A very spacious home, with lots of land around it, very well taken care of. I had an amazing stay with my family, will recommend. Has various activities for fun and the host were marvelous and very friendly.
Beautiful country home with all you need to entertain adults and children alike. Great pool, well stocked kitchen, basketball and play area. The fire pit and swings were a great addition. Thanks for a great place for our family reunion.
Nice instate property with lots of comfortable bedrooms! Good for my family of 8 and more to spare. Fun pool, outdoor area with swings and fire pit. Easy kayaking in very close lake and small fishing pond ! Overall fun 4 day vacation!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We played games, worked on puzzles, and enjoyed cooking together. We sat around the fire pit every night. We took our paddle boards and found it very easy to access the lake from the property. The lake was very warm and muddy, but that certainly didn’t stop the kids from swimming.
We had a wonderful time at this property. The owner was easily accessible through text and phone and very responsive. We were able to do a variety of activities from kayaking and exploring to archery and target shooting. We also enjoyed the swinging benches and firepit. There were ample beds to accommodate our large family. Thanks for everything, Mr. and Mrs. Bell!
My family had a great experience here. Home is clean, cozy, and plenty large enough for a group. Great kitchen layout and had all that was needed for us to cook and serve our Christmas dinner. We played outside and had plenty to do without even bothering to go into Tulsa for entertainment. Owners were friendly, accommodating, and easy to contact. I would definitely recommend this VRBO or stay here again. Listing is accurate - if you are looking for something pet friendly, make sure you read and understand that pets should stay outside or in the sunroom and that that works for your needs before booking. There is no internet or TV, which was no problem for us.
This place was absolutely perfect for our family reunion! The photos really don't do justice to the lovely indoor and spacious outdoor areas. As a large group (14 staying in the house, and up to 7 staying off-site but visiting during the daytime), the space had even more than needed areas for spreading out into smaller groups. There were three table options for mealtime inside, plus tons of space on the outdoor porch. The back porch was so pleasantly in the shade all day long, making it nice to be outdoors at any time, even though we visited in the heat of June. We loved seeing fireflies at dusk - and on that note, we do recommend using mosquito spray when outside. Our group very much enjoyed the use of the 2 kayaks and canoe on the nearby pond and for the short hike out to the river. The kids all enjoyed the outdoor trimmed grass area, pool, basketball court with lots of kiddie options for them to play with. Tricia, the host was amazing in her quick responses and hospitality. She was so warm, welcoming, and helpful. The kitchen was so well stocked with all we needed for our cooking purposes. We would definitely recommend this home to others!
Our extended family group of 2-60+ had a great time at Bells Quiet Country Home. The owners were very responsive and made for an easy stay. The property was quiet and private. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The house had plenty of sleeping areas and bathrooms for our large group. The kitchen was wonderfully placed and stocked with everything you could ever want for vacation mealtime. The kids really enjoyed the pool, the concrete area for bikes and basketball, and the swing set. We enjoyed hanging out with Benton (the cat) and watching the horses in the nearby pasture. On the few rainy days we had, the back porch was perfect for weather watching and reading a book. We took kayaks down to the creek/river. The water was probably less than 3 feet deep in most areas while we were there which made it perfect for the kids to explore without mom being too uneasy. We did do a little fishing in the creek and the small pond on site. The public swimming area at Heyburn Lake was nice for an afternoon of fun. We also made a trip to the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum in Sapulpa which was a nice foray off the property, some neat old cars and a welcoming staff. We would highly recommend a stay at Bells Quiet Country Home.
This was a memorable family stay. This was a basket of family time, stillness, and fun surrounded by love topped off with a bow. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. This is the place to be disconnected from the world. No TV, video games or wifi. Cell service is fine outdoors. I loved having the whole family and friends play games, interact with each other. This house is not perfect but it’s imperfect beauty is the charm, ease of the country. The swings are serene to sit on with a morning drink. Just so much still to let you recharge. So many beautiful things to look at and admire. Beauty in every direction. No sounds , or constant stimulus. A chance to be still , and recharge. We swam every day 2xs a day and had a blast. There were 8 of us in the pool and still plenty of room. Our host was super helpful, easy to contact and anything we forgot at home seems they had for us. You will not regret staying here to enjoy nature, stillness, recharge and connect with family. There is still time to visit local area. We went to Rt 66 car museum so beautiful. I think the aquarium in Jenks is the best aquarium I have seen yet. Patriot Cafe was huge portions, great food and amazing staff. Los Cabo’s Mexican grill and Cantina did not disappoint! Great Mexican food, staff very friendly and the food divine!! We are out for lunch and made dinner and memories. Overall an Amazing weekend of connecting with family and friends.
My family loves to get away from hustle and bustle for our vacations...this property allowed just that! Everything we wanted to do was right there on the property...fish, swim, kayak, hike, explore, eat, sleep! Tricia was easily contacted for anything we might need. Thanks for everything!
We enjoyed our stay at the Bells property. It is quiet and relaxing. Didn't leave the property for our long weekend. Kids enjoyed catching perch in pond. Loved the pool. Loved sitting around outside the fire pit swings. Our stay was in hot weather of July, but always a nice breeze if you were in the shade. Tricia was easy to work with and available via phone/text for questions.
We were not able to take advantage of all the fabulous things this property had to offer due to real life intruding, so I can't review it all, but we enjoyed our stay immensely! Tricia was a wonderfully responsive hostess.
I have always wanted to take a family vacation so i decided to rent this beautiful house and spend 3 days with my family. It has an amazing pool, and and awesome patio just to relax. I have 2 stepsons and their wives and 2 children of my own with my husband, and 8 out of my 11 grandchildren got to go with us. We enjoyed the time together and spent one day at Yogi Bears Jellystone park at Lake Keystone. It was a very nice get a way. Big thank you to The Bell's for sharing their home with us.
We enjoyed the spacious property in the country and even saw deer nearby. We were able to put 10 people in beds with enough room to live in with the large living area. We appreciated use of the grill and used it for 2 of our 3 nites (third nite was a boating day at Keystone lake). It was a very peaceful stay and our 3 year old grandson loved it.
We had a large group with multiple families. With the age of our kids the lack of Wi-Fi and TV would have been a deal breaker unfortunately. The pool was great but unfavorable weather made that difficult. The property itself is beautiful. If you are looking to unplug and unwind with the family I would recommend this home.
I wanted a place that my family could come to enjoy and just be together. The area is so quiet and the fire pit is amazing. We spent every night on the swings talking, laughing, and sharing stories with the younger ones. We took the kids fishing and got to pet the horses. Over all the place is amazing.
P.S. There are 5 bedrooms all with very comfortable beds but I slept on the couch in the back sunroom, the cool breeze and the night sounds made for the best nights sleep.
We needed to check out from the daily grind before school starts up. I left behind the work laptop and phone. No TV on the main floor. It was great! We spent a lot of time together petting horses, swimming, fishing in the pond or lake, and shooting. We spent evenings on the swings watching fireflies and stars.
The house itself was very clean and well supplied. The owner gave us tips on fun places in Tulsa. They were kind and on top of it any time we reached out. Parents, teens and younger kids all had a good time. Looking forward to the next time we can make the trip up. Thanks!
We had a blast. There were 10 of us including 4 kids and we all had so much fun. We drove to keystone lake rented a boat. Played in the sandy beach at Heyburn lake. Fished in the pond, pet the horses and of course made a campfire with s’mores. Kids swam in the pool constantly. Host was easily accessible. Would highly recommend !
