With just over 10,000 square feet, Nottingham Lodge is a true Lodge with all bedrooms - ensuite, 1 half bath and two commercial restrooms on the main level/Level 2 down the hall from the living room. Also on the main level are 6 King bedrooms, 1 hot tub, 1 swim spa, natural gas line fire pit area, 2 natural gas line grills, 2 laundry units, double kitchen and an amazing large gas fireplace in the grand living room. It’s amazing! Nottingham Lodge greets you with a larger-than-life stacked stone fireplace Walk into the grand dining hall with the large log beams in the ceiling and the large wrought iron chandeliers. A beautiful, comfortable home for our 21-person multi-generational family. We enjoyed the large kitchen, and the close proximity of the pool. It was clean and well-cared for, and had all the room we needed. The younger generation really enjoyed the theater! Wifi was great.

Fantastic Lodge

We had a wonderful time staying here. The location was perfect and the lodge was beautiful. There was plenty of room for everyone to gather to talk, eat, and play games. We’re definitely looking at booking this property again.

What an awesome cabin!!

We took a group of students from our church to this cabin and WOW!! What a beautiful property!! It was everything we needed and more!! Any questions I had, the host was very quick to respond and very nice. The cabin overall was spacious and the floor plan and amen were very well thought out. I can’t say enough great things about this cabin and we’ll definitely be back!!

Thanksgiving stay

We had a large family reunion for Thanksgiving and this property was perfect. Very spacious with lots of room for everyone. Fully stocked kitchen and ice machine was very helpful with a large group. Would definitely book again.

Perfect cabin for a family reunion

Loved our time in the area and enjoyed the huge expanse of the cabin. Plenty of room for everyone. We saw bears one morning right outside the home, so cool! Host was great. Highly recommend!

Beautiful House

We brought a group of high-school honor students to Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg for four days. There was plenty of room for them to relax after our busy days. They enjoyed the hot tub and game room, had a great game of cornhole, and a lot of space for us to eat together! The kitchen was great for us to be able to cook without being in each other's way. This is the 2nd time our group has stayed here and we look forward to more!

Great place!

We had a group of 43 band students and parents. This was a GREAT place for a group....plenty to keep them busy and plenty of room to spread out. Having a couple of showers in the big community bathrooms would have been an excellent addition, considering we had some folks sleeping on sofa beds. Other than that, it was perfect for us.

Simply Fantastic!

We did a vow renewal here... plenty of room to host ~30 for a little ceremony... feed everyone in the massive kitchen and then enjoy the arcade/games and hot tubs! You really can’t ask for more from this giant and amazing cabin. The cabin management team is great and will make sure you have what you need. Highly recommended.

Great Deal!

The bottom line is this was a great property with lots to do in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Every year, a group of us friends (some single, some married) get together in a different part of the country to hang out with each other. We were all a little nervous about this area because we were concerned everything would be focused on kids. However, as adults, we all stayed busy and had enough to do for four days (hiking, go-karts, wine and whiskey tastings, etc.) The house was great and nobody felt like it was too crammed.

Family reunion

It was perfect for our group with many things to do at the property, close to Dollywood, kitchen area with 2 stoves, sinks, refrigerators, etc. One thing you could improve on would be more than 2 small dishtowels and dishcloths. We shouldn't be expected to bring our own or go buy some.

Nottingham lodge

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner was prompt in responding to anything that needing adjusting with our accomodations. The sauna was truly delightful. The rooms were nice. It was sooo worth it. We had no complaints out of our group and that's hard to do. The kitchen is open to the bedroom doors and the floors are super squeaky due to everything being solid wood. We had to do bedtime hours in the kitchen so people could sleep when they wanted, but that's the only adjustment we had to make. It was fabulous! We would go there again!

Cleanliness/updated bedding

Property could use new bedding throughout many of the bedrooms. The bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned. The ice machine had soda and cup inside from previous guests and there were ants and centipedes seen in some of the rooms (pest control would be very beneficial). With all of this being said… my family had a good time being together.

Large home, great for groups and family gatherings

Communication was excellent and the home is very well equipped and huge. It wasn’t dirty but it’s a large house and I am sure they turn it over quickly so there were a few things missed in cleaning. We called and they were very responsive and helpful. The neighborhood is nice but icy roads were dangerous and the main entrance blocked for 2 full days, so consider a 4Wd for winter. So many bedrooms and each with a private bath is a real benefit for our large groups with multiple families. Theater, game room and fireplace were favorite features. It feels like a mountain retreat, not part of the chaos of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinberg but very close if that’s what you want.

Spacious but dated

We needed a big space for a Retreat for Pastors and wives. This lodge could be fantastic if it had just a little updating. The spaces are amazing, the theater room, the game room, etc. It was nice to be able to gather eveyone together in the big living room in front of the fireplace. However, the mattresses and bedding, as well as pots and pans, were really in need of replacement. We switched rooms several times, trying to find a bed that didn’t hurt our backs. Also the cleaning crew needs to be consulted. I found a pair of ladies underwear in my towel, and there was a dress or nightgown on the back of a door downstairs in a bedroom. It made us wonder what else had been overlooked.

We'd stay here again

This location is very convenient. It is just minutes from the main strip in Pigeon Forge and right at the beginning of the drive to Gatlinburg. It is hilly and there are warnings about driving in that area when roads are bad. It isnt high up in the mountains but still steep hills. Plenty of flat parking at the house. The space is fabulous. Very spacious with lots of areas for fun or to spread out. The main sitting area is separated from the dining/kitchen with doors and was quiet and cozy with the fireplace. The communal furniture looked updated. Double appliances in kitchen. Bedrooms all had ceiling fans which I liked. Our mattress was fine, but several complained of old, saggy mattresses. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Our favorite things were ...the 16-person swim spa. Everyone got in and sang and told ghost stories. We grilled on the deck. Arcade games were popular. Fireplace was huge and drew people to it for conversation. Had a few repair issues that were addressed quickly. Cons...the bedding was worn, cheap, and some was stained. Comforters need a deep clean. Pillows were terrible. We moved sofas back to make a bigger circle and no one is cleaning under the furniture. Not great phone reception. A few non functioning items. Overall, we'd happily return.

Great location for a work retreat

We stayed at Nottingham Lodge for a leadership retreat and it was absolutely perfect for this purpose. Somehow felt both cozy and spacious. Lots of rooms and space for co-working.

FFBC Retreat 2025

We had 36 women from our church at our annual ladies retreat. The place was awesome. the communication with the owner was awesome. Anytime I had a question she was always quick to reply and resolve things. There were no major issues at all. We plan to stay there again next year if possible.

This cabin needs some TLC

We have stayed in MANY cabins over the years and this particular stay was the Most expensive one yet… a 10,000 stay… unfortunately it was also the dirtiest. Our review is based on a group of 27 people ranging of all ages… literally. We all came up with this review as a group to include everything we thinks other should know before their stay. - a lot of things were not clean. Stains on beds, dirty pillow cases, all the comforters had a musky smell like they hadn’t been washed in a long time. The throw blankets all also had a smell. Everything was extremely dusty, and the bottoms of a few of the bathtubs were black!!! -ALL the vents throughout the cabin are COVERED in dust!!! Air vent return in the kitchen was REALLY bad. - no matter where you are in the cabin you can hear everything!! There’s no where to get away from the noise. We Recommend trying to find a way to dampen the sound.
