Perfect for the 2 of us. I brought my teen for a swim meet for a week, this was a great home away from home. Cute house, with original tile bathrooms but updated fully equipped kitchen. Often when I have rented vrbo houses in the past I had to bring hand soap, laundry/dishwasher pods, and shampoo/conditioner etc . But the owner kindly provided these things! Check in was easy, owner was quick to answer any questions, and there were absolutely no issues/problems during our stay. Would definitely rent again

Our stay was very nice. Host came out and introduced himself, as well as checked on us mid stay. The location was fantastic for our needs. The home suited our needs, was well equipped but definitely needs a good cleaning…. We just cleaned before use.

St. Pete Visit

We were there for my mother’s funeral. It was a very nice house and conveniently located on a quiet street adjacent to a lovely park. We will definitely stay there again when we return to visit family.

Hello,Scott was great, he met us at the house because the sprinkler was blocking access to the house without getting wet. I wish the house was equally as great! Lots of room in the house but a DEEP CLEANING is desperately needed. Very thick dust on furniture, the shower curtain in the bathroom needs a washing with some bleach and the floors can use the same. The sheets and the towels were clean and fresh. The kitchen was pretty good. IT JUST NEEDS A DEEP CLEANING and than regular upkeep!

The bungalow is located in the older part of St Petersburg. We liked the location with its proximity to the old town and many restaurants, but on a quiet neighborhood street. The house is well appointed for vacationers. It was well-maintained and comfortable. We would happily stay there again.

By no means was unpleasant but felt but surface level clean. One of the bathroom doors was broken so we got stuck in there multiple times. There wasn’t rly a great selection of mirrors which made it a little difficult to get ready but overall wasn’t bad. The hot tub also wasn’t working which was a bummer. Would be good for a group of friends but not necessarily for a family especially since it was located on a busy road next to a motel.

Can’t wait to go back to this rental! I was so happy and it felt like home beautiful lake with walking path at end of street the main road was close and I had everything I needed close proximity to downtown St Pete. The owner scott was so kind to let me know that a nearby park was having the Christmas tree light up! I was happy also that he was close by if I had any issues that may come up which there wasn’t

Cute house as long as you don’t have any questions for the Host. Thankfully customer support was able to help us out. Water pressure is not great and the hot water kept going out. The place is surface clean, just don’t look too closely. The house is located right next to crescent lake park, a wonderful lake to walk around when there isn’t an arctic blast. Nearest coffee shop is 15 minute walk.

Cozy & comfortable home

Thank you Scott. Your home was perfect for our thanksgiving trip. Its close proximity to a beautiful park, many restaurants and the sunken gardens made this trip so much more special. It was so nice to start our mornings with bagels and coffee that you provided and a walk around the park. The bakery across the street is also really yummy! Your home was equipped with more than I needed, lots of towels, throws, pillows. Your beds are heavenly, very comfortable sleep. The house is roomy and the sofa fits everyone comfortably for family movie night. Beach Dr. and the new trendy Art District was a short 5 min drive away. I will definitely stay here again. I'm already missing your place! Thanks again for your hospitality!

Do not stay here

We chose this house because of the location, great reviews and amenities. Scott had no clue we were coming so the house wasn't available when we arrived. Even though we already paid in full. Leaving us in complete shock we had to rent a hotel in downtown Saint Petersburg. Scott had someone come clean the property and we were able to stay the remainder of our trip. The house was really not that clean. It was extremely dusty and the floors were sticky we wore our shoes the whole time. The yard was overgrown, the hot tub was not in service and the laundry room door was stuck so we didn't have access to that either. We were extremely unhappy with our stay which I made known. The last night in the house there was a knock on the back door. We were completely startled since it was 10 PM and a complete stranger. It was someone related to the owner, he handed us flea and bed bug foggers and asked if we would put them out before we left the following morning. He said the cleaning lady found a ton of fleas . We were completely disgusted and packed our belongings and left. If Scott knew there were a ton of fleas he should of never had people staying there as well as bed bugs , seriously. Do not make the same mistake we did

When I first saw this review I was at a complete loss for words... After some thought here goes. This booking did catch me by surprise because my family and myself go camping every year in July and part of August and do not book our properties during this time in case there is an issue we would not be able to assist. Once I received her phone call that she was at the property I immediately dropped everything and had our cleaning lady of 2 years for all of our properties, also dear friend to our family get there and clean it asap. During that time she was cleaning I offered up one of our water front condos, or both depending on the amount of people she had with her. They were already staged and ready to check in. She said that wasn't necessary and she was fine to stay in a hotel. I obviously dropped the cost of that night and the cleaning fee from her reservation. The cleaning lady did notice some small ants that were dead and I later found out from a professional that they are a seasonal ant here in Florida during our rainy season. My father was the "Strange" man that was doing everything he could think to do to accommodate the guest when he got back from vacation the evening of the frightening knock on the door. There are not and were no fleas in the house, the bed bug comment was also false just to cause defamation of our property. Please take this review lightly and please read the overwhelming amount of positive reviews from our other dear guests.

It has Potential

The home was great, but obvious signs of past pets in the home, if you have allergies (which we do, its tough). New fridge, great space, actually had cookware and it was in good condition. Just a little dark and dusty: lights, windowsills, and hot water in the second bathroom was not working. But communication with host was excellent, location was excellent.

My family and I had a great time in St Petersburg

The property's interior was lovely and comfortable, and the location was perfect for us. We could not use the hot tub because it was being repaired and the bicycles were unavailable.
