This two bedroom charmer, a cozy 1500 square feet, is nestled among the aromatic pines on the edge of the Bureau of Land Management acreage. It sports wall murals, used brick fireplace, mudroom entrance, patio deck, and a nicely equipped kitchen. In the heart of Gold Country, historic Jamestown, Columbia, and Sonora are must see stops. Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort are 20-22 miles while Yosemite beckons a little over an hour away. Hiking, exploring caves, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, white water river rafting, cross country skiing, alpine skiing make this retreat a sport enthusiast's and nature lover's delight.

We are from Turlock, California. Gary is a newly retired veterinarian and Lynette was an RN/ but more wife and mom. Gary's parents purchased the cottage in 1968- we took ownership in 1992. We did lots of updates then and still enjoy improving the property to suit the needs of travelers. We have two adult children and five grandchildren 6 years old and under- guess what we enjoy doing?!?!
Why they chose this property
Our children grew up coming to the cottage. We have great memories in front of the fireplace playing board games on a snowy day or drinking hot chocolate after a ski/ snowboard day or barbecuing on the deck after water sports/ beach day/ hiking at Pinecrest.
