Villa Zizzy Plitvice lakes

Villa Zizzy is a charming apartment located in a village Grabovac, only 8km distant from the world known National park Plitvice lakes which belongs to the UNESCO heritage. While decorating it I made sure my guests will have a lovely and relaxing place to return to after a long day of hiking and exploring this beautiful area. It is situated on the ground floor with its own entrance and surrounded with a large garden which is connected to the private terrace for outside dinning. Apartment accommodates 4 persons in two separated rooms with comfortable queen and king size beds. Kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and complimentary coffee,tea and fruit. In the living room you can relax in a warm atmosphere invited by quality lounging furniture as well as a glass door fireplace, wi-fi and tv. Private parking is available in front of the property. Portable barbecue is available on request too.
Villa Zizzy is perfect for families with kids and pets (fenced garden),small group of friends but also individuals who appreciate their privacy.
Very easily reached from the main road D1 weather travelling from north or south- Zagreb airport 130km and Zadar 150km.
Its location is convenient to explore all attractions nearby: Plitvice lakes 8km, Rastoke 20km, Barac caves 10km, Bihać (Bosnia and Herzegovina) 25km, Kuterevo-bear shelter 75km.
Groceries stores and restaurants are within walking distance as well as cash point, exchange office and tourist info center!

Für kurze Aufenthalte ok.

Kleine Wohnung mit netter Vermieterin, großem Grundstück und netter Terrasse. Leider fehlt hier wirklich die Klimaanlage, es ist in der Wohnung kaum auszuhalten. Die Vermieterin hat drei Ventilatoren in die Wohnung gestellt, die liefen sogar Nachts. In einem heißem Sommer nicht auszuhalten. Die Küche war gut eingerichtet, es fehlte an nichts.

Malgré la barrière de la langue, Zdenka a su nous conseiller sur les différentes visite à faire dans le coin, une personne toujours souriante et agréable. Le logement était impeccable, très propre et très fonctionnel. Je vous le recommande les yeux fermés,!!

My stay at Villa Zizzy was wonderful. It was conveniently located for Lake Plitivce and the apartment comfortable, well appointed and very well maintained. Zdenka, my host is fantastic. Overall, I had a great, although short stay.

Lovely home near Plitvice Lakes

This was just perfect for our needs. We were visiting Plitvice and needed a comfy place to rest our heads after a long day of hiking. The owner was very responsive and even recommended a great restaurant for us. It was so good we had dinner there twice -- Bistro Plum - check it out!

Amazing stay

This cozy home had plenty of space for my two teen daughters and myself and was incredibly comfortable and well-appointed. We have traveled almost exclusively through VRBO for 12 years and this has been one of our favorite stays ever. The home is in a quiet yet convenient location, with very comfortable beds and bedding, thoughtful storage, and welcoming and soothing decor. Zdenka, the host, is a proactive communicator and ensured not only that we were comfortable and had everything we needed, but was very helpful with ensuring we had information to make the most of our time here. Our only regret was we were not staying longer.

Plitvice Launching Pad

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Zdenka's home - she made us feel very welcome, gave us great advice for how to enjoy Plitvice and was very responsive to any need we had. The home was very comfortable, with nice bedrooms and a full kitchen that we took advantage of. We also found many nice restaurants very close by. Grabovac was a beautiful town in the Croatian countryside, a perfect place to be so we could explore the area. We were only a little sad that we had such warm weather because we couldn't use the cozy fireplace...highly recommend the area and staying at Zizzy's!!

Home from home after a wonderful road trip in Croatia

Zdanka was a warm friendly host who made us very welcome to Villa Zizzy, a perfect location for Plitvice National Park and beyond with good restaurants and amenities close by. A comfortable place to hang out with the wood burner stove to keep us warm on a cool, wet afternoon!

Lovely apartment near the Plitvice Lakes

We had a really pleasant stay in this lovely apartment. It is nicely decorated and really cosy. The apartment is in a quiet area but a shop and a lot of restaurants are very close by. This apartment is owned by Zdenka who is really friendly and very helpfull. We choose this apartment because it is a really dogfriendly apartment with a fenced garden. All points of interest(Plivice Lakes, Rastoke, Bihac,..) are all close to this apartment. We loved our stay and hope to return one day. Fam Moran-Roels Belgium

Cozy Cottage in Great Location

We greatly enjoyed our 8 night stay at Zdenka's cottage, a stylish and well equipped apartment featuring a large garden shared with Zdenka & her dog Zizzy who both live upstairs. Zdenka warmly welcomed us and our two dogs with a festive happy hour to enjoy local liqueur, beer & wine, while sharing lots of insider information about the local area where she's from. As we stayed for some time, it was great to have access to a washing machine (extra charge). Heating of the apartment is via the fireplace and Zdenka supplied ample firewood to ensure a comfortable stay. Highlights of our visit of course included the Plitvice Lakes National Park, a day trip to the riverside town of Bihać in Bosnia and exploring other local sites suggested by Zdenka. Highly recommended!

CHARMING LOCAL VILLA

After arriving by plane in Zagreb and driving south 2 hours, this area was our first introduction to Croatia. Zdenka had left apples from her tree and homemade brandy for us to try. It was a lovely welcome! This home has direct and quick access to Plitvice Lakes which is the main reason we visited this area. The apartment is very clean and cozy. And in the event that it is needed...there is ample wood to burn a fire. (In October the nights and mornings were already a bit chilly.) Zdenka is a wonderful hostess and is readily available when needed. We throughly enjoyed are stay in Villa Zizzy!

Everything was perfect in this house for the one night stay of our family of four. It is nicely decorated. We had nice and clean sheets and bathroom towels. The kitchen has all the equipment you need. The living room is very comfy, with a nice fireplace. Zdenka welcomed us with a great smile and some "Shnaps" (or rakia?). She was very helpful and responsive. And of course the house is ideally located, less than 10 min drive from the lakes. A place we recommend without hesitation. Thank you Zdenka!
