Our holiday home is under 10 mins walk from Llandudno sea front and there are numerous walks in the area including exploring the Great Orme straight from the front door. The Ski Slope, Cable car & Pitch & Putt are all within 5 mins. For tired legs (it is hilly) the Tram runs past the house (Apr to Oct) and there is a bus stop 100 yards away. We fell in love with it for the view which took our breath away. Purchased in June 2016 the summer renovation project was hard work but we hope now everyone can enjoy the result.

Fantastic setting high up on the Orme edge of Llandudno overlooking the bay and the town.Check in was easy, via lock box. Kitchen facilities are good.Property was a decent size for three.Lovely, large bathroom.Loved the outside area where you could enjoy the view even more. Close to tram, if you need it.
We absolutely loved our stay at this charming apartment on the Orme hillside. The location was ideal—just far enough up the hill to feel peaceful and quiet, but still within easy walking distance to town, the promenade, and the Great Orme trails. The view from Bay View Terrace was stunning, especially in the mornings and evenings when the light hit the bay.The apartment itself was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and well cared for. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, and the layout made it easy to relax and feel at home. We appreciated the quiet surroundings—it truly felt like a retreat after a day of exploring Llandudno and the surrounding areas.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, scenic, and spacious place to stay while enjoying everything North Wales has to offer. We would happily return!
This property is very clean, well-equipped, comfortable and lovely with amazing views. The hosts communication is top-notch and there were no issues during our two week stay. We could not have chosen a better location for exploring all the area sights.beauty of Wales on our first visit.
We loved our time at Bay View Terrace! It was a perfect base for exploring around Llandudno and North Wales. The hill was steep but we had a feeling of accomplishment when we made it to the top! The house was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed taking the tram to the top of the Great Orme and exploring the copper mine there. We had good meals and drinks at the Kings Head, the Kings Arms, and the Queen Vic. We'd love to return if we're back in Wales!
What a comfortable home with amazing views. The kitchen and bathroom are spacious and lovey. The kids enjoyed watching the tram come up and down the hill. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds are quite firm!
comfortable stay and with great views. Hike up the hills much easier once I found the footpaths. Tranquillity in the evening enhanced the amazing views. Wonderful when only a few minutes from the town.
Great walks & lots to do in the area.
Unit was very clean and comfortable and washer/dryer was very helpful. Located on a steep hill, which 3 seniors walked up and down several times. Visited the copper mine on the Great Orme, which is very close. Good pub food at the Kings Head pub a few blocks down the hill. Amazing views.
Ideally situated for the town, local walks and attractions. Great views across the bay from front of property. Parking available on quiet road in front of property. Clean and comfortable well equipped house which is deceptively roomy. The only negative comment would be to put curtains in the front bedroom as well as very bright early morning.
This was our second stay here and I can't say enough good things about this place or about the owners. It's immaculate and absolutely beautiful!!! You're about halfway up the Great Orme looking down at Llandudno's North shore, so there are many stunning walks to take just outside your door. There's a taxi stand at the bottom of the mountain if you don't want the steep walk up or down (in front of the Palladium, on Gloddaeth St), or you can call one of the many taxi numbers provided by the owners. It's so peaceful and comfortable - it's a dream home for sure. We enjoyed amazing daily walks, cooking in the large kitchen, and sitting out in the front garden taking in the stunning views. We can't wait for our next trip!
We absolutely loved staying here and the view over Llandudno Bay looking towards the Little Orme was stunning. We loved the peaceful feel and watching the trams and the sheep and goats come and go. Easy to walk out and explore the Orme. We used the summit bus. The house itself was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable and the kitchen perfect for cooks and well equiped. We ate outside most nights at the garden table to take advantage of the view. The bathroom was a dream. Roger, the host, was gracious and very quick to attend to the issue of non collection of the rubbish. We can only highly recommend this lovely place to stay. Thank you so much.
Sincerely Angela and Simon
The property was as described, clean and comfortably furnished. The views were lovely and the location convenient. We had a very enjoyable week with plenty to do in close proximity. There were several good places to eat locally although you do have to climb the hill back after! But that’s in the property description, we saw a couple of people take a taxi back up so that would be an option. The local Llandudno attractions were fun to do and see too. We enjoyed our visit and would happily return. There’s still lots we didn’t get done and the views from inside the property are a treat. We would be happy to recommend to family and friends which says it all really. Thanks for hosting us and for the bottle of wine which we thoroughly appreciated.

