Villa Thalatta-Thalatta , which took its name from Xenophon’s well-known phrase, is built in idyllic natural environment with wonderful view , nearly at the edge of a cliff and its style is totally based on the traditional stone-built architecture of KEA, offering ideal accommodation.
Villa “Thalatta-Thalatta” in an effort to honour some of the famous visitors who have been hosted in our premises, has named after them three of its rooms . The first one is given the name of the famous travel writer Patrick Lee Fermor, the second the name of the Argentinian writer Horhe Louis Borhes and the third one the name of the Greek painter George Stathopoulos. In all three rooms you can see pictures and personal belongings of all of them
The whole construction is based on the stone-built architecture of the islandhaving as its main priority to promote the natural beauty of the environment and the spectacular view.
Thalatta-Thalatta, is equipped with comfortable and handy accommodation spaces together with its unique attraction, a small theatre which is situated just in front of the endless Aegean sea blue. This small theatre was the main reason why the directors of the cultural organization ARCADIA decided to award us the first prize as being the only place in Europe where natural beauty and civilization co-exist.

Thalatta-Thalatta is regarded as an architectural accomplishment and is built at the edge of a cliff next to the magic nature of the island of KEA at Kastri, just about 10Km from the island’s port.
