Casa Chanty comprises two independent, separate, and awe-inspiring beachfront apartments, each offering a distinct level of comfort and privacy—the 4 Bdrs. “Penthouse" occupies the top floor and accommodates up to 9 guests. From its circular glass front wall, you can revel in a panoramic 180° view of the Caribbean Sea and the stunning beach. Truly a sight to behold!

The two units share only the outdoor common areas. A long span of white sandy beach stretches in front of the house, offering seclusion and an unparalleled, paradise-like experience. You'll find yourself just 5 meters away from the water's edge!

Apartment Description:
Step into the spacious kitchen, seamlessly connected to the dining and living area, creating an open and inviting space. The sliding doors lead to a terrace where you can bask in the awe-inspiring view of the Caribbean. The kitchen is fully equipped, ensuring you have everything you need for your culinary endeavors. The living room features plush leather sofas and a satellite TV for your entertainment.

The beachfront pool is a tranquil oasis where you can unwind while admiring the breathtaking view of the beach and sea. Rest assured, the atmosphere at Casa Chanty is always discreet and quiet, allowing you to fully enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of this secluded location.

Chef at Home Service:
Enhance your stay with our Chef at Home service, provided by Chef Beto. Indulge in his delectable culinary creations for daily lunch and dinner. The cost varies depending on the number of people and does not include food expenses. Chef Beto, a Mexican native, takes great care in preparing dishes that our customers deeply appreciate. His prices are fair and reasonable.

2 to 5 people: $ 85 USD
5 to 8 people: $105 USD
8 to 10 people: $130 USD

Additionally, we offer a Welcome Dinner for $35 USD per person, which includes food. A minimum of 4 guests is required for this option and $ 45 USD if only 2. Chef Beto can also assist with grocery shopping at the supermarket for an extra fee starting at $15.

Wonderful beach oasis near Playa del Carmen

Everything was very smooth for our entire stay. The beach is beautiful and steps away. The drive to Playa del Carmen for evening activities is quite short, but I recommend you get a taxi for the round trip.

Relaxing stay

Great place to stay - we rented the penthouse unit - the loft bedroom is closed off so is truly a bedroom - lots of space - for sure ask about BETO as a daily cook! You will need a car - there is not much to do but sand and surf. (Which was what we were looking for) Very relaxing time - we enjoyed our stay!

We love Playa

Views from the property are beautiful! The kitchen had everything we could need. The property manager was always kind and very helpful. My only complaint was that we never had hot water for showers or doing the dishes. We will stay here again!

Caribbean getaway

My husband and I stayed 10 days and loved every moment. The location is incredible. The property manager was available to help us with whatever we needed. Damien was the young many that cleaned for us a was great! We had Chef Beto cook for us several times and thoroughly enjoyed his food!

One of my best vacations

This property is great it has a bungalo cabin vibe, the view is beautiful and there is so much room and things to do, really like the location it is quiet and quite seclusive I would recommend renting a car if staying here though because the taxis charge an insane amount of money everything we needed was a 10 minute drive away and if you want the life of cancun it is about 25 minutes although we had a good time only going there twice staying at the house alone is amazing and relaxing will definitely book again if I decide to come out to cancun again (PERFECT FOR FAMILIES)

2nd time and will be back for a 3rd time

This was our second time there and it was even better than the great first time. This time we were on the top unit which offered nicer views. Plus the seaweed was not bad this time compared to last time. But they do go out and rake it up each day. Great place to stay and the staff is great to work with. Plus they have 3 great dogs that will go play in the surf with you.

Amazing experience! Highly recommend!

My friends and I stayed in the Casa Chanty Penthouse for a girls week trip, and we can't even tell you how amazing of a stay it was! The pictures, although beautiful, do not even do this place justice. The penthouse is perfect for a larger group (we had 10 girls) and there was plenty of room for all of us. The beach is immaculate. There are no rocks, all white sand, and the water is so clear. If you're looking for a relaxing and fun getaway, look no further than Casa Chanty! It's also only 20 minutes from the Cancun airport and super convenient! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back in the future!!

Could use some love and update

The location was awesome, however, this property needs some renovation (furniture, broken handles& facets, kitchen utensils, ice tray, more hangers, etc.)with a priority to improved water system. Heated water was limited given 3 rental properties on site. The odor of water and drainage needs attention. Better filters and cleaned drain lines for odor.

