About this property

LE FAY: Chalet (Vanneau) on the edge of a pond surrounded by nature

We welcome you !
We will be delighted to welcome you in one of our five chalets, spread across an 18 hectare landscaped park.
You will be seduced by the harmony of the whole where my job as a landscaper allowed me to make the most of the original natural elements.
This resulted in the creation of two ponds (fishing authorized in no kill and reserved for our vacationers) and the promotion of natural spaces such as wetlands, characteristic trees.
You will discover the fauna associated with this type of habitat, of course preserved because we are an LPO refuge (Protective League of Birds)
Added to this site in September was the establishment of a natural swimming pool which will be operational this spring. These are natural filtering and oxygenating plants which ensure good hygiene of the place.
Within a radius of 25 km, you can enjoy the landscapes of the Jura as well as those of Southern Burgundy. Each of these two regions is also associated with a quality vineyard.
You can also go to Louhans market on Monday morning which is very picturesque and famous. You will visit the old town and its 150 arcades.
There is also a golf course and thermal spa in Lons le Saunier about ten km away.
Children can work out on the trampoline, share ping pong games or simply take advantage of their stay to discover the surrounding nature with curiosity.
We are fluent in English and pretty much get by in German!
LE VANNEAU:
Chalet of 35 m², planned for four people.
This cottage is the closest to the pond.
It is primarily intended for people with motor difficulties.
The kitchen has all the equipment: microwave oven, fridge, freezer, electric hob, and usual household appliances (coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle).
The interior fittings comply with PRM standards (access ramp, Italian shower, etc.)
In its design, we will find in addition to the lounge / kitchen area an adult bedroom with a 140 bed and a children's bedroom with two 90 bunk beds.
All this leads directly onto a terrace with a view of the pond.
You will have at your disposal barbecue, deckchairs…
The walkways leading to the pond were also planned so that each of us can have easy access.

Schöne Häußchen an Idyllischem Teich

der "Kiebitz" ist eines von 5 Häuschen auf einem sehr weitläufigen Gelände mit Wald, Schafweiden, Anglerteichen und Grillstelle. Über die etwas versteckte Zufahrt kommt man auf ein Gelände, das man zwar als sehr liebevoll angelegt erkennt, das aber trotzdem sehr natürlich wirkt. Die Rasenflächen um die Häuschen sind gepflegt, aber weit entfernt vom oft stilbildenden "englischen Rasen". Enten, Kröten, Eidechsen, Hasen und Eichhörnchen auf dem gesamten Gelände zeugen von einer gesunden Flora und Fauna. Das Gelände selbst liegt ca. 2 Kilometer entfernt vom nächsten Dorf, wo sich Bäcker, Metzger und Post befinden. Diese sind sehr gut mit den vor Ort zur Verfügung gestellten Fahrrädern zu erreichen. Die nächsten größeren Städte, Louhans und Lons le Saunier liegen 7 bzw. 17 Kilometer entfernt, sind mit dem Auto aber ebenfalls sehr gut und schnell zu erreichen. Dies Bedeutet für das Gelände, dass es doch sehr abgelegen ist. Dies macht sich durch das Fehlen von Lichtverschmutzung und Verkehrslärm deutlich bemerkbar - ich habe selten so gut und entspannt geschlafen. Die Region ist touristisch sehr interessant für Wanderer, Weinliebhaber, und alle die sich an schönen Landschaften erfreuen können, ohne einen echten Badestrand in direkter nähe haben zu müssen. Viele Schlösser und Burgen stehen in der Region zur Erkundung und Besichtigung offen. Die größten und am besten erhaltenen befinden sich jedoch zumeist in privater Hand, sind bewohnt und sind nur begrenzt zur Besichtigung geöffnet. Außerhalb der Ferienzeit von Juli bis Ende August sind diese nur selten dem Publikum geöffnet. Manche kosten auch Eintritt. Die Natur bietet in der Region aber auch sonst viele Sehenswürdigkeiten. Mit ca. 1 Stunde Fahrzeit erreicht man zum Beispiel viele der in der Region häufig vorkommenden Wasserfälle (z.B. Cascades du Herisson). Auch die Talsperre des Vouglon ist innerhalb dieser Fahrzeit erreichbar und einen Ausflug wert. Die Besitzer (Pierre und Jackie Antier) sind sehr nett und kümmern sich redlich um das Wohl ihrer Gäste. Die Häuser haben eine umfangreiche Grundausstattung, die kaum Wünsche offen lässt. Wenn dann doch zum Beispiel der Kinderhochstuhl oder die Fahrradluftpumpe fehlen, besorgen Pierre und Jackie diese sehr schnell. Die Waschmaschine steht zur kostenlosen Benutzung zur Verfügung, wie auch das riesen Trampolin und die Tischtennisplatte. Der neu angelegte Schwimmteich ist sehr schön. Leider war das Wasser bei unserem Besuch im April viel zu kalt.
