Luxury full restored townhouse in Palamos

We are located 90 minutes north of Barcelona in the Baix Emporda region of Catalonia or more frequently known as the Costa Brava (known as the fierce or rugged coast). With it's mild climate, transparent waters, countless blue flag sandy beaches and luminosity of the skies it's hardly suprising that in 2012 the National Geographic voted Costa Brava one of the top travel destinations in the world.

We have used our extensive knowledge of the area to create the perfect holiday which will incorporate all the things we love most about living here, the wild flowers in Spring, the miles of unspoilt coastline, the lush farmland, the orchards, the fantastic seafood, the local wines, the perfectly preserved medieval villages, the local markets, the festivals, and of course the weather which enables you to sit in the square with a coffee and watch the world go by.

We have designed and renovated our own townhouse using traditional materials and local tradesmen which blends in to the local landscape. It's central location means you don't need a car so makes this a truly relaxing holiday! There is plenty to do in the area, cycling, walking, sea kayaking, snorkelling, sailing, wind surfing, wine visits, tennis, padel and a recently opened state of the art indoor swimming pool, spa and treatment room all accessible by bike!
We fell in love with Catalonia 25 years ago and in 2009 moved from Scotland to set up a cycling and walking business. We love Palamos as it has everything on the doorstep. Lots of shops, restaurants and cafes and a great weekly local market. It is a traditional fishermen town open all year round and the beach is only a five minute walk away which means you can forget about a car. We offer private transfers from Girona airport or the local station. There are also great walks in the vicinity and we can provide detailed maps to get you started if you fancy a more active holiday.
