DOGS are most welcome . However If you intend to use the Spa and leave your dogs at Fell View you MUST be sure they will not bark and howl and disturb our neighbours, or you will be asked to leave. Please take your dogs with you.

Fell View is a beautiful home from home, superbly well equipped, beautifully furnished and ideal for couples and families alike, in the village of Allithwaite.
It's in a perfect location, with shop and dog friendly award winning pub to walk to.

Come and sit and enjoy the enclosed garden knowing your family and pet are safe ,it's a real sun trap and wonderful for eating alfresco .Parking for two cars, a 'welcome tray', file of 'local walks', some right from the front door! are provided. A large flat screen TV, WiFi, dvd, CD player,board games,books, toys etc.all ensure you'll have a wonderful holiday. And in the evening why not walk to one of the village pubs, for terrific home cooked food by roaring log fires. There's a well stocked shop,children's play area that is well cared for and a great place for children and a free tennis court .. a perfect base to explore the lakes.

Fell View is a beautiful two bedroomed cottage set in the village of Allithwaite, which is ideal for couples and families alike. It's a hideaway of peace and quiet between the mountains and sea. It's a place that you'll find is an ideal base, as all the attractions are only minutes away and you can come back after a days site seeing to a superbly equipped cottage , in a delightful location.

What could be better that curling up on our designer sofa with a book or enjoying the sunshine on our patio with a glass of wine or simply chatting round our dining table??? Fell View is made to make the most of your precious time together.

BABIES and toddlers are most welcome:- we have a high chair, baby bath ,stair gate, booster chair, travel cot,fire guard, baby bowls and plates etc....all at no extra charge. For children a selection of books ,toys, table football etc.are provided. In fact there's a toy box full of games,quizzes, books etc. Guaranteed to keep any youngster happy and our garden is safe and secure for your children to enjoy.

Rest and relaxation is the order of the day and our large master bedroom has been luxuriously fitted out with contemporary oak furniture, designer fabrics and Egyptian cotton bedding for that pampering feeling, it can be configured for either two single beds or a super king size bed. We also have a guest bed for a fifth person. Your sure to enjoy waking up in such surroundings and seeing the view from the bedroom window toward the coast and the nearby fells and hear the sound of bird song in our cottage garden and sheep in the fields. What could be better ?
And in our king bedroom there is a quality bed ,again with designer furnishings and Egyptian cotton sheets.

While downstairs in our spacious lounge we have a large flat screen TV which has free view. There is a dvd player,CD player and CD's,board games,books etc. everything you could possibly need after a hard days site seeing in the Lakes. We have Wi Fi available free of charge.

We have off road parking for two cars, in a garage and on a drive, and more parking on the cul de sac behind the cottage .

The village pub, which are minutes away on foot, serve terrific home cooked food by roaring log fires, there's a well stocked shop, tennis court and children's playground too. The village has everything you could possibly need.
Nearby is Cartmel :- historic Priory, antique and craft shops, traditional pubs and Michelin starred L'Enclume restaurant.

Our delightful cottage GARDEN is safe and secure for dogs and little ones. We are away from main roads and you are sure to enjoy the peace and quiet of this area. . This is a wonderful area for dog owners with fabulous walks from the doorstep and plenty of fields, footpaths, woods and beaches to choose from to ensure that your dog can run around off the lead.We accept upto 2 dogs. WE ARE NON SMOKING

Wonderful cottage in a perfect location

Conveniently located between Grange-over- Sands and Cartmel, this cozy cottage was perfect for our week in the Lakes. The enclosed garden made it easy for us to bring our dog along and we appreciated the communication and fantastic cleaning from our hosts. Access to a pool/gym/spa made this a perfect package.

A cosy home from home with all you could need

We picked this cottage because it seemed equipped to a very high standard and all the other reviews confirmed it was nice and clean. Everything from the initial booking with Alison through to the arrival and stay exceeded our expectations. The facilities and equipment were superb and I would highly recommend this cottage and location to others. We certainly do hope to return. Lots of useful information was provided for where to go and what to visit whilst we were there. We visited The Pheasent Inn quite a few times and we'd also highly recommend. A very welcoming pub that offered lovely food, a fabulous service and even allowed dogs in. A thoroughly enjoyable week, thank you!!

