed at Home with her Konsens and generosity. We can recommend

Lovely stay

The house has everything you need and Elena is an amazing host. She went above and beyond for us to feel great and feel like home. Ermones beach is 15 min walking distance and the bus station is also 5 min from the house. The house was extremely clean and everything we needed was provided for us.

Elena’s home is perfect! It is so homely with everything you can need. Upon arrival, there were even some groceries waiting for us in the fridge and a home cooked meal! Elena is the best host and gave us lots of local recommendations as well as a list of all of the best Corfu beaches !! What’s more, Sundays are a special days as she cooks traditional Greek dishes and delivers them straight to the house - Wow, delicious !She is a welcoming host who is always happy to help and easy to contact during the stay - she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome :)The house itself is perfect for a family or a group of friends. The outside dining area is especially beautiful at dinner time to watch the sunset. The location is perfect, being 20 mins from Corfu Town and max 20 mins from the best beaches on the island. I highly recommend Elena’s place!

Traditional Greek home with everything you could need! The homeowner, Elena, welcomed us with open arms and spoiled us with wonderful Greek cooking. She is amazing & so warm & kind ! This is not a luxury home but met all our needs. It was clean and well stocked. There is an attached home where no one was residing and an upstairs apartment that had tenants that lived there full time. They would leave in morning and return in evening. They weren’t an issue but the steps to their apartment is outside the bedroom window so we could hear them. All considered, we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful time

Elena is a wonderful host! She made us food several times and she also was incredibly kind! The flat is quite nice and especially the kitchen is fully equipped and there is everything you need. The street right next to the house is a bit noisy sometimes, and I assume that it is even busier in peak season, but we didn’t bother too much as we weren’t there that much. The surrounding area is great. The mountain just next door offers some great views and it’s a nice hike up there, and you can also reach three beaches within about half an hour walking distance. And for exploring the island it is also a great spot as it takes about the same time to reach either the south or the north. All in all we had an amazing time at Corfu and enjoyed the calmness of the nature around us!

Elena is the nicest host ever. She simply takes amazing care of her guests. When we arrived, she had not only stocked the kitchen with a wealth of food - there was really nothing missing - but she had also brought warm food for us. We even enjoyed this a second time during the week we spent there. If you have any questions or concerns, she responds promptly! Otherwise the house leaves nothing missing. It is very lovingly furnished and everything you need is there. The apartment is in a house, there is a second holiday apartment next to it and Elena's cousin lives upstairs with his family. You have the entrance at the back, only the access is via the same property. The location is strategically located in the middle of the island, a beach and supermarket not far away. Nevertheless, having your own car is an advantage! Nearby is the village of Pelakas, where there are very nice and tasty restaurants. Overall, a really wonderful place to stay! A note: we were there in October. The beautiful terrace faces north and has no direct sun all day. This is an advantage in midsummer; in October it was quite fresh in the mornings and evenings.

Liebevolle Wohnung mit schöner Terrasse

Die Wohnung ist gepflegt und schön eingerichtet. Es gibt eine schöne Terrasse mit Aussicht, einem Vorgarten mit verschiedenen Pflanzen und schattenspendenden Bäumen. Es gibt einen Grill, Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme für den Strand.Unterhalb gibt es eine Straße, doch in der Nacht ist es ruhig. Die Wohnung passt in die natürliche Umgebung mit den Vogelstimmen und Grillen.In der Nähe gibt es kleinere Läden zum Einkaufen, am besten mit dem Mietwagen.Wenn man möchte, kann man den Berg hinaufwandern zu einer Kapelle mit sehr schöner Aussicht, besonders Abends vor dem Sonnenuntergang zu empfehlen.Die Lage in der Mitte der Insel und an der Westküste erlaubt das einfachere Erkunden der ganzen Insel. Bis zu dem Glyfada- Strand sind es nur ein paar Kilometer mit dem Auto, andere kleine Strände sind auch in der Nähe.Die Gastleute sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Séjour très agréable dans la maison d'Elena

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans la maison d'Elena. Sa situation à Vatos, sur la côte ouest de Corfou mais au centre de l'île nous a permis de rayonner facilement. La proximité des plages d'Ermones et Myrtiotissa (à 20mn à pied) est également un plus.Enfin, Elena est une hôte incroyable : elle nous attendus tardivement (jusqu'à minuit) lors de notre arrivée, elle nous emmenés à Corfou pour louer notre voiture à un loueur de sa connaissance (qui a été très efficace) et elle nous a cuisiné un délicieux plat avant notre départ (juste pour le plaisir de nous faire découvrir la cuisine grecque). Nous recommandons vivement !

