This was the fourth year we spent a month or more at Fin n Pin in Red Lodge, MT. It has been a significant part of our lives over that period.
For our first visit in 2019 I practically had to drag my wife to come along. She did like being away from home for that long, and really did not like the thought of the drive. But she survived and Red Lodge is now one of her favorite places on earth. Fin n Pin is a big part of that.
As usual, we had a great month at Fin and Pin in Red Lodge Montana. Despite my wife’s broken foot which eliminated hiking, and the flooding that closed the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone NP, we had wonderful time. Red lodge is a gem of a small time, and Fin and Pin is one of the best places to enjoy it.
This property was ideal for the four of us (2 couples), having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was perfect, and the property was really nice, you can tell the owners put allot of effort into every detail to make it unique and comfy. We really enjoyed the ability to relax on either the deck or the patio below, and because it was located so close to downtown, we could easily access all food, shopping and festivities by just taking a short walk to main street. We would definitely like to stay here again if they were available for our next trip.
Fin and Pin is a gem in Red Lodge, MT. We have stayed there twice and are already booked for a return next year. The property is almost equidistant from Billings, MT, Cody,WY, and Yellowstone National Park, making day trips to any of those pretty easy. It is within walking distance of almost everything in Red Lodge. It boasts a large, fenced back yard that my small dog greatly enjoyed.
Had a really nice stay. The accommodations were very nice. The only issue was that it was such a hot week, air conditioning would have allowed us to be upstairs more.
Beautiful house. Short walk to downtown and all that it offers. The backyard was a HUGE perk for our dogs! Neighbors very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!
Great location, great view from toward mountains, well equipped, very comfortable. Have rented 4 homes in US, 1 in Europe, this was the best rental. There was nothing missing, from kitchen, cleaning, entertainment equipment-everything is well thought out. Everything was A-1, nothing second rate.
When we return to Red Lodge, this is where we want to stay.
Great location, easy walk to bars and restaurants.
The house is small, it has two bedrooms but I don’t think four adults would be very comfortable as far as space is concerned.
The upstairs bed/bedding was not very comfortable at all and the limited seating left a lot to be desired.
Home was very well equipped with plenty of just about anything you might need— spent many hours on the large deck— has a nice fenced in back yard—really enjoyed my time here.
Fin and Pin, fish and ski,a perfect setting for both.
Well located for an easy walk to every amenity in Red Lodge and the wild expanse of the Beartooth mountains. On May 24 we were able to back country ski Red Lodge Mountain in 2 feet of fresh snow. A very rewarding Memorial day weekend considering current circumstances.
We had a wonderful few days in red lodge. The accommodations were perfect for our needs - close to skiing and downtown. Nicely furnished and updated, with everything we needed.
We loved this property from the moment we walked inside! We have rented multiple properties in Red Lodge over the last decade, none better than this little ski cottage. The price, the location, the setup, all just what we needed! The owners have thought of everything you need to feel at home. We will return to stay again!
Nice cozy place to hang out after skiing or hiking. Love the fence of skis and the little book with recommendations on restaurants, etc. We enjoyed the short walk to restaurants and shopping and are glad we chose a place so close to the center of town. The only negative I can think of is there must have been a dog stay before us and so we were noticing dog hair on some of our clothing/bags.
This is a nice property for a family of 4 for a long weekend. The house is nicely stocked with everything you need. Everything was is good repair. Very cozy! We had a great time! I would rent this on the next ski trip if it were available.
Everything about the property and Red Lodge were above my expectations - Restaurants especially. Only recommendation I would make to the owner would be to add screen doors to both upstairs entries. Doors sometimes needed to be open for ventilation. That let in the air, but also the flies.

Cute but up and down steps multiple times
Didn't realize the only things downstairs were the entrance, garage, full size bed and bath. Kitchen, living room and queen size bed are upstairs. Just not very compatible with arthritic hips. Our dog loved the yard and we thought Red Lodge was very friendly. Were pleasantly surprised at the shops and restaurants that were still open. Has a great dog park with well behaved dogs.

Perfect!
We loved the cute house and lovely deck/ yard! We had a small dinner party and people commented they were jealous of our accommodations. Short walk to Main Street.

Cute place, so close to town and well equipped.
They only drawback was the noisy neighbors, but that was intermittent and to be expected in an in town property.
