About this property

100 year old house with 5 bikes on the Noordhollands canal

The house has many original features, making it a very attractive and distinctive stay. Cozy breakfast together in the dining room, in the afternoon on the terrace enjoying the sun and at night drink in the lounge. Behind the former coal shed, which is occupied by the owner is a farmer ditch containing a rowing boat at your disposal.
There is also a pool in the garden of the owner, where you, if in operation, can swim between 10. 00 and 17. 00.
The cottage has modern bathrooms: one with bath, rain shower and toilet; the other bathroom with shower and toilet. Also there is a separate toilet. There are 3 bedrooms with box spring beds. The cottage is not situated very quiet, but very centrally located 15 minutes by bike from the center of Alkmaar, Schoorl and Bergen. You reach the sea in about 20 minutes by car. There are three parking spaces in front of the cottage. The cottage is connected to the owner's house, but there is plenty of privacy and a large sheltered private garden. The cottage is located next to the Noordhollands canal. On the other side of the canal there is a fairly busy traffic route. 200 meters away there is a mill, where you can eat or drink something.

Schönes Ferienhaus

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Einrichtung ist super. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird. Die überdachte Terrasse war windgeschützt und gemütlich.

Heerlijk weekend

Heerlijk weekend gehad. Huisje was netjes en goed geoutilleerd. Alles was er. De aanwezigheid van fietsen was echt een pre. Verhuurders zijn heel fijne nette mensen. We hadden prachtig weer en hebben genoten. Met vriendelijke groet Wilbert

Een bijzonder knus huis van alle gemakken voorzien. En wat werden we warm onthaald: bloemetje, paaseitjes, flesje wijn... dat maakt dat je je meteen thuis en welkom voelt.

Heerlijk huisje in de buurt van Alkmaar, van alle gemakken voorzien. Vriendelijke gastvrije eigenaar. Fietsen echt een meerwaarde, prachtige omgeving. Drukke weg viel erg mee!

Met 7 vrienden in het huis verbleven. Alles was prima. Een fijn ontvangst van Nico, zowel persoonlijk en door middel van een flesje wijn en mooie versnaperingen. Lekker biertje in de koelkast. Super gastvrij ontvangen. We hebben genoten. Bedankt!

Tolle Gastgeber

Sehr schönes Haus mit Pool. Mit den vorhandenen Fahrrädern kann man viele interessante Ziele, wie z. B. Alkmaar oder Bergen schnell erreichen. 3 Toiletten (davon 2 mit Dusche) sind auch für 7 Personen mehr als ausreichend. Das siebte Bett steht nicht in einem Zimmer, sondern offen vor den beiden im Dachgeschoss. Besonders zu loben sind die freundlich hen Gastgeber Nico und Jaqueline, die uns mit Ratschlägen und Tips den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gestaltet haben und immer ein offenes Ohr haben.

Perfect holiday

Or family of five loves North Holland. The mixture of sea, cycling in fresh air and visiting beautiful cities is just the perfect holiday for us. The house was a beautiful base for exploring beaches and cities. Jacqueline is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome. We loved the decoration of the house and it was at the same time very practical. We found everything we needed and more in the house. The seven bikes were a true added bonus. Our family stayed two weeks and we were all sad when we had to leave. It would be great to return one day

Schönes Haus und hübscher Gegend

Een heerlijk fijn en gezellig huisje

Een warme ontvangst, met een kaasje en een flesje wijn, sympathieke gastheer en gastvrouw, het huisje is gezellig en warm, met een heerlijke tuin. Slapen met het raam open is door nabijheid van verkeer dat helaas ook 'snachts doorgaat voor hele lichte slapers geen goed idee, maar na 1 nacht hoor je het niet meer. Super fietsen aanwezig om vanuit huis naar bijv Alkmaar, Bergen Schoorl te fietsen. Omgeving is prachtig en landelijk, kortom: een aanrader!

Groot en fijn huis, mooi gelegen om Nederland te bezoeken

Fijn huis, we waren met z'n 6en en er was plek genoeg voor iedereen. Van hieruit kan je mooi met de auto, fiets, of zelfs te voet de streek verkennen. Aardige eigenaars, fietsen ook beschikbaar. Heerlijk restaurant op 300 meter...

Oase zum Wohlfühlen in wunderbarer Gegend

Das Haus ist wirklich wunderbar! Zum Kochen, gemeinsamen Genießen und gemütlichen Zusammensitzen ist das Haus ideal! Die Gastgeber sind toll und geben sich sehr viel Mühe, so dass man sich wirklich zu Hause fühlt. Ausstattung ist super, Lage toll, um die Stadt Alkmaar und den Künstlerort Bergen, sowie die Küste und die Dühnen zu erkunden. Eine rundum tolle Location!!

sehr schönes und liebevoll gestaltetes Haus.

Ich kann das Haus absolut empfehlen. Die Ausstattung, insbesondere Bad, Küche und Wohnbereich sind liebevoll gestaltet und sehr hochwertig. Mit dem Rad ist man schnell in Alkmaar und auch bis zur Küste ist es nicht weit (etwa 35 Minuten mit dem Rad). Die Besitzerin hat sich persönlich nach dem Befinden erkundigt und ist sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!

Great house in a perfect location

The six of us had a great time at this house. The hosts were very nice and welcomed us with flowers and a bottle of wine. We enjoyed the location which was a short bike ride to the cheese market and also to the sea. Thanks for the great stay!!!

Gemütliches Haus Nähe Alkmaar

Man kommt rein und fühlt sich wohl - das ist der erste Eindruck des gemütlichen Hauses, in dem man alles vorfindet, was man braucht. Mit den vorhandenen Rädern kann man gemütlich am Kanal entlang nach Alkmaar fahren. Egmond aan Zee ist nur ca. 12 km entfernt. Für unseren Kurzurlaub fanden wir alles sehr nett, die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich.
