This is a very nice property in the heart of Annapolis. The house is historic so it is not open concept. But the individual spaces were perfect for us in that we could have some people talking in the kitchen and others in the sun room. The property has outdoor space which is at a premium in historic Annapolis. We did use this space and enjoyed it very much. Check-in was a breeze. Lived this property!
This quaint home on the Historic Register is the perfect location near the Naval Academy. We had older family members and they were able to walk back and forth as necessary. Every detail has been thought of! Really enjoyed our stay.
What an amazing place! Perfect in every way. We had a large group coming in for reunion, and didn’t want a bunch of hotel rooms… we wanted to hang out and share “sea stories”, and be close to the action. This place was amazing!!!! We are already planning another trip … and this will be our Annapolis Go To!
Simultaneous boat show + 4 reunions + football weekend seriously limited convenient and affordable hotel options in town. Susan's house was a better choice in any case. Perfect for our 9-adult get together. Fully equipped kitchen was perfect. Thank you, Susan, for a great weekend with friends. We will visit again soon!
This property was ideal for a family gathering. We had five couples in town for a wedding at St. Mary's and reception at the Annapolis Yacht Club. Everything you need is located within a few blocks of this home. A quick walk through the alley and you are in the middle of great restaurants, bars and shops. The host, Susan, was very attentive and helped answer several questions I had. I will definitely return on my next visit.
Location location location!! So easy to USNA and downtown. Comfortable rooms and beds and historic charm. Not fancy but cozy and character with room for a big geoup.
Fantastic property right in the heart of Annapolis, one block from the harbor and the academy. Five bedrooms with full beds was fantastic for my group. Would readily return here for my next visit to Annapolis!
I was in town for a conference and needed rooms for 4 people. This house is perfectly located for anyone looking for a traditional Annapolis experience. It’s a great house w lots of room. We loved our 2 night stay and will look at this house again next year when we come in town.
Located in the historic center of Annapolis, the property is professionally well maintained. It was very kind of Susan that we could check out after the regular check-out time with our changed schedule due to the heat wave weather. This was a great help for our family with my elder mother.
This is a a very special property. The character of this historical house is amazing. And with it’s location in old Annapolis, next to the Naval Academy, this is one of a kind!
Enjoyed our stay here....water pressure on upper BR's weak..and takes 5 min to get hot. Liked A/C in every room. Liked spacious areas and plenty of room to spread out. Perfect location for walking downtown to shops and restaurants. FYI, wasn't an issue for us but during heavy rain there were a few water drips from ceiling on1st floor back porch. Placed a paper towel at the spot. Just wanted you to be aware in case it was something you wanted to have checked out. THX for an enjoyable stay! We will come back again sometime!!
The property was very charming and fit our group of 10 quite comfortably. We could walk to all of our favorite spots and can't wait to stay here again next year.
We had an awesome Thanksgiving together. The property was perfect for our group. There were plenty of rooms and all well appointed. We especially liked the morning sun in the back porch-room. Everything we needed was there in the kitchen for preparing meals, and we loved being able to walk into town. Annapolis is a beautiful town and this property was a really fun, old building right in the heart of town.
Our group of 6 adults were so comfortable in this lovely historic home. We all enjoyed the accommodations including the outdoor space and how close it was to the Naval Academy and restaurants. Parking and unloading briefly on the street and then moving to the free garage later was no problem at all! We will be looking to staying there again! Thank you!
This house is quintessential Annapolis and in the heart of everything in the city. The house is old, but is well kept and has a lot of rooms for all your guest gatherings. Susan was great to communicate with and always available when needed!
In town for wedding at Governor Calvert Inn. Perfect location. Easuly enough bathrooms for 10 people to get dressed and ready. Great relaxatuon before and after. Would stay again and have already recommended to others.
