This place was great clean will stocked. Lake view was the best. Convenient location based on your needs less traffic to the right on 150 lots more traffic to th left but anything you could possibly need beside bait did see any that way the general has bait. Would definitely book again.

Can't go wrong here folks. Place is nicely kept... It's in a quiet little community.... We left stuff outside all the time and nothing was ever bothered. It was clean and clear instruction placards were listed everywhere. I would recommend this place

Lots of cobwebs! The house is lakefront but we couldn’t swim there because it was so gross. There were vultures that would come onto the porch and hang out every morning. It was very hot in the bedrooms on the 2nd floor, we had to go buy an extra fan. It wasn’t quite what I had expected.

I am truly sorry that you had a bad experience! I understand the disappointment with the lakeshore. We're disappointed, as well. Due to the severe drought conditions, the lake is terribly low. The home has been in our family for over 40 years, and no one has ever seen it like this in the summer months. I'm not sure I would say it is "gross," though. We can't help that there is grass growing where water should be... Unfortunately, we can't control where spiders decide to build webs around the lake. The webs were removed the day before you arrived, but the spiders refuse to stay away. As for the vultures, they don't ask permission to visit, either. I wasn't aware of them being at the lake house, but I did see some on our neighbor's roof. (Possibly due to an inconsiderate fisherman leaving his unwanted scraps around the shoreline?) While all things related to Mother Nature are out of our control, I wish you had let us know about the A/C upstairs. I could have brought you fans and called the HVAC technician to take a look at it. We will do that asap, so thank you for bringing it to our attention. Again, I am sorry the house did not meet your expectations.

Great family vacation

This was my second time staying here and I’ll be staying here again the next time I visit the lake. The house is great, we enjoyed the pool table and the spacious living room! We caught a bunch of fish off the dock and enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boat!!

Awesome Lakeside Retreat

From the reservation to the check in process to the departure our stay was wonderful. The host has a very clean and modern house with a great lake view for those renting this property. Highly recommended if you are going to be vacationing in the Charlotte, Kannapolis, Lake Norman locale!

Another peaceful week of fishing.

Property is gorgeous. Spot on the lake is great for fishing right from the dock. The peddle boat is a nice bonus - easier to fish from than a kayak for me at least. Fun time had by all.

Great location on a quiet cove

We very much enjoyed our stay! We were there with our adult children so the kayaks, paddle boat, and pool table were hits. While there are neighbors, not many are out during the week so we felt like we had the water to ourselves most of the time. The house was located close to restaurants, grocery stores, and convenient stores so that was a plus.

Loved Our Cove on Duffy

We love Lake Norman! The location of the home was conveniently located to picking up supplies. The dock space was perfect for docking our boat and swimming. We enjoyed the outside seating and dining area, the game room was a big hit and the spacious living room. The owners are just a text away if you need something. I would stay here again.
