The property is getting on in years. The entrance area, which is not pictured, is a little off-putting. Then there's the railroad line directly in front of the house.
Today, the furnishings would be described as vintage style. Basically, there is a lot of what you need, but everything is a little worn. The beds are very soft and sufficient for us at max. 1.80m. The toilet in the main bathroom could do with a new lid, not very inviting. Dishwasher and washing machine are available and work. Cleaning products were also available, which was positive.
You can have different demands on cleanliness, we first wiped thoroughly and cleaned a little.
On the weekend of arrival it was still quiet, during the week the construction work on the construction site right next door continued with corresponding noise. The construction site has been going on for months and we would have expected at least some indication in the description of the property. The landlady was not prepared to make any concessions after we spoke to her.
In your own interest, please be careful with the fridge and toaster, there is something wrong with the connection, unless you like a slight tingling sensation.
On the positive side, it took us a little longer to arrive and yet it still worked out with the key handover, and the request for cold drinks for the first start was also complied with.
Next time we will choose a different accommodation.