Hi Terry and thank you for take the time for leaving this review Its unfortunately when I read these things I understand that guests are not all the same and have different point of view, the week before a customer left he wrote exceptional things about the penthouse that was amazing , and then I read your reviews and it is very important to know people's point of view and I think that criticisms are constructive and help to always improve, however I do not agree on certain aspects, it seems to me that you have made a list of things that do not correspond to reality, the only one thing that And real is the water that The week you came on vacation it rained so much that it says notes they communicated with the aquifers and therefore the smell of sulfur That is strong it felt You're right, but the water passes through filters activated carbon and is added to chlorine continuously That week was a bit particular as you well know there was a tropical storm in progress. As regards the kitchen utensils, some in plastic above all they can be Not perfect but for this we have a manager and an on site employee who can replace or buy anything you need , Just need to Ask, We cannot know if some locks are damaged or if some screws are missing from the the doors or the handles because we have check in and check out every week and it is difficult to be able to see everything on time but if you report it to us ,we promptly solve all the problems, I personally have just returned from London where I rented an apartment which if and I would have had a very long negative list to do because there was nothing in that house besides humidity, old furniture, small bath. with no windows, and many other really serious problems, but I didn't write anything because I still enjoyed my vacation, which I needed to visit London and I have not given too much importance to these things, I will report them privately to the owner so that he takes note of them, the problems I had are Not at all comparable to the penthouse we rented to you , you can see at the previous Reviews, they are obviously different points of view , however, I repeat, thank you very much because I appreciate and I have taken everything you said into consideration and I have already had it checked and arrange, so that everything is perfect for the new guests. thanks again and good week end Sincerely Cristina

Family vacation

Location : For us, the location was perfect. The home is located between Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. 20 mins from the airport, 20 mins to Playa Del Carmen, 12 mins to Puerto Morelos for shopping , restaurants, and groceries. The stretch of beach is secluded with only the residences near having access to the beach. I rate the location a 10 Property : We stayed in the penthouse. The views from the living room, kitchen, and outside dining area are amazing. The bathroom and bedrooms are spacious, and the kitchen is well equipped for those that enjoy cooking. The pool and outdoor space is a great place to relax , eat and enjoy the sunrise. I rate the penthouse suite a 10 Staff : Our first two days we had Beto ( chef ) make us breakfast and lunch. He was very accommodating and the food was great. Daily the staff checked in and made sure we had everything we needed. One of the owner's lives onsite ( detached house in the front of the property ) he's always available to help and answer questions. I rate the staff a 10 Overall 10, we would rent this again.

Great getaway

We stayed in the penthouse for one week at the end of March. Pros: Location - the beach is phenomenal, the outdoor area is so welcoming, well organized and conducive to enjoying time and meals together. It’s close to Canun, Puerto Morales and Playa del Carmen for day trips. The house has everything you need but it’s definitely not luxurious - more like a family cottage. All staff and host are very friendly and helpful. Dogs on the property are great. Beach was cleaned of Sargassum every day and as a result was one of the best spots for swimming. Lots of beach area for long walks Nice and private except for any tenants on the lower level. Cons: Some of the beach equipment needs replacing - the paddle board leaked so much we couldn’t carry it back up the beach and the paddle is not very rigid. The loft with room for 4 is not very practical, it has a tight cylindrical staircase with two low beams at the top so any reasonably sized adult needs to bend over significantly to get in or out. There is no washroom up there so you’d have the beams and stairs to contend with if you get up at night. If there are people staying in the lower level you’ll need to be accommodating with regard to sharing the outdoor areas and beach equipment. We actually met some wonderful people staying on the lower level but it may not be what you’re looking for on a vacation. We had a fantastic relaxing time a Casa Chanty - the location and views make it so you can’t help but unwind. Would recommend.

Exactly as advertised and portrayed.

An amazing home on an amazing piece of property. Exactly as described and as in pictures. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and all was in working order, with almost anything you might need. We made good use of the blender! A cooler was available if you were planning any day trips. The winds were blowing nicely during our stay so we had little need for a.c.. We kept the windows and doors wide open. No bugs! The winds made the ocean perfect for body surfing and boogie boards which were available at the house for guest use. One day the winds quieted down and we took out the kayaks. Gear fun! Very quiet beach, not a lot of foot traffic. We had a lot of seaweed the week we stayed but it was raked up daily, so not an issue. The outside shower is a nice feature too. Pool was clean and a comfortable temperature. The security gate and guard added to my families comfort. I would say that the 3 dogs on the property added to the safe feeling but they were so cute and friendly. They wouldn't harm a fly! I hope Alberto posts pictures of Bandito so the kids can watch him grow! Alberto is always somewhere close by to help out or answer questions, like when my rental car died! Short distance from Puerto Morelos, perfect for dinner and entertainment, filled with lots of little shops and a great super market. My family off 9, including 2 tweens and 3 young 20 yr old's had an amazing stay in the Penthouse of Casa Chanty and would love to stay there again! Great bang for the buck