Excellent property. Spotlessly clean, all mod cons, quiet location. Nice, secluded garden that is safe for children and dogs. Grange over sands & Cartmel are 10 a minute drive away or walkable. To Bowness on Windermere is a 30 minute drive. Pheasant Inn pub (5mins walk) is excellent, friendly and cosy. The booking process was efficient and the courtesy call on arrival a nice touch. I would reccomend this property for people of all ages. You will not be disappointed.

Christmas at Fell View

Imagine our delight when we arrived at the cottage to find a christmas tree and table laid with crackers etc. Brian phoned to check everything was ok - all the instructions we received were fine. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable - I cooked a Christmas dinner so everything I needed was to hand! The area is great and we did a couple of walks, had lunch at the Pheasant pub and some wonderful tea and cakes at Hazelmere's in Grange. Cartmel is a must - the Priory is spectacular as is the Sticky Toffee pudding shop!! I would recommend this property to anyone who wants all the comforts of 'home'.

Clean and tidy house in a quiet close, with a pretty small back garden - very well located to explore the Lakes, with Cartmel a mile or so up the road and Windermere within easy reach - The Pheasant Inn is a lovely pub, serving great food and only a 5-10 mins walk away - Alison and Brian provided plenty of information and the booking/key arrangements were very straight forward.

Great location and super hosts

We had a lovely weekend staying in this property. It's located in the middle of Grange and Cartmel, with lots of lovely countryside on the doorstep. Brian and Alison were great hosts, with good communication, lots of information, and even checked in with us when we arrived to see if we were okay. The house is well equipped and really warm, even in the middle of winter. The beds were super comfortable as well.

Stayed twice at this property. Spotlessly clean, an excellent base to explore all that the Lake District has offer. Grange over Sands, Cartmel - 5 minute drive. Lake Windermere, Barrow in Furness - 20-30 minute drive max. Cosy, snug living room and a wonderful king size bed in main bedroom. Nice neighbour next door and the garden is safe if you have a dog. Alison and Brian are wonderful, friendly people and offer immediate help on any matter or concern. You will not be disappointed staying at this property. I didn't want to go home!!

a small cottage with a big heart. Plenty of space for 4 people in a quiet cul-de-sac

We stayed for 4 days over new year with my daughter and her husband we also had two cocker spaniels. The cottage was well equipped with an small Enclosed garden for the dogs. There were some lovely walks from the cottage and many more a short drive away. The Pheasant serves amazing food And is dog friendly. although it’s not really a pub. There was no area for just sitting and having a drink with the dogs unless you sat outside. Friendly helpful staff too. Just wish we had realised before we booked as this plays a big part in our walking holidays to relax after a long walk. Beds comfortable and cottage always warm. Oven takes a while to cook things, think it’s a bit old. Lounge chairs not the comfiest for lounging in. Brian and Alison are both very helpful and answer any questions quickly and efficiently. They are also very helpful if you need early check in or late check out. Perfect for our four days holiday.

Fell View Cottage is well situated in the South Lakes with easy access to all areas. Many good local walks and the convenience of a local post office and convenience store on the doorstep. There is no shortage of good eating places within easy reach of the cottage. We would not hesitate in returning in the future.

Fell View is a lovely cottage, maintained to a high standard and well equipped with everything needed for a short break away. The welcome pack of milk, teabags and biscuits was much appreciated. The cottage is located in a quiet village, a 5 minute walk from a lovely local pub called the Pheasants Inn which is family and dog friendly. There is also a post office / local convenience store just across the road. It is an ideal location for exploring the southern Lake District, with easy access to Grange-Over-Sands, Cartmel and Newby Bridge and there are some lovely walks right on the doorstep.

Enjoyed our stay. Didn't find evidence of dogs previously staying. Very clean and folders of info/walks very useful. The owners provided plenty of advice/places to visit in an email before our visit. Would stay again 😀

We are a family of five who just love the Southern Lakes and in particular the village of Allithwaite.

Why they chose this property

Fell View is in a wonderful location, right near the coast and yet a few minutes from the mountains and lakes. It also has that all important shop and pub to walk to in the village.(infact two pubs to walk to for food) also a children's play area that will entain for hours and a free tennis court.

What makes this property unique

Fell View is unique as it is tucked away in a quiet spot in a delighful village that has a great aray of ammenities:shop. a fabulous pub to walk to, play area, tennis court. village hall that welcomes visitors for dancing, etc And great walks from the door step.
Fell View has everything a visitor would want.
