Cute cabin and easy access to a beautiful lake. Kayaking in the morning with hardley anyone else on the lake. Love the "no wake rule" til after 11 AM.the hosts were especially nice and helpful. Wish we had booked for the whole week but we had other plans. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect summer getaway
We absolutely loved staying here! The hosts are very friendly and stay on the property. We had fun kayaking, fishing, biking and playing games during our stay. About 20 minutes by car from the property is a nice Amish shop where you can get freshly baked goods. Ten minutes walking from the property is an ice cream shop we highly recommend. If ever we’re in the area again we will definitely rebook this place. Also, the lake is clean with a sand bottom so you can see in the water instead of most murky lakes in the Midwest ;)
Our family had a wonderful time, even with some undesirable weather. There were activities for the kids inside while it rained. They fished for hours when it was a bit too cool to go swimming. And then when it was finally nice out we were able to kayak as a family and take a look a the lake. There was plenty of space off the dock for them to swim, or just wade in the water. The owners were so helpful and sweet. A little birdie (one of the kids) let it slip it was my birthday and I woke up to a happy birthday sign outside the house. It just made things seem that much more special. We already have talked about coming back again in the future.
We were surprised by level of consideration that the hosts showed. They thought of everything. From the big stuff like, kayaks and bikes, to the little things like, nail polish (and remover), cooking spices, and dental flossers, everything you need to make your stay fun and comfortable is waiting for you at the cabin. The hosts were kind, respectful of privacy, and friendly. They took us for an evening boat ride. The lakefront has a small sandy area that's perfect for small kids to play or to put your beach chair in and soak up the sun. You couldn't ask for an easier getaway. The cabin easily sleeps four, though the bedroom isn't completely closed off from the main area. There's enough privacy with the bedroom setup for your typical family vacation though, as it is partitioned off. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Relaxing Getaway
The property was as promised. The lake was beautiful and our hosts were wonderful.
My small family loved our time on the lake. The house had more than we needed to make our stay comfortable. The hosts were on site and so sweet. Wonderful community and peaceful time. Just what we needed for a small getaway together as a family.
COTTAGE DECORATED CUTE FOR FALL. HOWEVER THERE WERE SEVERAL WINDOWS THAT WOULD NOT CLOSE. MULTIPLE EXTENSION CORDS WERE IN USE. IT WAS A COLD AND WINDY DAY SO THE HEATER KICKED ON ABOUT EVERY 5 MINUTES BECAUSE OF THE WINDOW ISSUE. THIS COULD BE A VERY CUTE PLACE TO STAY FOR THE WARMER MONTHS BUT NOT IN THE COOLER MONTHS UNLESS THE WINDOWS ARE FIXED.
What a great cabin on Lake George! Many amenities that help the stay seem more "homey" than "cabiny". We enjoyed our week-long stay and will probably book again in the future!
We spent 4 days in Mike's cabin, it was so peaceful. My daughters enjoyed fishing and kayaking on the lake.
The cabin is well furnished and you can find everything you need (and more).
Checkin ou checkout was easy as Mike is very quick to answer our questions.
Tammy and Mike’s cabin on the lake is perfect for a quiet getaway on beautiful Lake George. The cabin had everything we needed. The extra touches like spa products and extra kitchen staples made the stay even better. They even invited us for sunset boat rides!
The wife and I took a quick weekend getaway. The owner has everything there you could think of to enjoy the lake. He's there to help with anything, but gives you all the privacy you need.
We will be back for our next quick getaway!
The property was just as shown. Clean, comfortable and very well stocked...even though we brought most of what we needed. Beautiful lake view and so relaxing. Loved sitting down by the lake in the evening with a nice campfire.
Mike answered any questions right away...a great host!
If you’re looking for a Michigan up north g9 away, this is the place for you. The cabin is tastefully decorated and cozy. The dining table, triple bunk bed, and full-size bed are crafted from log style wood. The bathroom is what you would typically find in an up north cabin. The lake is clean and there are plenty of fish to be caught off the dock. My daughter and sons fished all week. Mike is an especially great host and was very accommodating when we had some unexpected changes to our plans. The only real drawback to the property would be the layout of the stairs to get down to the water and patio are not very elderly people friendly. So if you are not too steady on your feet or if you have guests who will be coming to visit you while at the cabin who are elderly they may not be able to make it down to the beautiful patio at the water without assistance. However most lake home properties do have stairs going down to the water and this is just something to keep in mind if you are elderly or plan on having an elderly guests visit. Overall very satisfied with our rental.
The cottage was exactly as pictured. The owner was extremely courteous and helpful with questions. The experience was relaxing and exactly what we were looking for. Being right on the lake with access to kayaks, tubes, a pontoon (to rent), and so much more was such a huge bonus to the rental.
