About this property

Tropical Seaview is a peaceful gated community with a lovely 25mtr. pool+jaquzzi and nice Clubhouse with 'ping pong' and pool tables plus small gym and several books for guests use. Situated in non touristy coastal countryside
My house is a 2 storey villa with 3 double bedrooms, having solar powered heated water and Air Con. Equipped kitchen + outside gas 'Thai' kitchen. Covered veranda overlooks fishpond and garden with mango trees etc to give you shady comfort whilst relaxing.
A short distance from the beautiful beach, where Mr.Moo offers banana boat rides etc - many local restaurants around Pak Nam Pran area with seafood a speciality by the beach.
Wifi included. TV (for programmes via your 'laptop') with DVD Player and several DVDs for your enjoyment.
A lovely coffee shop, where you can while away some time gazing out to sea is along the next bay, in between swimming, walking and sunbathing time. We live nearby, so are always on hand to show you around and offer that little extra personal help to enjoy your time in this part of 'real Thailand'. I provide a laundry service for guests, so you can enjoy a real holiday. Automatic moped/scooters are the best way to enjoy exploring the local area, with quiet beach side roads. These - and cars - can be rented at good price. I can also arrange for car/minibus to meet you at Airport/Bangkok, so no problem in finding us.
Only extra is Electricity/water which are charged 'as used'. Towels/Linen changed weekly. 5000 baht damage deposit charged on arrival - hopefully never needed!!!!
Hua Hin is about 26 kms away and nice for occasional visit - night market, tailor, elephant riding, shopping mall, but always wonderful to return from hot, touristy 'concrete city' at the end of the day. We can take you there by prior arrangement. Many golf courses within 30/45 minutes, plus Sam Roi Yod National Park with its famous cave and Kuiburi National Park for the wild elephants not far.
As eating out in Thai restaurants is very reasonable, most guests dine out regularly, trying the various local food dishes and finish the day with a cool beer/glass of wine or gin and tonic.
We like to show our guests around the area, on arrival so you are aquainted with the beaches, shops, market, restaurants AND our favourite beachside coffee shop.

Amazing host and great house

Game is an amazing host. She met us upon arrival and showed us everything we needed to know about the house. She also took us on a tour of the area showing us where the grocery store is, helped us find/Buy initial supplies, where to get great food/coffee, and a market for fresh fruit. She went above and beyond helping us with transportation, shopping/tailor, elephant ride, and showing us around Pak Nam Pran and Hua Hin. By the end of our 2 week visit I felt Game is more of a friend than just a host and we are super grateful to her for sharing her home/rental and town with us. The house itself is also wonderful with AC to use as needed and I made a lot of use of the small office which was wonderful to have as a separate area to work in. My son loved his room, it was great for him to have his own bathroom and to also have the downstairs bathroom so we didn’t have to go up and down the stairs too often. We even had an extra room that went unused. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were especially grateful for the coffee maker. We used the community pool quite often rather than risk the many jellyfish in the water that happened to be numerous during our visit. The house is close to the beach, a couple of temples, and we even made it to an awesome cave temple with the motor bike/cart Game provided as a rental. The security at the gate of the community was always very friendly and we enjoyed saying hello as we left for, or came back from, exploring. The house doesn’t have laundry but a great place is close by and doesn’t cost too much. It’s actually easier than doing laundry yourself so you can really enjoy vacation and exploring the area. The house is further from Hua Hin than we expected but Game helped us get there when we needed to and it was nice being away from the hustle/bustle of the busy town. I would definitely recommend staying at Game’s rental anytime you visit the Pak Nam Pran area. We felt like we were experiencing real Thailand. Thank you so much for everything Game! We look forward to staying with you again if/when we had back your way.

Wir waren begeistert

Game und Ian sind ganz wundervolle, freundliche und sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Schon vor unserer Ankunft hat Game uns einen Transfer von Bangkok nach Pak Nam Pran organisiert. Wie wir ankamen waren Game und Ian vor Ort und haben uns begrüßt und alles gezeigt. Game hat uns sogar schon ein paar Kleinigkeiten zum Essen und Trinken organisiert und auch das kleine Moped stand vor der Tür, womit wir in den nächsten Wochen die Gegend erkundeten. Am nächsten Tag zeigten uns Game und Ian die Gegend, wo wir einkaufen und Essen gehen konnten. Wir unternahmen wunderschöne Ausflüge mit Ihnen und auch bei der Verlängerung unseres Visums haben sie uns sehr geholfen. Das Haus ist sehr schön, groß und sehr sauber und genauso wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Es befindet sich in einer bewachten Anlage mit Gemeinschaftspool. Der Strand ist mit dem Moped in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Wir haben viele Ausflüge zum Khao Sam Roi Yot Nationalpark gemacht. Der ist in 30 Minuten mit dem Moped zu erreichen. Fazit: Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen nächstes Jahr wieder.

Ian and Game are fantastic hosts.

The property and surrounding area fit perfectly with our needs. Quiet, variety of restaurants, non- touristy and safe. You did need your own transportation to get around, but Game and Ian took us on a tour and rented their motor bike with side car to us for a very reasonable rate. Petrol station is near by and is very affordable. Travelling around the area is safe with very little traffic and the conditions of the roads were great. At the time they were working on one of the roads but the rate of work was incredible to witness. If you are looking for an area of Thailand that is quiet and you just want to get away from it all, this is a place to be!

