In 2006, we came to a small olive grove in the village of Pylona and bought the building plot. Once the villa was completed, we came as often as we could until retirement allowed us to move here full time. With an average 330 days of sunshine a year, crystal clear waters all around this picturesque island, it was an easy decision. However, the birth of our first grand child in 2016 means we spend a lot more time back in the UK, hence the opportunity to offer the villa for holiday rental.
Why they chose this property
Our original search was in Lindos but when we were brought to Pylona, the setting won us over immediately and no more options were even considered. The tranquil and relaxing setting combined with the close proximity of a choice of fabulous beaches and larger villages gives the best of both worlds for a memorable holiday
What makes this property unique
Near to Lindos and other lively villages but a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day, being located at the end of a small cul-de-sac. The villa is geared for outdoor living with large private pool, barbecue and a choice of areas to relax and unwind. The property was developed as a home rather than a holiday villa, which is reflected in the facilities and equipment available. The villa offers a great base to explore all areas of this beautiful island, be it historically significant sites, outstanding beaches or spectacular inland countryside. There are a number of village festivals on the island, particularly in the summer months. A mixture of traditional Greek music, dance and food offers a chance to sample an authentic Greek experience. Ask Peter if there are any taking place during your visit. Peter is on hand locally to give exclusive and immediate attention to any queries you may have during your stay.