The property was pretty much as I expected based on the photos. The beach is fabulous, quite secluded, you will only get a few random people walking past you every day. The unit itself was clean and well kept, we will definitely stay here again. The pool is quite small but it was great to float in with a margarita in hand, great to wash away the salt water after you get out of the ocean. The seaweed is a problem at all beaches in the Mayan Riviera from March to late June. They cleaned the seaweed every day as best as they could, some days the seaweed was completely washed away, other times it was inundated. Overall this beach was very good compared to most other beaches we saw all along the coast. Great bang for the buck.

Very nice private house

All was smooth with rental and check in. The house is vey open and has a great view. The beds are comfortable and linen on the bedS as well. Towels are older and a bit scratchy. Kitchen is sparsely outfitted with cooking gear. Overall, the house needs a DEEP clean and spruce up. (Example: Kitchen drawers have food stains and crumbs in them and the flooring on the deck is cracked and could easily cut a persons foot.) The pool area is quite nice and the water warm and inviting. The beach walks every morning we’re fantastic and as expected there is Seaweed. Other properties cleaned the beach in front daily but this was not done at Casa Chanty. The friendly dogs were nice to come home to. Damien was lovely and helpful (though at times we steered clear due to his smoking cigarettes) Bottom line-lovely beach and pool area of Casa Chanty at Playa Secreto felt safe and private. These were the best features for us. We had Chef Beto come twice and he was super nice and the food tasty. I highly recommend him as an add on to your vacation.

Dear Toya Thank you for taking the time to leave a review I'm glad you liked the location the beach make Playa del Secreto infact it's a fantastic and private location where you feel really good and safe. I just wanted to answer the comments you made the first one concerns the following ,which in the last two years we absolutely never had been present of seaweed on our beach except for the unexpected arrival in the last 10 days the photos taken at the beginning of March show the total absence of seaweed, Unfortunately, being a natural phenomenon, their transit is not predictable our employeed However every morning they always clean the beach except Sunday which is their day of rest since we are not a hotel but a private vacation home. with regard to the house we always do our best to clean and disinfect it especially the bathrooms and bedrooms it may be that the kitchen cannot be cleaned deeply since on Saturdays there are check outs and check-ins the house is very large and it takes a lot time to clean it, and maybe some details in the kitchen inside the drawers may not be completely perfect, we usually do the deep cleaning when we have at least a couple of days between a rental and the other I'm sure you have appreciated the excellent value for money of the villa and its installations. Private Beach Perfection

Cristina’s place is incredible - the house is just as it’s pictured, and the location is even more incredible. The house in is a private neighborhood so you have the gorgeous beach almost to yourself, and the views from the penthouse are amazing. We spent lots of time in the ocean and pool - you really don’t need to leave for anything once you’ve arrived. Definitely do a dinner with Chef Beto during your stay, and give the house manager’s three adorable dogs lots of pets!

Family vaca

We chose casa chanty after seeing the incredible pictures online. It did not disappoint. It is exactly as shown. The property is so beautiful and the house has everything you would need for a relaxing vacation. The location directly on the private beach is perfect. With the palapas, lounges and hammocks, my family utilized it all. Alberto and Damien are there for all your needs and can answer questions you may have about places to see and experience. The doggy welcoming crew are so cute and friendly, they made it feel more homey. Puerto Morelos is a close 15 min drive with groceries, restaurants and shopping. While there we celebrated my daughters 26 birthday and had Chef Beto cook a celebration dinner for our family. His food is phenomenal and they left us stuffed with a clean kitchen and leftovers. He brought fresh caught lobster which was the highlight of our dinner and topped it off with homemade churros. We usually vacation in Hawaii but now that we’ve found Casa Chanty, I could care less if I go back to Hawaii. Mexico will be our new go to. Much more affordable and friendlier people. I’m recommending this place to all my friends and family. Thank you Christina for opening your amazing place for memories to be made!!😊🌴

Great place to stay!

Wonderful place to stay. More people around the property than expected but it was still fairly private. If looking for a place to sleep in late, this might not be it but if you are a heavy sleeper it would be ok. Staff was friendly and helpful, house was very clean. Beach is nice, they rake it frequently. View is amazing! And washer/dryer didn’t really work so don’t count on that. Overall phenomenal experience. Thank you!
