GET THE FAMILY AWAY TO THE COUNTRY! FRESH, OPEN AIR. FISHING AND BOATING ON THE LAKE. AS PUBLIC OR PRIVATE AS YOU LIKE!

Come enjoy this 2100 sq. ft. guest house on the lake at beautiful Holly Lake Ranch just north of Tyler in the rolling hills and forests of East Texas. All fully furnished to make your stay relaxing. You can enjoy the lake view from the rocking chairs on the full length back porch. The clubhouse for the 18 hole golf course is only a block away. Fishing is great on the two private lakes as well.

Something for everyone!! Plan a visit to First Monday in Canton or visit Gladewater the Antique Capital of East Texas only 25 miles away. We are located in the heart of the Piney Woods Wine Trail with several wineries only a short drive away. It is only 30 miles to Tyler (45 min to Longview) for shopping, dining, movies, etc. An enormous variety of birds are on the property year round or migrating through. You might even see one of our magnificent bald eagles soaring over the lake or golf course!

If you need some down time, relax in a rocker on the back porch and gaze at our peaceful lake, beautiful sunrises and spectacular sunsets. Come and visit us and we are sure to see you again next year in our part of beautiful East Texas.

Enjoy our Outdoor Patio, Pergola and Fire Pit on the lake. Plan to enjoy an evening under the stars by the fire toasting marshmallows and telling tales.

GOLFERS – Our pro and his staff are constantly working to make the course better and better. The improvements are noticeable making for a fun and challenging round of golf.

BOATS
FREE! Two man, trolling motor powered, flat bottom boat and a canoe are available for guest usage free with signed liability waiver. Usage subject to availability.
RENTAL! A pontoon boat for cruising the lake! Bring an ice chest, drinks and snacks. Room for 8 - 10 people for a fun day on the water. Great for Crappie fishing! Not the best bass boat, but equipped with a trolling motor, two fishing seats each front and back and adequate in a pinch. Inquire if you are interested and we can send you rates and details.

NOTE: A daily fee applies for launching/operating your private boat, jet ski, etc on the lake. Check with owner before booking if this is important to you.

Take advantage of the lower Sunday to Wednesday rates for extending your stay or to take advantage of a lower cost trip if coming during the week works for your group. (Most stays.)

Gracious lake front cottage

Perfect Stay 💯

Dennis and Melanie are wonderful hosts and this property is better than available pictures. Right on the water, golf course/restaurant in walking distance, and a pontoon available to rent. Great stay!!

Great Weekend in East Texas

Such a lovely guest house!

We were impressed from the first time we saw the property in our search for a place to stay for a family wedding. The guest house was just the right size and the way the bedrooms are set up worked perfectly for a multi-generational group. We had everything we needed and appreciate how nice it was to work with our hosts. The lake is beautiful and it was such a nice treat to sit on the back porch on the rocking chairs!

Fun for all ages

We had a relaxing and peaceful weekend with family friendly activities for all ages. We enjoyed smores on the firepit, fishing off the dock, a few boat rides, reading, coffee on the porch, game day at the activities center, and a meal at Whiskey's Restaurant & Bar (walking distance). Great location and welcoming host

The water is just steps outside your door, and the community has a lot to offer. Not a lot of restaurant choices, but the food we had was great. We golfed, boated, swam in the pool and lake, played sand volleyball, and ate out. The lake is pretty small, but adequate for cruising around and swimming or fishing. Dennis was a great host and very hospitable and welcoming! Our whole group was very pleased!

Reunion with old friends

Every year a group of 6 old school friends get together for a week of fishing, sharing memories and fun. Staying at Holly Lake Ranch location was the best over the other past 10 locations. Mr. Dossey was very professional, personable and informative. Great Location, clean and well stocked, along with great fishing.

Incredible Lake House Vacation

Our family had a truly magical vacation at this absolutely stunning lake house! The home is right on the lake with breathtaking views. The home owner Denis is just fantastic and a gracious host. We caught so many fish right off of his dock and loved utilizing his fishing boat and renting his speed boat. Our family will cherish our time together for years to come and we cannot wait to return! Beautiful

The lake house was beautiful and the host was above and beyond friendly. He and his wife were available when needed but did a great job giving us our group privacy. It made for such a pleasant experience. And the added touch of the home baked cookies upon our arrival was the perfect touch. The house was clean and did I say beautiful?? The community had fabulous amenities, too. I would highly recommend this rental for your next Texas vacation.

Great Place to Stay

We loved the location of this house - right on the water with beautiful views. The four bedrooms gave everyone plenty of room to spread out. The rockers on the porch beckon those who just want to unwind and enjoy the view. Then, of course, there is the fishing! Dennis is so accessible in case anyone wants any fishing help. Unfortunately the fish weren't biting, but we still had a great time. We found the kitchen to be extremely well stocked with everything from spices to dishes and pans. Thanks for a great spring break!

Lake Holly Family Holiday

What a fun holiday setting this lake cottage provided for my family. The sleeping arrangements were ideal for our four adults and two small children. The lake was the perfect backdrop for the many activities enjoyed - golf, fishing, cruising in the small boat, games by the fireplace, walks, and s'mores on the firepit. The porch rockers overlooking the lake was a favorite hangout spot. The reflections on the lake surrounded by tall pine trees received numerous oohs and ahhs with the changing of the sun. Dennis and Melanie were great hosts. Thank you!

Family New Years

House was perfect for our family. Because of the pandemic, our summer family vacation was cancelled and it was nice to drive 2 hours from Dallas and feel like you are miles away from home. My husband, myself, two sons, two daughter in laws, 2 grandbabies had ample room. The men enjoyed walking one block to golf course and enjoyed how it was not crowded. The house had everything we needed and Dennis was extremely helpful. He is very prompt in replying to texts or emails. Because of the cold weather in January, we enjoyed the firepit every night......... will definitely stay again.

Family reunion getaway