Cottage in need of quite a few improvments rear bedroom needs a wardrobe a bed side cabinet also kitchen in need of more utensils not even a potato peeler frying pans not big enough for four guests freezer needs defrosting cottage needs a bit of TLC and a spring clean found a few cobwebs! We where puzzeld why we had to pay an a extra £48 for are two friends to join us for 3 days, when the cottage was for 4 people. On a positive note the location and views were stuning. A Jones
Don’t let the fact that I didn’t give the cottage a five star rating discourage you from staying at the Bay View Terrace Cottage. It was a nice place in a great location. The house is comfortable and has two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The rooms throughout the house are quite large. The bedroom with the twin beds doesn’t have a landing after going up the steep stairs. Since children might stay in that room, it would be great if a safety gate could be installed. Be prepared to wake up very early, because the blinds don’t keep out the light.
My major issues with the house: First, when I walked in the door I immediately saw religious literature, the sort intended to convert someone, on the mantle. I was very uncomfortable with this. I also found it strange that we were asked to replace any toilet paper we used. We had a few jokes around that one. The house did have tea, but no coffee. If you have a car, be sure to bring oil, milk, etc. We also were asked to wash the towels before we left and exactly one piece of washing machine soap was left under the sink. We were also asked to take the recycling and garbage out to the street, but no mention of which week to take it out. I wanted to sweep and mop the kitchen floor since we were in the house for 6 days, but there was no broom or mop. Anyway, there are more positives than negatives about the house, but I wanted to know there are few unusual requests. I wrote about the bus and walks nearby, but only 1500 word
This time we spent two and a half weeks in this beautiful cottage in Llandudno. Despite the low season, the weather in October was quite good. The location of the house convinces us every time. It‘s absolutly close to Great Orme and only a 10-minute walk away from Llandudno Pier. Fortunately, bus number 26 is also running again, so the way up the mountain wasn't a problem even for our six-year-old. There is so much worth seeing in the area. This time we went to Holyhead, Conwy (again of course ;-), Bodnant Garden and to the Snowdon. We really enjoyed our time in Llandudno and hope to come back soon.
This was such a lovely cottage with stunning views over Llandudno and the bay. It was such a calming and relaxing environment, no noise at all around us.
If walking into town it is only about a 10 minute (or less) walk downhill. A little longer uphill but that depends on your fitness levels! Either way it is impossible not to keep stopping and admiring the beauty of the scenery.
The cottage has all the amenities that you need and it is very clean and tidy. Roger and El- the hosts- contacted me regularly with information relating to the cottage beforehand and to ensure we had arrived.
We will definitely return to this gem of a cottage - perfect! Thank you Roger and El
Check in process was simple and easy, finding the location was simple and the house was amazing!!! Absolutely loved out little home away from home. Clean, beautiful and great views.
10/10 would definitely stay again!
The only watch out would be if someone in your group has mobility issues, this may not be the house for them.
Property is very well appointed with all mod cons. Stunning views , just be prepared for the long walk back up from the town. !! It's definitely worth it though !!
Had a great, short stay here. Property extremely well presented, maintained and very clean.
The cottage was larger inside than it appeared and had everything we needed. Much appreciated the welcome gift and host checking we had arrived and all was ok.
We hope to stay here again soon. Thank you.
It was a great place to stay. We loved the location and the view and there were great instructions once we arrived. Also brochures and books were helpful. Place was clean and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!!

My wife and I, our daughter and son live in Staffordshire and bought Bay View having fallen in love with Llandudno and North Wales as a holiday / weekend destination, there is just so much to do and we still have a long list of castles, walks and beaches yet to visit.
Why they chose this property
We looked at 100's of properties on line prior to purchasing Bay View as a holiday home. Although on first viewing the house needed a lot of work, the view took our breath away. We completed renovation in the summer of 2016 and are now able to enjoy the internal as well as the external view!
