This is a great house, it met all of the expectations we were given by the advert on the website. The place is really well appointed, everything in the house works exactly as expected. The communication with the owner was brilliant. We will definitely be using this place again if we can. We had a really lovely holiday. Thanks very much.
The property was as expected accommodating the 7 of us easily including 4 teenagers and 3 adults with sleeping on one floor and open living kitchen upstairs making everything comfortable. The Chalet is walking distance from the lifts in the old town of Les Brevieres which has a nice historical feeling compared to others towns in the area. Although you need 3 lifts to get up to the main skiing in Tignes / Val, this is simple and you're there before you know it. I'd stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Good overall but important issues with the agent / keys / access
We really enjoyed the lounge / kitchen in this chalet, which is very pleasant and has a great balcony. The beds were also unusually comfortable so hats off to the owner for that. The downstairs shower was unusable due to severe drain odour. The agents were a bit useless with that assuming throwing some cleaning fluid down the drain would fix a serious problem. This left us with one shower for 8 people, however, the hot water seemed to be limitless.
It was a good chalet overall but a bit of a squeeze for 8 in 3 bedrooms (3 children total).
It's reasonably good for lift access however the municipality did not maintain safe access on the village footpath with no gritting or gravel, so the long way walking down the road was preferable.
We only had one key for the garage and the agent did not sort out a spare. 1 key for 8 people is not very workable. I did not understand why we had no key for main door which would have given easier access to the funicular to reach the upper section of the village. I'm not sure if this door being blocked is compliant with fire regs.

Gracias.

Superb chalet, close to lifts
Lovely chalet, great facilities for self catering but also close enough to restaurants and bars. 2 mins down steps to the lift and great entry point fro Tignes/Val. Comfortable dining area and cosy lounge area with a real fire, thoroughly recommend this chalet.

A great holiday at Chalet Sirene
We have a wonderful holiday staying at Chalet Sirene. The apartment had all we needed, was well looked after and was very comfortable with English TV, washing machine and dishwasher.
Skiing in the Tignes area, even after Easter was great and the weather was glorious for most of the week. The lift in Les Brevieres was easily accessible and although the quickest route was quite steep, there is a lift in the village that takes you to the top of the village and you can then walk downhill.
The village amenities are also close by with a small supermarket, restaurant and bars. We really enjoyed being able to sit in the bars at the bottom of the slopes at the end of the day - in temperatures that approached 24 degrees.
All in all a great holiday and we hope to be able to go back next year.

Superb skiing
Chalet is fantastic, great access to slopes and totally blown away by the amazing skiing. A great week with the family, lots of fun eating together. Sore legs after hard skiing recovered in hot bath and comfortable surroundings.

Beautiful chalet. Spacious. Comfortable. Clean.
Great location in the idyllic village of Les Brevieres. Easy access to/from the main lift system either by foot or nearby lift. From Les Brevieres it was easy to explore the whole of the Espace Killy ski area - including Tignes, Val d'Isere, Le Fornet and the Grande Motte. With the added benefit of a car you can also add the nearby resorts of Les Arcs and Le Plagne. I would highly recommend Chalet Sirene and look forward to having the opportunity to go back before too long.

How's the serenity
We stayed at Chalet Sirene with our family over Christmas. My parents made the trip all the way from Australia and were not let down in any way. Tignes les brevieres is a great little village with nice restaurants, a great fun bar with live music and even a spa that you can head to after a long day on the slopes. My parents weren't skiing so it was the perfect place where we could have the best of both worlds - access to world class slopes only 50m away and a wonderful french alpine village that they could enjoy while we were out all day.
The chalet itself is great, it has a nice long wooden dining table for the whole family to eat meals together every night, a fire place that we could huddle next to after a long day on the slopes and fantastic alpine views from the front verandah. I had done plenty of research on this place before booking because I was worried about renting a private chalet but the owner Mike couldn't be more helpful. He was a genuine nice bloke who made sure all our questions were answered and we had everything we needed for our stay. If you want to get away from the ugly purpose built ski resorts but still want great skiing then this is for you. We already wish we could go back!

Chalet Sirene, January 2011
This was our second visit to Chalet Sirene (a month each time) and we enjoyed the almost ski-in ski-out facilities with car parking and plenty of space for ski gear. The skiing area is immense and varied and easily accessible using the Sache bubble and various chair lifts through Tignes and Val d’Isere up to the Grand Motte and Le Fornet glaciers. Our favourite coffee/drink stop was L’Ouillete above Val d’Isere – a gloriously cool restaurant with pink parasols and a beach bar feel about it. We also loved La Taniere on the Face run above Val d'Isere although it is challenging to get there. The chalet was always warm with plenty of hot water which is essential for a ski holiday. The dishwasher and washing machine were invaluable and much used, and having broadband was a bonus. The slow cooker was used often due to a lack of oven and it did a great job but remember to take an English/European adaptor so you can use it. The television is very outdated and the quality of sound is not very good. There is also a basic DVD player. Our granddaughter who lives nearby enjoyed playing with the games and books provided. There are restaurants a short walk down the hill - we liked the Armailly, Sachette and Bacal. We felt the Bouida was over priced although we only had a coffee there. If you feel like driving to Tignes, try the Clain d'Oeil which is amazing. The food is a picture and is fantastic. There is a small Sherpa supermarket in Les Brevieres for basic items, although we tended to drive to the Sherpa in Tignes Le Lavachet where we could park outside the door.

Family Ski Holiday Feb Half Term 2011
Good chalet in a good location. Stayed with wife and 3 kids (11, 15 and 17). Chalet accommodated us with ease. Easy access to the slopes (via a drag lift on the way back). Great access to the Espace Killy region and with very little queuing – which was a very pleasant surprise.
We have already booked Chalet for next year – so I guess this says all that needs to be said!!!

A little gem
Very sociable open plan living area with well equiped kitchen - though would have liked a conventional oven! Spent many a long evening in front of the log fire. The bedrooms were small but comfortable. It is situated far enough away from the centre of the village to be quiet, but near enough to walk to the bars, restaurants and lifts. The spa, within walking distance up the hill, was an unexpected luxury. The chalet was clean, warm with plenty of hot water. We will be back!

Great holiday, great little chalet
Great little chalet, the location is good for access to town and the lift. We had space to park the car, plenty of space for all of the skiing kit and a wonderful shared space for chilling out, cooking and generally doing all the good stuff in after a hard day on the slopes. A well equipped and comfortable chalet.

Look no further!
This was our groups second visit to this lovely chalet in Tignes Les
Brevieres and again we were not disappointed. The chalet itself is well
equipped, beautifully furnished with attention to detail, and the owner
Michael, extremely helpful.
It was great to have access to the steam room and outdoor hot tub and I would say the only downside of this chalet is that the bathrooms are not en suite but this is a small price to pay for an excellent value chalet; who wants to pay twice the price to stay in Val D'Isere?!....
Look no further for great skiing and a great chalet!