Superb house, great away-from-it-all location and fantastic hosts!

Firstly, I have to tell you about our hosts, Game and Ian. They really are there to make sure your stay is everything you hope it will be. Having enjoyed four weeks travelling in Thailand, we wanted our final 15 days to be totally chilled. Ian collected us from our previous location and brought us to our home-from-home, where we met Game. They then explained to us that our first day was taken care of, firstly taking us for lunch at the most fantastic little noodle shop (35 baht for noodles with pork and wantons and as much Thai tea as you want). From there it was a tour of the local sites, restaurants and cafes to give us a good idea of where we were. Later we were taken to a Sunday Night Market to sample......, well to sample anything that took our fancy and then to a little local bar for a few Changs. Now, the property. Three good sized bedrooms, a great living area (hardly used because we spent most of our time on the outside dining area), a fully functional kitchen, an en-suite to the main bedroom, a further shower room and a downstairs w/c/laundry room. Free wi-fi (nice and speedy!). There's a great pool and small gym/pool table room at the complex. All in all, a terrific location. Ideally, you could do with a motor scooter to get about. Never having used one myself, I decided to give one a try - maybe next time I'll manage to stay upright! Game and Ian had had managed to secure bikes for us though, and we made full use of them for getting to the beaches, the local cafes (you have to try Baan Pal Coffee! Ian and Game will show you where it is), local eateries (two of which are excellent and very close by) and the local massage shops. There's an ATM nearby also. The local beach is a dream - bath temperature water, white powdery sand, kite-surfing facilities close at hand (with instruction if required), and for the energetic, a walk up "Turtle Mountain". Relaxed is definitely the word to describe the area. There were further trips out with Game and Ian - different restaurants, local markets, a boat ride up the Pranburi River and to top it all, a great off-road scooter ride into the local area. If you need a change from the local beach, they'll take you to other little hidden gems. Without them and their local knowledge, and Game's Thai savvy, our holiday couldn't have been anywhere near as enjoyable. Would we go back? You betcha!

Ein wirklich wunderschönes Haus in einer ruhigen Gegend!

Wir waren für 3 Wochen in Pak Nam Pran in der Tropical Seaview Villa. Es gibt überhaupt nichts auszusetzen; die Vermieter Sununthaya und Ian sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen. Das Haus ist rundum sehr gut ausgestattet; es ist alles vorhanden, was einen gelungenen Urlaub ausmacht. Es gibt eine wirklich große Küche, ausgestattet mit allen Utensilien, für Hobbyköche sehr gut geeignet. Wir hatten für unseren Aufenthalt einen Motorroller gemietet, den man auch braucht, um zum Strand, zum Einkaufen usw. zu fahren. Gleich am ersten Tag unserer Ankunft haben uns Sununthaya und Ian mit der Gegend und den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vertraut gemacht; das war ein TOP-Service, den wir so noch nicht kannten aus unseren vorherigen Aufenthalten in Thailand. Danke schön noch einmal dafür. Das Haus befindet sich in einer abgeschlossenen Anlage, was sicherlich auch interessant für Familien mit Kindern ist, es gibt keine Durchgangsstrasse, nur Anliegerverkehr. Der Pool ist wirklich sehr schön und liegt direkt nebenan. Der Strand ist ein absoluter Traum für Spaziergänger, kein Massentourismus und am Wochenende nur Thaifamilien und Touristen aus Bangkok, die für ein paar Stunden kommen. Restaurants und Märkte sind alle mit dem Motorroller gut zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ideal für vier Personen Der Anbieter Fewo-Direkt hat sich mit der Weiterleitung der von uns getätigten Zahlungen an den Vermieter fünf Monate Zeit gelassen eine absolute Frechheit bei Ferienantritt Januar 2018 hatte der Vermieter noch kein Geld erhalten erst gegen Ende Februar 2018 !!! Gut hatten wir unsere Zahlunsbelege dabei. Wir haben das erste und letzte mal bei Fewodirekt gebucht. MarieLouise Lehmann

I am Thai and Ian, who is retired, is English. We wanted to live in a peaceful coastal area where we can enjoy a good climate and 'real' Thailand were the local food is prepared and cooked by local people and most food, fruit and vegetables are fresh daily from local market at very reasonable prices. We found this area 9 years ago and have never looked back.

Why they chose this property

The 'villa' is nicely located near beautiful beaches. It is comfortably furnished and ideal for a relaxing holiday. The 25 metre pool is large enough to enjoy a real swim in and often available for use just by youselves. It is rather nice to enjoy a late afternoon glass (plastic) of wine in the adjoining jaquzzi.

What makes this property unique

The properties are of different styles and not all in a straight line and the Clubhouse and surrounding gardens are really quite beautiful. Tropical Seaview has a nice 'feel' about it. Having a Thai 'host' nearby provides that special opportunity of visiting local markets etc together and going just that little bit extra in learning about Thai food and way of life. Ian and I also have a lot of fun meeting new guests and especially seeing returning 'friends' from year to year.
