Beautiful Beachfront Bungalows

Casa Caracol has 3 bungalows which can be rented together or individually (during the pandemic we will only rent the property to one group).

Each bungalow has a maximum capacity for 6 people. Two bedrooms with air conditioning, one with a king bed and the other has two bunk beds. Living room, bathroom, kitchen and an outside dining room with a deck and a hammock.

There is a large "rancho" where you can spend your time enjoying the sea view breeze and the pool.

I stayed at these bungalows for 30 days and they were everything as shown on VRBO. It is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have ever stayed. The bungalows are well-equipped, all you need for your stay. The beach is a black sand beach but very nice. The pool and grounds are wonderful and the family that take care of these residences are great. The location of the bungalows very remote so you need a car to travel and explore the areas. Small village approximately 3 miles away, has all the things you will need for your stay. Would highly recommend these bungalows, and the owner very, very helpful..

FANTASTIC GETAWAY

2nd time we have stayed at this beach property and it was wonderful. Both the caretaker and his wife were friendly, attentive, and let you have your space once the check-in details were completed. Once again, Rosando came through with fresh, delicious shrimp. Very highly recommended.

A Little Place in Paradise

The property is exactly as described and seen on the VRBO website. We had the bungalow right by the beach and it was very private. The caretakers are very efficient and friendly even when you vacant communicate. We don't speak Spanish but we were able to manage. It was great having our own car so we could easily head into Monterrico for a meal. This place is perfect for relaxation and to get away from it all. Be sure to bring all of your own basics and groceries although there are little stores in the area. The sand is too hot to walk on during the day but it is a great little pool. Be wary of the surf on the beach as there is an undertow. The owner is easy to chat with via email and she will answer all of your questions. The map she provides is perfect - just past the 158km sign and just before the big telephone poles - outside of Momterrico just at Hawaii. We highly recommend this place as a perfect getaway.

Beautiful place. Need to provide some amenities!!

The place and property was great!!! Beautiful and no one else around. Normally when I stay with vacation rentals, there are some basic spices, dish soap, dish towels, drinking water. This place has nothing!!!! We were only there for 2 nights so weren't going to go buy a bunch of stuff like that. Luckily we got some salt from the caretaker. How can I do the dishes with no dish soap? Or a towel to dry or wipe down the counters with? So that was dissapointing.

Beautiful property with great beach location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the bungalows, would recommend it, and we ourselves will be going back again as soon as possible! The property is very well-maintained and is right at beach-side on a beautiful stretch of beach just south of Monterrico. The pool is beautiful and very clean. The bungalows are well-equipped and have comfortable bedding.

A beautiful, amazing place full of natural beauty. Had a very good time, until we fund out that we had to supply our own toilet paper, and drinking water . Luckily we had ours. And then it got even worse, when we are just about to leave, the caretakers, tell us we had to wash our own dirty dishes, before we could leave!!!

This beach bungalow was beautiful, propert well maintained. The beds were so comfortable. We all took turns napping in the hammock. If you are looking to experience Guatemala,s oceanfront you can't get any closer. We did not even have to get sandy, we could sit on our patio and watch the ocean. Security and grounds keeper were so helpful. The price was so affordable for oceanfront. We recommend this place if you want to see Monterrico, Guatemala's pacific coast. Gorgeous

Beautiful Beachfront Bungalows

After having visited Monterrico for the past 5 years and staying in various hotels we have found the perfect place that fits our needs. We had the bungalow closest to the ocean which is fantastic. The bungalow is well appointed and has a positive energy of tranquility. The caretaker was very accommodating and kept the pool and grounds spotless. The shrimp he found for us were excellent. We can't wait to return hopefully in Sept.
