About this property
Dock on lake and our 750 sq ft cottage home at Kentucky Lake
Perfect Cottage for time away. It is a freshly renovation cottage which has 750 sq. ft. of living area. Steps lead down to Kentucky Lake and boat dock. Also, a deck with a pergola for relaxing with a fantastic view of Kentucky Lake. Watch the time go by or check out the boats. You will enjoy your relaxing stay. Our house Inspiration on Kentucky Lake is right in front of The Cottage on Kentucky lake available for larger groups. Check our Inspiration/ Selah rental.
This is a great place for a single person, couples or small families. It is on the shores of Kentucky Lake/Tennessee River. Kentucky Lake is a considered a top vacation and retirement area in the eastern USA. A great place to "get away from it all" for relaxation and a time for renewal. Pets are welcome for an extra fee.
Guest are able to use the dock (use at own risk) to rest and relax, bring your fishing pole (be sure and check the states laws on fishing license), dock your own boat, have a picnic or bring a chair and watch the barges go by. One of the most relaxing places you will find.
Located minutes from Land Between the Lakes a national recreational area home to the LBL Elk & Bison Prairie, the 1850’s KY Homeplace, a working farm where Kentucky’s history comes alive where daily chores are reenacted throughout the year.
There are special events and festivals for every season. With more than 200 miles of hiking trails, the Turkey Bay Recreational riding trails, the Nature Station has weekly activities and tons animals/wildlife, or the Golden Pond Planetarium & Observatory, you are sure to be entertained.
Only 60 miles away in Paducah is located the world known Quilt Museum. The museum attracts visitors from around the world.
Sharon and Michael both grew up enjoying lakes, boating, swimming and fishing. Michael grew up on Kentucky Lake and Sharon grew up on Lake Tuscaloosa. We have taken our families to lakes and enjoyed water activities since our children were small. Our children are now adults with their own families and they are sharing the lake adventures with them. We know you will enjoy our million dollar views and all the activities around the lake. Paris Landing State Park is a 16 mile drive where there is boat rental, dining, golfing and a beach area. Cypress Resort is 10 miles by car and 6 miles by boat. Cypress Resort has a full service marina, the best catfish restaurant in the world and some of the best fishing is just out in the mouth of cypress bay. Ken Lake/Aurora, Ky resort is about 20 miles north. Ken Lake Sate park along with multiple restaurants, convenience markets and ice cream drive-ins. Murray, Ky is only a 16 mile drive with all you need from the city. Come enjoy our out of the way and slow moving community on the beautiful Kentucky Lake.
