The Harbor House is our latest waterfront estate, with an amazing, tranquil setting on Holmes Harbor, complete with colorful sailboats bobbing at anchor just a stone's throw. It will be one of our most popular in coming years as four of the five large luxurious bedrooms face the Harbor, one of the prettiest, most peaceful, settings on the island. There are a lot of king beds in this house too! You will find yourself relaxing from the moment you arrive. With its extensive grounds, the Harbor House is ideal for family and group functions with private grounds and fruit trees, all leading to the low bulkhead private beach for crabbing and clams. The lawns are expansive for sunning and entertaining - badminton anyone? How about croquet? Like all WR waterfront estate properties, the Harbor House is full of elegance and serendipity, with spectacular art, gourmet kitchen, enchanting antiques, and 55" Theatre Cinema system. Hot tub and fireplaces, of course!

Beautiful property with the most king sized beds I ever seen in a vacation rental! My family loved the accommodations and property so much. Large backyard allowed for kids to enjoy and access to beach. We loved our stay!
This home has great beach access, huge grassy yard, plenty of parking, two kayaks to use and comfortable huge bedrooms. A fully equipped kitchen and a propane barbecue. Lovely neighborhood area to walk as well.
Gorgeous views, cramped and bug-infested downstairs, fragile plumbing
"Dad's Harbor House" is in a great location with a tranquil and beautiful view of the water. The upstairs area is very nice with a full kitchen, comfortable master bedroom and bath, and cozy living area. There was plenty of space in the yard for kids to play, and the garage was well-supplied with outdoor toys. We had a large enough group that we had to use all the bedrooms downstairs. Most of the downstairs bedrooms didn't have much closet/storage space. We found the downstairs bathrooms to be dark and cramped, with stained shower curtains, and many spiders and bugs. The water temp in the tiny, narrow showers downstairs was unpredictable, swinging from very cold to very hot. There is only one bathtub in the entire house, which is in the upstairs bathroom. The kitchen has some basic supplies and working stove, oven, and microwave, but no storage containers for food. The water heater and drainage system sprung a leak during our stay, flooding the carpet downstairs. They told us this was due to a clogged toilet, even though we followed all of their usage instructions to the letter. We appreciate the manager and maintenance crew for responding immediately and fixing the leak. For the next several days, we had to live with a dank, smelly carpet and a loud fan running day and night. Overall this was a very mixed experience at "Dad's Harbor House."
This great house was perfect for our family to gather and be with my husband and I to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. It was welcoming and so well appointed and the beds were so comfortable. Gina and her staff were amazing and so helpful. Upon arrival they surprised us with flowers and and wine to begin our celebration. Our stay on Whidbey Island was absolutely incredible.
I've stayed at a lot of rentals, and this house was one of the best! Fantastic location, beautiful home and just a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view and the rest of Whidbey Island. Gina was so responsive, so helpful and so flexible, and we couldn't have asked for a better trip. Highly recommend, and look forward to staying here again!
I visited for a wedding on the island with family who traveled from Florida and California. The place was even better than we expected! There was plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. We loved spending our evenings by the fire pit our back, catching up between festivities. Highly recommend!
We had a very relaxing time at the house. The kitchen/dining area was great to hang out in. There was no grill listed when we booked it, but we noticed that there actually is one on the deck.
WOW! This house was a beautiful spot for a family getaway. It would be perfect for a larger family reunion. So much attention has been given to the little details in this house. The location is perfect for exploring the many great outdoor adventures on Whidbey. Gina was an incredible host! We highly recommend this house, and we will definitely be back!!
At the time of posting, the pictures on this listing do not show the beauty of this home and the views from every water facing window! This house has been remodeled since and it is lovely. Every room is comfortable and well laid out. The beds are perfect, the sofas are cozy, and dining room table is expansive and unique. The lawn is well kept and lovely for spending time (even in winter) and the hot tub is warm and paced out of the rain. Do not overlook this home. It is everything we were looking for and we will definitely be back.
beautiful, well maintained property that comfortably housed 6 adults and 6 kids under 8. Beach is rocky,, but lots of creatures to find. Large popular sand beach 2 miles away.
We wanted to spend a nice relaxing week by the shore and this property delivered. The views where amazing and the accommodations where updated and comfortable.
All and all a great stay.

Great house for a large group
The DADs Harbor House is well cared for and in a terrific location. There are a few stairs to the beach, but only a few. The house was set up well and our group loved all the king beds. While I wish the kitchen was stocked with basic pantry items, I do understand that keeping tabs on food is not really possible for a busy vacation rental.
The yard was great - we brought a badminton set and the kids loved it. The hot tub was clean and staff was checking on it.
Thank you!

Wonderful Beach!
We had a wonderful week on Whidbey Island in July. The kids loved walking along and seeing what each tide brought in. Wow, you have a great beach, Washington! (The water sure is cold though!) We really enjoyed everything about the house and the location couldn't have been better for us.
