We will stay in this house every North Conway trip for as long as it’s offered- we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. It truly is the perfect location for all seasons. There are plenty of spaces inside the house to gather as a family, and plenty of spaces to escape your family. The hosts answer questions immediately and are super friendly. It’s just an easy place to be. We love it.

Family 4th of July getaway

Everyone had a room, comfy and cozy. Plenty of dishes for cooking and eating at home before heading out to amusement parks and hikes! We had a great time!!

Great place to stay! Convenient to the mall, restaurants, Storyland and Kahuna Laguana. This place is well stocked, super clean, comfy beds, air conditioning, private, just everything and more! Wonderful stay

Fall Fun

The Casey Compound had it all! Open floor plan on the main level, which was good for eating and gathering. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms...perfect for a large group. Penney (owner) was great to communicate with and we would love to return next fall!

Absolutely wonderful property

A beautiful property with plenty of amenities! We went on a family vacation and this house had everything we needed! It was a delight working with Penny. Easy check in process, kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our family and lots of space! Very clean and well kept house with plenty of room for everyone. They had board games and an air hockey table for the family to play together during our down time. We will definitely stay again.

Perfect fall family reunion — at the base of Cranmore

We had a wonderful stay! Finding the right combination of rooms and space for our crew is tough but this was exactly what we needed! A wonderful kitchen to cook meals and apple pies. Enough room for everyone to sit at the table or watching a movie. Penney was great to communicate with. Made sure we had everything we needed. Quick to respond when we had questions. We can’t wait to go back. Being a former host, I say with confidence, an exceptional experience. The location is fantastic close to everything but tucked away to feel in the woods. Thank you Penney!

Great Stay in North Conway

Very attractive property conveniently located just outside North Conway. Is as advertised. Clean and well-kept. Spacious, comfortable and well-furnished. Exterior just got new paint job. We stayed in early August. Had great time kayaking and hiking. Owners Penney and David were pleasant, helpful, and responsive. Very few negatives. If anything, back patio could use a little work. Overall, had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

Fantastic summer rental

Stayed here w/ my husband and 4 teenage kids and everyone agreed it was the best place we’ve ever stayed in our 18 years of visiting N.Conway. The owners have thought of everything. The place is so thoughtfully furnished to be both comfortable and functional. The layout and bedrooms are perfect for mixed-generation groups. Plenty of space for us to all get together or to do our own thing. The decor is your traditional ski-house but with some cool art pieces mixed in here and there. There are plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, closet space, hooks, and storage areas. We had no issues whatsoever but if we had, Penney would have helped us right away. Any questions we had were immediately answered. This was a super hot July and I need air conditioning or I’m not having a good trip. While there is not central air here, there is an ac on each level and they kept the house cool. The loft was hot but we used some of the zillion provided fans to direct some of the AC up there. It cooled off at night anyway. Note that the AC on the floor with the 3 bedrooms is actually in one of the bedrooms, so whoever is in there might want to leave the door open to cool off the other rooms. This is all only important during a heat wave. But I figured I’d mention it in case you’re like me and need sub zero temperatures to be happy. Parking for 3 cars was great as we were all coming from different places. Check in was super easy. We would definitely return and hope to next summer!

Hello meet the Casey's, we are a family of 4 who love North Conway and all its attractions. We purchased this home in 2014 so we could be close to North Conway. We primarily use the house for skiing in the winter as both our girls are involved in sports most weekend during the summer. We love the outdoors and really look forward to going to NH every weekend from Thanksgiving to April. I'm confident you will fall in love with this town like we did many years ago.

Why they chose this property

We chose Cranmore Birches because of its location, we are walking distance from Cranmore Mountain and a 5 minute drive to downtown North Conway and all its attractions. This house was a perfect set up for us and there is plenty of room for families to spread out. The kitchen was completely renovated and bathrooms updated as well Mini split AC units.
