About this property

200 year old converted cottage near Bergerac

La Petite Grange can be found in the commune of Saint Germain et Mons, just 11 km east of Bergerac, with the river Dordogne flowing along the bottom of the garden. The cottage has been lovingly and thoughtfully converted to reveal original stonework and oak beams.

This charming property is all on one level making it ideal with elderly people. It is very comfortable and spacious, giving plenty of room for just 2 people. Tiled throughout, it has a sitting room, dining/kitchen area, double bedroom and en-suite shower room. An original stone wall has been revealed dividing the sitting room and kitchen area, giving the cottage plenty of character. It is furnished with French furniture and has French television.

Delights of the Dordogne
My wife and I were very impressed with this property and especially the care and consideration given. Our car broke down whilst staying there and our hosts could not have been more helpful in going out of their way to help us including organising an extra week's accommodation with them until it was fixed. The property itself although small was more than adequate for two people with every amenity to hand. Thank you very much.
