This lovely “City and Sea" apartment is located in the city center, 5 mins walk to the Diocletian's Palace on one side and 5 mins walk to Marjan Park on the other side where many beaches are located (rock, sand and pebble). The location is this apartment’s biggest strength. It is newly renovated, designed to provide comfort with style. "City and Sea" is well equipped and surrounded with anything you might need within walking distance (stores, cafés, restaurants). For more info, please see below. Neighborhood
Just 5 min walk from the apartment is hill Marjan. There are many beaches, where you can hide on secluded ones or enjoy after beach parties . If you are not up for swimming, you can rent a bike or just go hiking on Marjan.
Old city Varos is 3 min walk from the apartment where you can enjoy strall in small old alleys. Just few hundred meters further and you will be in the Diocletian's palace. There you can explore many charming caffes, wine bars and restaurants. Prosciutto is a must try! It is a vibrant place not to miss in the mornings to have you first coffe and breakfast on the promanade Riva suranded by palm trees and also in the evenings to enjoy good meal with dalmatian vine while listening live music. Many night clubs are 10-15 min walking distance from the apartment.
Within 300 m, you can find stores (Lidl, Tomy, Bipa, Konzum), caffes, restaurants, pizza place, pharmacy, post office... all you might need during your stay.
If you'd like to explore other beaches in the city, public transportation is just 100 m away from the apt that will take you directly to beach Znjan, Obojena or Kasuni.
In case you'd like to take 1 day trip to Trogir or Omis, public transportation that will take you there is 10-15 min walk from the apt. But we can help you with the details, once you get here ;)

A great place to stay when visiting Split

This is a great pick for touring Split with many attractions within walking distance. The home is clean and efficient and very comfortable. The hosts are very attentive.

Lovely apartment in a good area of Split. Close to supermarkets and a coffee shop. Walkable into Split old town. Apartment was spacious and modern and had every amenity you could want. A big thank you to our kind hosts.

Perfect local stay in Split

We had a wonderful time in this apartment, which is a short walk from the old town but with a local neighborhood feel! Rooms were very spacious and apartment stocked with the basics. Grocery shop across the road was very handy and hosts were very responsive. Would stay again!

Great Apartment

Apartment was very clean and spacious with all the essentials needed. Short walk to Split centre and the harbour. The only issue was the bedroom i was in was next to the neighbouring flat and they were very noisy for a couple of nights, but other than that no issues.

Wonderful hosts

Lovely property with great hosts. Marin and Zrinka went above qnd beyond to help when our luggage unfortunately was lost. Spacious, clean apartment with great utilities (fruit and wine even provided!) And just 10 minutes walk to the old town. Highly recommend staying here.

Excellent stay at superb apartment

Modern and very clean 2BR apartment up just a short flight of stairs was perfect for our 3 night stay in Split. The location is an easy walk to the old city center, palace, clubs, and restaurants. Our hosts, Zrinka and Marin, were super in every way and we thank them for their special efforts to help us find a place to park our rental car. Highly recommend. Bill C.

Retirement celebration

The apartment was exactly as shown and fully equipped. The hosts were really helpful, friendly and accommodating. City & Sea is the perfect name as each were in easy walking distance. For our first ever visit to Split it ticked all our boxes. Would happily recommend this to anyone.

Spacious and Spotless

Fabulous apartment! We love everything about this apartment. The location is only about a 10 minute walk to the Riva. Our hosts were very responsive to our questions and recommended good restaurants. They left a nice package of goodies for our arrival which was much appreciated. I would stay here again and again! Added bonus to have a grocery store across the street too!

Nicely appointed, clean apartment

We had difficulty finding the apartment as we never received the full address (just the street address). Once inside, though, the apartment was clean and comfortable. The fruit and wine left by the host were a lovely touch. Of note, the AC is only in the main room, so if you sleep with your bedroom door shut, it will be very hot. The location is fine - more urban than quaint. All and all, a perfectly lovely apartment if you just need a place to lay your head.

Exceptional host with very nice apartment

APARTMENT - very nice, spacious bedrooms & living room area - even bedroom that faces busy street wasn't too loud with fan turned on as background noise - 1st floor made it nice to only have to carry luggage a few stairs from entrance - didn't cook, but looked like it had everything one would need - bottle of wine in the fridge & basket of goodies on the kitchen table was a nice touch LOCATION A little far, but nice to be away from the touristy Old Town HOST Our host was very nice and proactive. He helped advise us about transportation to the apartment, was nice to run air conditioning all day so the it was nice and cold when we arrived. We especially appreciated that as Split hit an all-time record high temp for June the week we stayed. There was also a regional power outage when we visited, and without prompting, Marin reached out during the power outage to make sure we were safe and comfortable, and provide us updates as he heard them on the news.

Lovely apartment & convenient location

The apartment was very nice and we greatly appreciated the property owner’s flexibility letting us check in an hour early. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was very clean and it was so nice to have wine, fruit & chocolates provided upon arrival. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier. The only downside of our stay was that the hot water tank is very small so the last 2 people that showered had no hot water. For 4 adults we also could’ve used 2 more larger bath towels. Another thing to keep in mind is that the air conditioning unit is in the living room so we had to sleep with our bedroom doors open otherwise it was very hot. This wasn’t a problem for us but worth noting. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

The place is very clean and relatively large. Unfortunately we had a problem finding parking and once we finally found a spot we’re too afraid to use our car the rest of the trip so took Ubers so we wouldn’t have to find parking again. It is not in the nicest area, not terrible, just not that close to everything. Our rooms smelled like cigarettes for the first day and a half before they finally aired out mostly. The hosts were very responsive though and check in and out were easy. The WiFi wasn’t working but hosts fixed it quickly. Overall the place is ok. There are some pros but definitely some cons to consider when choosing a place.

Great location, helpful hosts

The hosts were very helpful with getting us taxis and for accommodating early arrival times. The location was close to the historic center and there were groceries stores near by. The apartment was comfortable And had everything we needed. Would recommend staying here if in Split. We were able to park for free across the road

What makes this property unique

Property is in the peaceful area but close to the Dioclation palace and park forest Marjan. It's position is its main strength. You can be on the beach within 5-10 minutes. We like walking on Marjan, breathing in fresh air from pine trees, smell the sea and relax with the sounds of waves and crickets. All the Mediteranian's best! In the evenings, bars, restaurants and live music on the main promenade Riva make it vibrant summer place. For the rest of the seasons, when it is not so hot, Riva is most lively in the morning where everyone enjoys a cup of coffee in the shade of a palm tree.
Beside its location, you will love the property's interior. It is decorated with relaxing colours and designed with comfort in mind, just to make your stay cozy.