Idéalement situé pour visiter l île tout en etant " à la campagne ".

Superbe. Tres vert et pittoresque. Maison a 15 min de Corfou. Epicerie et bar à Vatos trés bien. Le must, l acceuil d Elena. Elle est adorable, et généreuse. Tout le nécessaire des premières courses sont là et Elena nous a apporté a manger. Crique pour se baigner a 5 min. Rt aussi 2 autres ou l on peut y aller par des chemins de randonnees. Route passagère devant. Un logement a côté et un autre au dessus. esaplusieurs fois a manger quinzaine.

Ein perfekter Ort zum entspannen.

Wir waren 2 Wochen in Elenas Ferienwohnung und haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen. Die Gastgeberin hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen so dass wir uns direkt wohlgefühlt haben. Bei der Ankunft waren schon eine Lebensmittel und Getränke vorhanden, sodass wir am ersten Tag nicht Einkaufen mussten. Es fehlt an nichts in der Wohnung. Über Herd und Geschirrspüler bis Mikrowelle und Waschmaschine ist alles vorhanden. Elena war auch bei Fragen immer sofort zur Stelle. In den 2 Wochen haben wir Sie richtig ins Herz geschlossen. Einen besseren Gastgeber gibt es nicht. Die Gegend ist recht ruhig, und bis zum Stand Kontogialos sind es 5 Minuten mit dem Auto. Tankstelle, Apotheke und Supermarkt sind auch nicht weit weg. Vielen Dank an Elena für die schöne Zeit.

Geräumiges, sehr gut ausgestattetes Apartment und eine tolle Gastgeberin!

Wir haben unseren fast dreiwöchigen Urlaub in Elenas Apartment sehr genossen. Das Apartment war sehr geräumig und wirklich mit allem ausgestattet, was gebraucht werden könnte. Für Strandliebhaber ist die Lage optimal, da direkt drei herrliche Sandstrände in unmittelbarer Nähe liegen, aber auch für Kulturliebhaber mit Mietwagen ist Vatos ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen der ganzen Insel. Außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit war unsere Gastgeberin Elena, die uns zudem auch an mehreren Tagen mit traditionellem griechischem Essen und frischen Früchten aus dem Garten überraschte.

Wir wurden schon gleich mit einem leckeren Abendessen willkommen geheißen. Die Ferienwohnung ist super ausgestattet und Elena hat wirklich an alles gedacht: Tabs für die Spülmaschine z.B. und es war alles vorhanden, was man zum Kochen braucht. Das Kinderzimmer ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet mit Spielzeug für kleinere Kinder. Auch Reiseführer sind reichlich verhanden. Wir haben von Vathos aus die ganze Insel mit dem Auto erkundet und haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt. Auch zwischendurch hat uns Elena nochmal leckeres Essen mitgebracht. Wenn man mit Auto unterwegs ist und nicht direkt am Strand sein will, ist die Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen. Thank you very much, Elena!

Einfach sehr schön,die Wohnung ist Teil eines Hauses mit 4 Einheiten,wovon nur die unteren zwei vermietet werden. Die Terasse lädt zum Einnehmen der Mahlzeiten draussen nahezu ein,der nächste Strand ist ca. 1 km entfernt. Elena ist die Beste,Sie hat sich immer freundlich und zeitnah um unsere kleineren und grösseren Anfrage gekümmert.dazu hat sie uns alle zwei bis drei Tage mit selbstgekochten Mahlzeiten beglückt.Vielen Dank Elena,wir empfehlen Dich gerne weiter!!!
